I've seen this a hundred times and I still laugh at it. Funny thing is, I can only understand a fraction of what they're saying. It introduced me to Chewin' The Fat and now Still Game is one of my favorite shows.
Karen Dunbar delivers one of my personal favourite lines from Chewin' The Fat in this very sketch - "You've hee-haw's chance of gettin' yer hole! You're an android: you've cack all knob!"
“Malky” means to slash someone - often with an improvised weapon such as a straight razor or Stanley knife. In contrast to “Chib” when you stab someone, perhaps with a sharpened screwdriver. “Malky” can also act as a noun for the razor itself, or a verb for the act. “Malky” can also refer to killing someone - “See pal, I’m going to put the malky on you.” - method unspecified.
"Ah've telt ye afore, nae mair o' yer pish or ah'll stick this right in yer clacker bag" translation: "I have warned you about your bad behaviour and if you continue to misbhave, then I shall stab you with this (broken beer bottle) in your scrotum."
Star Trek should take advice from Taysiders from Space. Have a Scottish Starfleet, where the crew can dominant everyone, are capable of combating hostile life forms and are not afraid of going headfirst into danger.
Karen Dunbar says "You've hee-haw's chance of gettin' yer hole! You're an android: you've cack all knob!" = You have no chance of getting (in a hole ). You have no penis at all.
When the woman approaches he propositions her, to be questioned as to his motives given he is bereft of a penis. I’m from Glasgow, not Dundee, but understand every syllable.
That’s not really the point of the sketch. It is what they are saying which is funny also. I had to watch it a few times to get into the rhythm of what was said and then understand it
Scottish or scots not scotch. Scotch is a drink ffs. What I find disturbing is the amount of folk stating they cant understand it, im Glaswegian and I got about 70% of it. ....but but how come we get English and American tv shows and we understand everyword... "Set phasers tae malky" 😀It gets a thumbs-up for that.

Weird question, but does anyone know the name of the canned "trumpet adventure" music playing in the background? I've been searching 25 years for it!!
