Same - Union set with Sentinel mods and full upgrades is realy hard to be replaced with the new one. Everything depends on the mods that the guys are planing to sinergy in ther armor and weapon. Those who plan to synergy Conductor with Limit Breaker probably will find the new ones more useful, but those who plan to stack Aegis and Sentinel OR Reflector and Sentinel probably will find Union set the better one. In general there is tendency that seasoned players don't care about new models sets, fall in love to particular model and stick with it. It isn't uncommon picture players with something like 2-3k level to wear with pride some old T51 or Últracite sets no matter how common and ordinary they looks.

Calibrated shocks are nice, but go look at your inventory. Do you really to be carrying 300 stimpacks and 200 super stims? Do you need to be carrying 300 repair kits. A tailored raid specific build is so nice.

Yup, that's what I have been doing all day, I do not have any plans yet but almost a full set of armor and a 4* weapon. I did take a few deaths to start with but now it takes around 3 mins per run. But you do have to be correctly built out for it. Although me and a friend did it bloodied three times we still had no need to use the shelters (We committed suicide) then just hit the torso ;-)
So many different power armors. Kinda wish the Ultracite power armor came with a set bonus that reduces the damage Scorched/ Scorch Beast do when you wear the full set. Would make sense given what’s the used to make it.
I think all set armour should have a bonus, but it doesn't bother me for example if vulcan is better than raider or something, but I think sets should have some sort of perk
Instead of jetpack for the torso, kinetic dynamo would be the best mod for a tanky heavy gun crit build. Since it converts 20% of damage taken into AP. My Vulcan armor consists of: * 5 pieces of Overeaters ** 3 pieces of Powered, 2 pieces of Poisoners, *** 5 pieces of Sentinels. **** 2 pieces of Scanners, 2 pieces of Reflective & 1 piece of Tanky Chest piece has Kinetic Dynamo Arms have Gimbal Bracers Legs have Calibrated Shocks Helmet has Sensor Array. I’m liking it for the raids so far.
You are misguided. Kinetic dynamo takes the same damage as you would if you didn't have it, it simply regenerates a portion of your ap based off of 20% of the damage you took.
Me and a buddy were able to farm the guardian in about 5 minutes with a good cheese strat lucked out and got most of my plans already. Along with a couple pieces of 4 star. It’s certainly doable solo without a cheese or exploit but you need to be prepared.
Vulcan PA + 4-5 rejuvenator's is op! 4 will give you 16 ap/hp regen, 5 pieces 25 ap/hp per second + bonuses from set and resistances close to t65. Grind worth it, raids with it is easy walk

Yeah i was hoping the AP regen was better . But i ended up really liking the Vulcan. A lot of grinding since the " Pick your own mods " came out , I have a full set of OverEaters ( still working on the other mods ) and its up their with my HellCat . I only use the Union on the poison gauntlet and the Enraged garden snake level because of the poison resist . I hope they make the paints / skins to where they show the ultracite shards . Maybe different color ones , glowing ect. Thanks for the video though ! These mods are surprisingly hard to unlock . So that'll take some of the grind away
The armour looks decent... and it's not a bad effect on the set... a pain in the butt that the weight is limiting for collectors like me xD but otherwise looks like it can be a decently useful PA set

