As for me on all my pc games I have crouch and prone set to two buttons on my mouse that I hit with my right thumb. This allows me to not have to remove my fingers from WASD or space bar. I couldn’t imagine playing this game any other way.
I usually use c and v for crouch and prone but switched to my side most button for this game. Tap for crouch or side when sprinting. Hold down for diving. It feels really good.
Back in the promod cod4 days people pulled off moves controller could never match. The absurdly strong aim assist and no recoil weapons have changed the series so much its like a different game nowdays.
@BRIGHT_LORD_C I don't know why Rockstar doesn't go back to the gunplay from that game. It was so much superior to whatever they've been doing since. I hope they use it in GTA 6 the guns felt so much more powerful, precise, and satisfying would be the key word I guess.
i played the beta, mnk is fine for omnimovment imo, i haven't used controller ever so maybe i m just used to it, Drift0r only changed to mnk what a few years ago? most PC players have been playing games with this input for at least a decade.
Controller will always be stronger in a game like this because of the simple fact that aim assist tracks against the actual hitbox of the player, which thanks to CODs horrific servers and netcode, is usually not lined up with the fast-moving player models. MnK players will aim for the player model and half their shots won't register. Controller players will aim for the player model, and aim assist will pull their aim along with the hitbox rather than the player model. Granted, the hitbox tracking is still client-side, which still doesn't sync up server-side 100% of the time--which is why controller players still notice dropped shots, but controller still has it better, and it's been like this for years at this point.
@@aelinstue9431You’re sitting on pretty low ground needing to be helped with the incredibly strong aim assist in this game. Probably not the best time to argue when OP is stating objective fact.

I played the first 20 levels sniping on mouse and keyboard then switched to controller and have now maxed the sniper out. It is so much easier. Everything you said is exactly how I felt. The movement is better, and the flinch is so hard to keep track of on mouse and keyboard and people in general are just hard to follow especially if they are diving a lot.
I may be the odd man out here, but the omni movement feels better to me on mouse and keyboard. Granted I haven't played this beta as much with controller, but I end up doing way crazier and more spot on omni-movement backwards jumps with keyboard and mouse. I could be totally off base here, but I completely disagree with the title of this video.
I haven't tried controller with bo6 but I know as far as shooting at someone I would have gotten more kills simply because of the aim assist. With that said I get more satisfaction from being 100 percent in control. Even resulting in whiffing on a lot of kills lol
As someone who has an overall 2.0kd on MW3 on PC. I'm usually top fragger on my team in my lobbies. But i really struggled on BO6. I thought I just really sucked at BO6. So I just need to adjust how I play in terms of movement and positioning and not rely on my aim.
I think playing controller with breaks might be the best choice for you Drift0r. Also you could definitely lean the controller on something like a pillow if you're still playing from bed it's pretty comfy and less weight.
I’m an FPS Relic back from the first “Doom” days (That’s 1993 for you youngsters out there ;-)) and never (!) played on controller before I mostly play ranked on COD and still am rather competitive, enjoying winning “with the team”. My verdict: goodbye MnK on COD (when playing for the “win”) Background: Wanted to know for myself how controller feels vs. MnK Got my Microsoft Elite Controller last week Watched 1hr. setup videos -> Configured the 4 paddles and buttons so that they (kind of) matched my mnk setup. Plugged in -> played 3-4 days private games only on dust against 13-17 “recruit” Bots (around 2hrs. each time - 300 to 400 kills per game) Got on PUBS => around 4th place each game, always at least positive K/D. Getting better with each hour played. (all on MW3) My personal conclusion: Do I enjoy MnK more than controller? Definitively! Is Controller better suited for this game than MnK? Definitively! Looking to win in sweaty lobbies while ranking up => controller is the way to go. I really do not care if this is “fair” or not, AA OP yadda, yadda, yadda… It is what it is. And I (kind of) enjoyed learning a completely new skill set at my age. And: all the best for your health driftur!
