Thanks for the guide. One question in terms of the refrigerated method. Is it necessary to take out the filter, or is it possible to pour the cold brew with the filter still inside the bottle?
To answer your question, I can confirm you can pour the brew with the filter still inside the bottle. Although I would say that's ok for the first pour after finished brewing (and have done it myself), I wouldn't be keen on leaving the filter basket there (till the next day for example) for fear of it over-brewing. Also the seal is very good, they say you can brew it laying down if there's no room to stand it in your fridge, although I've not had to do that myself. For what it's worth, I've also got the Hario Mizudashi where pouring with the filter basket still in place is not possible without risk of making a mess and getting grinds in your fresh cold brew.
Modern iced coffee is when you brew strong filter coffee with howlt water, over ice, to dilute and chill. Served over more ice or just cold. Cold brew is what was shown in this video. Cold brew coffee is brewed over the course of hours using cold water for the extraction.
What grind size would you recommend on a baratza encore? Thanks!
I tried this and I liked the taste very much ❤ It's really refreshing 😚Thanks for this cooool method 😀

@cartheym I’d be glad if you could help me figuring out other differences between the FIC and mizudashi (except price difference, different capacity)
Hey, what is the best type of beans do you use for cold brew? Is it arabica dark medium roasts is it robusta

How many clicks does ,,finer" mean on Hario grinder? Thanks for answer :)
one or two. It's not much finer, though you'll have to dial it in yourself like with pretty much any recipe
Shouldn’t this be titled iced coffee? It’s not cold brew