Yeah there's loads of energy damage and elemental damage in the raid... But my old old old excavators still work plenty fine ;p However I still need all the armours for the collection xD
To see the boost on your fusion fores equip a gatling laser and anything above 500 shots will be the fusion core bonus, mine are currently 750 shot per fresh cose with just the armour bonus 😊
I think it’s very worth it. When the raids dropped I was using my OE union set and I burned through 70 fusion cores quick using vats on the two bosses. Since I completed my OE Vulcan set, I haven’t noticed any missing cores. If anything I’m gaining more than I use, which is great because I heard we’ll be able to store them in the ammo box soon. The ap regen isn’t as good as I expected so I’d recommend putting ap regen on two or three pieces with poison res on a few for the snake.
Wouldn't the benefit with the Ultracite Bracers lie with using them with auto melee weapons? The description doesn't specify that the melee attacks have to be unarmed.
The whole appeal of the ultracite bracers for a melee character is it covers actual melee weapons so it applies to auto axes or whatever you wanna use, unlike the rest of the mods you listed; the rest are strictly PA unarmed. Good to know it doesn't stack though; I'll toss a gimbal bracer on one of the arms. 👍
It's an end game raid content so if you and your team take more than 20 minutes to complete it I don't think it's worth the farm because you will spend more than you earn, my veteran team and I do it in 10-12 minutes and in the last few days with a secondary account that we left saved in the serpent stage we were just killing the serpent every 1 minute and a half and repeating
I cant get the mod plans to drop. I have a full set, all effects i want including 4 star. Not a single limb mod other than calibrated shocks. Not a single arm mod plan drop in over 100 full runs.
Really! Glad I'm not interested in grinding for that lot, same goes for the legendary mod plans for crafting with the new system. I'm way over that absurd rubbish.
Still dont have the helmet. Ran the raid like 100 times . got alot of mods and other things but not the dang helmet. Also im sad the under armor from tge raid is really bad .
If you're PA Heavy, throw the perk cards Bullet-Shield 4 and Ricochet on. It reflects so much damage back on the turret. In fact, have a look at all the Endurance cards, like Natural Resistance and Thrist Quencher.
Playing again first time in years. Only level 150 and ran through 1st boss about 20 times over a couple hours. Ive not done full inventory as I crashed, but Im pretty sure ai saw every part for the Vulcan armor. We tried 2nd phase a few times with no luck due to 2 lower level players (myself included). They other 2 guys were awesome though, absolutely gave us a good chance to get through once we restructure our builds. By the time ai crashed I was becoming overencombered and stash was getting very full. I think when ai load up in the norning ai will be very pleased with my haul.
The only stat that affects rewards at all is Charisma. It gives you more XP for completing group missions and more caps, but you'll be swimming in both when you do the Raid anyway. (And of course Intelligence affects XP rewarded from kills.)
The plan or helmet itself can drop from defeating any boss in the raid. I feel like it's a pretty low drop rate in general as it was the last piece I needed after running multiple times.
I can guarantee that it’s a glitch and I speak from experience you can not solo the whole raid the only encounter you can solo is the first one and that’s the only one you need to solo as everything can drop from from it except for the encounter specific weapons and statue
My union is over eater power true hiker 4 star regen and less vats...and it keeps me alive in raid much essyer vulcan over eater hardy ..anti explosion true hiker and argues 4 star and it feel less tankie in raid and open world not sure why

It would sort of work but only for a melee weapon. Miasma would trigger on melee enemies but nothing far away, so it wouldn't be useful for ranged weapons.
Its honestly really fun and reminds me of the days when expeditions first came out! Length's pretty similar to From Ashes to Fire which is one of my favorites to run! The rewards are insanely good too but im not sure if it'll stay that way since BGS usually reduces drop rates of good stuff after the initial release period.
Awsome video as always. I noticed something stranger yesterday, I went to a player vendor and there was a 4 star box for sell, 100% sure on this, just seen 1. I thought you could not buy 4 stars? I have seen many people say you can't. But i 100% seen one for sell. Wish i took a screen shot but did not. it was a 4 star armor box, gosh i hope we can buy, even if there silly expensive... PS, i hope the gimbal bracers mod ends up being for all PA, dout it but i have my hopes lol
i mean what else is there to do in fo76 for endgame players its the only thing that can and will kill you...its also fun watching lvl 2000 players get butthurt and rage quit because something in the game killed them.
If I can't sell it in my vendor, then it is not worth the grind. All these plans and recipes and I can't sell half of it in my vendor to try to recoup costs and labor. SS Armor is worthless, I cant even upgrade a 10mm or a laser pistol and sell it. God forbid a newbie wonder into my shop and get his hands on a 10,000 cap suit of armor to brave the wasteland in. If he can even make those kinds of caps when your daily cap limit for sales is 1400 caps. I'm gonna continue flooding the market with cheap plans, guns, and armor until they raise the cap limits on trade and commerce. I mean seriously, If I was a wastlelander and I learned the recipe for high grade weapons and armor, who is stopping me from selling it in my vendor. It breaks immersion. I spend all that time grinding and building a sick ass pistol, and I cant sell it unless I take the modifications off. I still have to buy the mods for SS armor and why should I. It costs more than my storage weight in gold and I cant sell any of it.
I'll prob never get these items as from what I've read the grinds are not worth my time, and if the new crafting\scraping system is anything to go by then the mods and so forth can stay there.
Fusion core rate is totally laughable with how easy it is to get fusion cores and how easy it is to maintain them with legendary perk. So the ONLY THING it gives you worthwhile is AP regen. But you get so much AP regen via other perks and power armor mods that it’s not the most OP. I’d stil prefer Hellcat’s dmg mitigation bonus honestly since resistances don’t help hardly at all anyway. So answer…absolutely not worth your time if you’re not a completionist like me but then since you can grind it from just beating stage 1 then that kind of grind makes it worth. I’ll probably never bother with the entire raid. I hate instant kill mechanics in ANY looter shooter enough
It's not worth to grind, to many time and resources being wasted especially mental health to find random teammates and it's all just for armor that have almost no difference than t-65 or union I'll wait couple seasons until bethesda realize that no one plays this raids and just make Minerva sell all plans.