Unfortunately i grew up with MKB and have never really played with controllers so im just really clunky and bad with them. I dont think ill ever be able to switch
Unpopular opinion: The vast majority of FPS games are valid on MNK only. I love that CoD and Halo are designed controller first, and while I agree that everything should be playable with both inputs, I'm glad there's something for us controller players too. We have far fewer options when it comes to FPS games. As a controller player I'm not expecting equal treatment in CS, Valorant, OW, R6S or Tarkov. They're all playable (as far as I know) but not necessarily enjoyable. Just let us have CoD.
this. what i find funny about this whole debate is that kbm is fine in cod, its not even a massive disadvantage, i can do almost as well on kbm as i can on controller when i have thousands more hours on controller yet people cry as if they can't compete at all
@@lemmingsftw2480 Well, in Halo's latest case that is actually true. Both top and 50 percentile of players on controller are all higher competitive rank on average. In COD I'm sure the difference isn't as drastic, but they could at least make strides to get closer to true balance. PC input is raw; since there are no additives to aiming it is incredibly responsive but can also be incredibly inconsistent in a game that makes use of extensive aim assist and magnetism. Since it is raw however, this should make balancing it pretty straightforward, because all that would have to be done is incrementally adjust aim assist and magnetism coefficient values until it's even across a given skill level.
That's pretty valid. There's a lot of FPS games I specifically play on my PC, but COD is something very specific to me. I could see myself transitioning to K&M one day but ATM I like that I can just play the game with a controller the way I always have since I was a kid. Can't say the same about smth like Hideous Destructor. That needs a M&K to play unless you are a genius strategist with a perfect control bind setup.
Wow, thought i had read the dumbest response but you won. Yes EOMMBRTQRFT certainly does effect your controller when you forget your tinfoil hat at home.
instead of removing RAA and AA completely in 2m, why not remove just RAA in 10-20m and keep the regular AA? or do what apex legends did with AA and removing all the unnecessary visaul clutter. controller is still way better input but its good to see the devs atleast trying to balance inputs.
I think adding input lag to rotational to more simulate human reaction time, along with reducing the max stickiness of both it and AA in general would be good. I'd also be fine with AA being reduced in a gradient, maybe starting at as far out as 7-8 meters for rotational, and being off by 3 meters, and starting to weaken at 6 meters for regular, being off entirely by 2.5 meters. I also think that all AA should turn off beyond 40 or so meters.
I don’t like how this is becoming a thing, AA has become so strong in recent years, I remember AA in the older cods wasn’t that strong. It would be nice if they could half the AA as people rely on it too much, it’s suppose to be an assist
AA has gotten way worse in recent years. Y’all just need something to cry about when you are shitty at the game so you have to try to ruin our experience because you’re trash.
MnK since mw2019 and this game feels weird with mnk... whenever i see killcams, controlelr players so effortlessly hit the 4 shots and kill me. it seems like once theyre on target, the next 5 hits will hit guaranteed
After playing on m&k for the past 13 years. I made the switch to controller for cod after trying to grind ranked on MW3. I realized even after playing counter strike for the past 10 years and developing fantastic aim and mechanics on m&k.. I wouldn’t be able to compete with the top 10% of players who have mastered aim assist and movement. My recommendation to fellow pc players is get you a really nice modded controller (I got a BattleBeaver) and practice. You’ll realize quickly a lot of your mechanics and game sense transfer to a controller. If we cant beat them we have to join them. RIP M&K cod
as a m&k player, i can totally relate. i did the same as you and tried a controller. i haven't used a controller on Cod since advanced war . im a sniper main on m&k, and i was having a hard time hitting shots that on mw3 would be hitting all day. but the movement in this game is just too much. but yet when i went to the controller, i was hitting shots i had no business hitting . even i was like, what!? they say there isn't any aim to assist on snipers even on controller, but i think there's definitely aim assist now that i done this test.
