Looking for deep structure and jetty rock dwellers | Sand Bass, Spotties, Calico Bass | SD Bay

- Found some deep biting fish on the way out to the jetty. Fishing in the 40-45ft of water is challenging, but absolutely rewarding when hooking up on a fish. At the jetty, the bites were a bit tough, but was able to connect with a few calico bass.

Hey cous what you using to fillet they came back with new regs what you hear for boundaries stay with it they're saying poison levels through the roofs but to hit the charts and the standards no purpose to change them but home cooking and commercial it makes a major difference

Hey Afran what’s a good all around rod and reel for San Diego bay? Like something that could handle any kind of fish in the bay or in the kelp?
Abu Garcia Vendetta with an Abu Garcia Revo SX. 40lb braid.
You’ll have fun for days out there with that set up and some swim baits and underspins. Chartreuse/bait fish color swim baits and red creature plastics work great as well.
You can also check out the SLX rod and reel. Our Warbaits rods are killer. 72MH is a favorite
