Very educative. I love his videos. About suffering. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt.

I suggest you consult a psychiatrist/ psychotherapist for clinical illnesses like depression, anxiety (if you haven't already).
Meditation, and Buddhist philosophy, in my opinion, is more suitable for dukkha/ the natural suffering inherent in life and existence. Meditation is already very difficult, and practicing that might worsen your condition. Get treated ( and there are many many options for treatment ), and slowly as you improve you can add Meditation in your daily routine. Peace.

Shefalip, Meditation is the only permanent cure for managing depression. Enter "Vipaasna meditation practice English videos' on Google search. You can use headphones for 3 days. After that sit alone on a chair, close your eyes, be still and focus on your incoming outgoing breath entering the nostrils for 10 to 15 minutes early morning and night. Lot of thoughts will come but anxiety will vanish in a few days. Continue the meditation daily. Your family must also practice the above meditation practiced all around the world. Best wishes.

@@ibnsina6312 Sorry to be so blunt, but this is nonsense. Meditation has helped countless of people with depression where therapy hasn't even made a dent. It's true that meditation can be overwhelming if you're not prepared for it, but the same thing goes for therapy. My point is: Some people with depression are treatment resistant towards therapy and for others it helps. The same goes with meditation. It's too complex to simply state that one way is better than another.

Very educative. I love his videos. About suffering. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you.

    Thank you so much Master.
It's almost two weeks , I started meditating.I do it for half an hour.
Like what you said how we feel in the begining is very true.
It's difficult to bring back the monkey mind, still i'm practicing.
I feel some kind of goodness and wish to continue .
It's really very nice. I'm a person who keeps myself active, but since the lockdown period of this pandemic,I became very lazy and I really wated to get out of my laziness.I was in search of how to remove my laziness and that's where I saw your video in youtube where I came to know little bit about meditation and started meditating.
The second day itself I realised that my laziness is decreasing.
Your video and lecture has been a boon for me.
Once again I thank you so much🙏🙏🙏.

Yesterday I did my first guided meditation for two friends. they asked me since I am the one more into that. I talked about the clouds and the sky as I found it very helpful when I started.
I wanted to deliver a good experience for them. I was nervous too. I had many clouds as well. As you say. In order to really clean and process what's inside you need to make it turbulent for a while and be OK with that. They thanked me a lot for that 10 min friendly meditation. And only then I started to see the progress I ve made in the past few years.(despite of my last setbacks) I was surprised I was able to convey and inspire a little about meditation. And lately I ve been in a really chaotic situation due to self contradictions and ups and downs of life and for me it was eye opening.
I am so grateful to be able to be of help even it's just a little bit. It's not easy for anyone.
Also, I realized I have been a tyrant to myself not allowing myself to be happy and and a true friend to myself
To water kindness towards myself has always being neglected which only exacerbated my ups and downs.
I am so grateful I am starting to see that. I have improved and can improve more. I can be a friend to myself, a really good coach, etc.
And I can also help others see things in a different light. It's awesome.
Thank you!!! Really inspired :) ❤

    Awareness
    I listen to you
    You tuber
    Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche
    Tibetan Monk
    Teacher of Meditation
    On Awareness
    And I think this
    I am taking care
    Of my mental health
    Through this process
    Of Slowing,
    Listening,
    Breathing
    Your words explain
    Why and how
The mind can be open like the sky
And I am but a flower
    Reacting to the changing light
As the clouds pass on by
    Above my head.
Thank you for your inspiring words Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

I enjoy listening to Yongey Mingiur Rinpoche, I realize it takes prolonged practice and the right environment to achieve His state of mind. I also enjoy the subject oriented meditation. But I would like to ask, maybe someone who knows better then me, how exactly do I change the negative events, lets say I fell bad that I was arrogant towards someone during the day but it's to late to change it now, how can I maditate on it and send love into that feeling, so I don't feel guilt anymore? Sorry for the long question. Wishing you all well.x

I have been googling for 4 years to understand the concept, reason essence and benefits of meditation, until i found Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche this year on the internet. For me personally i learned more about meditation within 4 months compared to 4 years of following wise people. I am glad that the teacher Guru brings scientific innovations to the front to make us accept consciously the truth behind the teachings . I Thank Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche for enlightening us and to teach us this important subject.

Oh Dear Yongey Mingyur RInpoche! Please, please, please have tea with Jetsun Khanro Rinpoche and Dzongsar Khyentse RInpoche.. Please have a tea.. Please discuss absolute and relative bodhicitta.. just because this is what spurred my request to Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche.. Oh PLEASE have a tea council and counsel, seminar, with these collective Sanghas necessary to co-ordinate this collective, this group, Buddhists.

Sangha !!! Please help These three, or more, Teachers to connect -should they unanimously agree. Help organize time for them to walk and talk together and get a feel for the view of each person, unique interpretations, of the translations regarding absolute and relative view. Ask each to present an interpretation to one another that attempts to share the best aspects of view regarding relative and absolute bodhicitta. One small retreat in India or nearby and then all can participate in a later conference via cyber-web, recordings, letters and attendance in person. May there be support Love and Kindness. For the concept of relative view itself is vital enough alone for communities to teach and understand. Absolute..

Dear Sir, I am exactly at the point that you described; it seems like my mental chatter increased during meditation, even though I'm trying to quieten the mind. So your talk reassured me. It also reminded me that sometimes we are sent the information that we need, because I was feeling discouraged and when I opened youtube, your video was there waiting for me to click on it, even though I didn't know who you were and am not subscribed to your channel. Bingo! The system tries to help us sometimes, does it not?

Winged Pearloyster, Meditation is the only permanent cure for managing stress and depression. Enter "alternate nostril breathing meditation videos"on Google search and do the simple meditation for 10 minutes if possible twice a day. Lot of thoughts will come but anxiety will vanish in a few days. To know the benefits enter "Benefits of alternate nostril breathing meditation " on Google search. Do the above meditation regularly. Best wishes.Shyaaam-Life Coach.