Same bro, I snipe on mnk and I felt like I lost my touch coming from mw3 😢 then I jumped on controller and it’s night and day. I was hitting shots like you said. I guess I gotta get back on controller even though I don’t want to lol
I get way more satisfaction using mnk and hitting sniper shots and kills in general because I know it was me and no assist. Controller would be easier but I like the challenge of using mnk.
@@Boltron Is that what you want, aim assist with the mouse? I wouldn't even want such a strong aim assist on controller! That would mean losing the whole skill cap. Controller and MNK should have separate lobbies if desired.
I'm a controller player primarily, so I may be biased. But I guess I'm having trouble seeing why this may be a bad thing. Like, I wouldn't go into csgo expecting controller to optimal for that game. Some games will be better on controller, others will be better on MnK. If cod is primarily a console game, is it so bad that controller is better?
I personally don’t see the problem. I’m sure activision blizzard Microsoft has the data that shows where their sales are coming from. Also in matchmaking pc and console players can be segregated
Imagine if in basketball, one player had to shoot normally with all the practice and skill that takes (mouse), and the other player has ball magnetism that pulls it towards the net once its 5 feet from it, and the net triples in size when only his ball is near it (controller). That's mouse vs controller with aim assist. I LOVE BOTH, I played Halo and Gears on controller, I play CSGO and other shooters on PC. Controller NEEDS aim assist because its a thumb with a small area, you don't have the dexterity or freedom of movement a mouse controlled by your hand/wrist does. FPS with controller is almost unplayable without AA. My argument here is that its not possible to have a fair game with mixed input lobbies. I'm not saying controller with aim assist doesn't have a skill gap, because it certainly does, but like my example it just doesn't work when both are together. Its just not possible to find that "sweet spot of aim assist" because ultimately its a handicap setting that's helping you do something that a PC player is expected to do with no help. Its nice to have more players in the pool for matchmaking, but I really think this whole mixing needs to stop and they need to divide the games by input method. Other games have done it or had the option and its fine. The game itself is cracked though, it feels like Titanfall without wall running, maybe even crazier in some ways. I really enjoy it, but its lame having mixed input lobbies with how much effort it takes now to track people with mouse doing these crazy moves all around.
This is one of the best takes I’ve ever seen on the kbm vs controller debate. Well said. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough kbm players to separate the matchmaking. It would be terrible for yall. I think the only options they have are the leave it as is or make the game controller only. And we all know which one they will choose because it will generate the most money.
I know this take was made in good faith but its just outright wrong. Controllers dont need aim asisst to work i have played on controller, on ps5 without AA against mnk and controller for roughly 2 years now and it works perfectly fine. Somehow people are constantly talking about stick-aiming and how AA is needed for controller while ignoring/missing/not knowing about the ginormys "Gyro-Aim" elephant in the room. The Real reason why these "pros" want to keep AA and there for stick aiming alive is because of their massive overblown fragile egos and because they would be exposed as the frauds that they are.
@@MRxFR34KY I don't think its fair to say I'm wrong, then use "gyro aim" as to why. I didn't mean gyro aim, never mentioned it because I see it as a completely different (awesome) thing. I'm talking strictly standard stick aim, what most people think of and use. Now you are correct though, gyro aim is fantastic and not enough devs incorporate it. That actually is a fantastic solution that would be way more fair with mouse, but it has adoption problems by both devs implementing it and users not knowing about it.
I vastly prefer mnk over controller so idk what youre talking about. Feels way easier and better on mnk for me, controller is all preference. I can use my mouse to aim myself with omni, i can press buttons faster, i can easily track enemies on mouse better than i can on controller.
@Drift0r have you looked into any accessibility controllers from either Microsoft or a third party? You honestly seem to be enjoying BO6, and as someone who’s watched you since BO2, I’d love to see you get the most out of this game while keeping the pain to a minimum 🙏
I am doing fine with keyboard and mouse, I did change a few binds to make omni-movement easier. There was a learning curve but I am doing pretty well for an old fart (pushing 44) and I am pretty happy with my 2.0ish K/D while playing objective. I am not the beast I once was so I don't expect to average a 4.5-5kd ever again regardless of control scheme.