I don't get how players can beat the entire thing solo, I struggled for an hour trying to get the fuel in the second part but gave up after an hour
Second part is a struggle solo.
You'll eventually get all the plans if you solo the en06. I've got almost all the plans and I've solo'd him about 40 times and some more on teams.

Easiest way is to farm only stage 1. Can be done solo with good build and gear. Took 3 days for all vulcan parts and mods plans

Unfortunately Sentinel's is still bugged. It sometimes causes none of the effects to work at all, meaning you take full damage.

Ive pretty much only done the raid for 20 hours of game time (total like 50 so far) and I have not gotten much plans XD

If you have strange in number with marsupial it does stack even more elastic mod
Bird bones reduces your weight, which adds even more height. Also reduces further with Strange.

The damage from the bracers is so minimal and slow vs high fast damage for auto melee, that it wouldn't make a difference.

I did Boss 1 solo and got three helmets, scrapped 2 and I am sick of getting the Valkarie got 4 so far and two arms all of those in 11 runs.

Its good for AP vats players but other than that its not the best.

Awsome video as always. I noticed something stranger yesterday, I went to a player vendor and there was a 4 star box for sell, 100% sure on this, just seen 1. I thought you could not buy 4 stars? I have seen many people say you can't. But i 100% seen one for sell. Wish i took a screen shot but did not. it was a 4 star armor box, gosh i hope we can buy, even if there silly expensive... PS, i hope the gimbal bracers mod ends up being for all PA, dout it but i have my hopes lol
4 stars mods are tradable

i mean what else is there to do in fo76 for endgame players its the only thing that can and will kill you...its also fun watching lvl 2000 players get butthurt and rage quit because something in the game killed them.
If I can't sell it in my vendor, then it is not worth the grind. All these plans and recipes and I can't sell half of it in my vendor to try to recoup costs and labor. SS Armor is worthless, I cant even upgrade a 10mm or a laser pistol and sell it. God forbid a newbie wonder into my shop and get his hands on a 10,000 cap suit of armor to brave the wasteland in. If he can even make those kinds of caps when your daily cap limit for sales is 1400 caps. I'm gonna continue flooding the market with cheap plans, guns, and armor until they raise the cap limits on trade and commerce. I mean seriously, If I was a wastlelander and I learned the recipe for high grade weapons and armor, who is stopping me from selling it in my vendor. It breaks immersion. I spend all that time grinding and building a sick ass pistol, and I cant sell it unless I take the modifications off. I still have to buy the mods for SS armor and why should I. It costs more than my storage weight in gold and I cant sell any of it.

I'll prob never get these items as from what I've read the grinds are not worth my time, and if the new crafting\scraping system is anything to go by then the mods and so forth can stay there.
Fusion core rate is totally laughable with how easy it is to get fusion cores and how easy it is to maintain them with legendary perk.
So the ONLY THING it gives you worthwhile is AP regen.
But you get so much AP regen via other perks and power armor mods that it’s not the most OP. I’d stil prefer Hellcat’s dmg mitigation bonus honestly since resistances don’t help hardly at all anyway.
So answer…absolutely not worth your time if you’re not a completionist like me but then since you can grind it from just beating stage 1 then that kind of grind makes it worth.
I’ll probably never bother with the entire raid. I hate instant kill mechanics in ANY looter shooter enough
If you can’t do raids solo as a full health commando without power armour, it might as well not exist. Sad face.

You can make bank on selling armor pieces while its new.
It's not worth to grind, to many time and resources being wasted especially mental health to find random teammates and it's all just for armor that have almost no difference than t-65 or union I'll wait couple seasons until bethesda realize that no one plays this raids and just make Minerva sell all plans.