I'm 51 and so fine with mnk as well. I don't want the easier hand hold option. I know it will get me easier kills but honestly I just get more pleasure from actually AIMING and tracking TARGETS myself. There are tons of kills I miss when my aim is off but I'm fine with that
I played a good bit of XDefiant and with the movement in that game, controller has a similar advantage over M&K. Tracking people doing abrupt movement changes in mid-air is much easier with aim assist.
Been meaning to try a controller on XD, my glory days of CoD were all on 360 but been solely MKB post-BO2. It’s just been so freaking long, I wonder how good I will be but I guess with aim assist I shouldn’t even worry lol
They recently said that people don't know how to adjust the settings to play with mouse and keyboard however I do think that this game is intended to play with a controller
I don't necessarily disagree, because I had to make adjustments to my keybinds including putting crouch/slide and dive on my mouse's side buttons and setting the Sprint Assist to On with a delay of 0 is pretty much required for any mouse player. But are you trying to play the inputs in identical ways or something? I always have to adjust for each input's strengths and weaknesses. I haven't had any difficulty with the omnimovement with a mouse, but I also don't bother diving at all. Why dive when you can sprint sideways and counter strafe? With counter strafing in particular it 's way easier to do that with mouse keys. Controller has always been easier to just pick up and do well, that's the whole point of it. And yeah I highly doubt they had M+K in mind when they designed the game but I've had a far, FAR easier time on a mouse with this game compared to the last 2 games. It's the best mouse has felt since MW 2019 (that game is still king for mouse).
The game feels smooth af with mnk for me. I know we are at a disadvantage going against controller players but for me I want FULL control. I can't get that with a controller.
7:30 Drift, have you thought about getting a JoyCon-like set? I’d imagine those are much easier to handle for you than a standard controller. Your bed setup really isn’t good for controller cause instead of your elbows at 90° angles to your hands, it’s the full 180°. That affects how far your fingers can reach and the “preload” for a lack of better term on your tendons in your wrist and fingers. It also helps that your wirsts won’t be pointed downwards on the perpendicular axis to your normal wrist’s up and down motion. Try it out. See your range of motion and tension feel of your fingers at 90° and 180°. I think your thumbs and pinkies would be most affected by that setup. You could also try and make a “floating controller” setup so you can have your arms in front of you instead of in your lap.
Im a MnK player. There is the urge to go to controller, but I just can't. I have this thing where I like to constantly improve and level up. Controller would be just like cheating to me. Aim assist would annoy me.
I completely get it , I switched to mouse&keyboard in 2020 and i sucked at the game , it was frustrating because i was a beast in controller , the thing is , once i stop caring about stats and start just enjoying the game i restored my skill with better feeling in mouse , now i can’t imagine going back to controller
I started doing much better once I realized I couldn't compete sliding/jumping/doing whatever crazy CQB shenanigans that controller players do. Aim assist is too strong with the fast movement. Once I started holding positions, anchoring, focusing on lanes, I did far far better as on mouse it's usually easier to laser people at mid to long ranges, and the aim assist is far more precise in activation at that range. If you're going to play crossplay lobbies, don't try to do the omnimovement thing. Just play it like Black Ops 2.
All the controller players are gonna be pissed but you’re 100% correct. I main mnk but decided to plug a controller in just to mess around and aim assist is just to strong. I was doing way to well for almost never using controller
Feels like your cheating after using mnk that you have to 100 percent aim yourself. I haven't used a controller for bo6 but did plug one up for xdefiant and my kills jumped up right away. It was just easier to stay on target. I went back to mnk as I wasn't FULL control. I don't want... easier.
Doesn't Microsoft have their adaptive controller that can let you rig up a controller to play in the most comfort way for your hands? Might be something to look into with how your hands are still recovering
6We have known this for a long time as pc players. It was just the copium of controller players to be in complete denial for years how broken aim assist is in games like this. Finally hopefully the console community at large will understand how broken and unskillful aim assist is. Even the cod pros mention it from time to time. Even going back to old cods with much simpler aim assist, at least you did somewhat have to aim. Now the game LITERALLY does it for you. And it has for years.
It's like this in most shooters especially cod. It was designed with controller in mind first. Me...i prefer MNK. i just am not comfortable having full control of aiming. I know controller is better mainly for the aim assist. As soon as you shoot in someone's direction you don't have to adjust. With mnk i miss a lot of kills when they move around allot. All in all I'm still having fun and will not switch to controller.
Directional movement has always been better on a stick as opposed to a keyboard. You only get 8 directions with a keyboard and like you said, you get Infinite directions with an analog thumbstick. I think this fact is particularly apparent with this CoD because of this new omni-movement stuff. Think back to popular PC shooters like Counterstrike, they were so popular because they played toward keyboard+mouse's strengths, where movement isn't very important and accuracy is much more important. And that's not true with this CoD, there's more focus on movement in this CoD which plays to a controller's strengths. So I don't think this CoD was made specifically for controller and mouse+key is just an afterthought. CoD has always been the biggest game every year not just on console but on PC as well. Oh and another thing too, I mean I'm just stating the obvious here but I feel needs to be said anyway, is that controller is less complex and more streamlined. That's true for every game, mnk vs controller. Ease of use has always been vastly superior on controller, that's kindof the point of using it. The 1 LMG (the XMG) might be better suited to your hand's strength and dexterity situation. What I'm saying is, there are other styles of playing. I saw in your video that you're moving about the map at a pretty rapid pace, which will be demanding, but the XMG seems to have better stopping power but with less mobility. Maybe you should try an "overwatch" style of play where you lock down key choke points with a superior firepower of that XMG. Plus, using this gun has the added effect of sortof forcing you to adopt a different playstyle, it will demand that you play to it's strengths and avoid its weaknesses. You'll be less mobile, and therefore have less demand on your hands, but you can also still be effective. When I use that LMG (and this is true for Cold War too), I won't get the 50 bombs very often, but I'll almost always wind up with something like 24 kills and 3 deaths. So you're still effective.
Hey Drift0r! I'm curious if you have access to some lighter controllers that might be better for your hands? It'd also be cool to see if an adaptive controller works!
Man I spent years aiming trading trying to go pro on mnk I statistically have top 5% aim on kovaak ( against other people who are Harding aim so possibly top 2% of normal mnk). Such a slap in the face that in so many games an above average controller player has the same accuracy as me. When the pro scene of apex halo and cod is predominantly controller there is something wrong (not 100% sure about cod assuming)
I’d go back to controller like in BB my high school days where i had perfect aim on halo reach but i got arthritis in my thumbs cause of the thousands of hours i put in back in the day
I've always accepted that most controller players have better aim than M&K because of aim assist, but the tradeoff was I could move way better on M&K than most controller players. But in Bo6 that is no longer true. Bo6 omni movement is so poorly optimized for M&K that it was virtually impossible to get a flow going. I switched to controller for the first time since I was a kid, and it was a night and day difference. This HAS to be addressed. Also, aim assist is way too strong in this title, but what else is new.
I have for the first time put away my controller. I kept having problems. The right stick not working, the game automatically switching input mode, aim rotation speed automatically switching. I also feel like (for me) it is easier to track the constantly diving and sliding enemys.
The problem i have is the sense of feeling that i need to work so much harder to get kills just because im using MnK. I get aim assist and completely understand why it exists but trying to play against controller players in this game with the sliding, diving and crazy strafe speeds feels like a full time job. Ive played COD for a very long time and have alot of love for the series but i dont have the time or love of the game anymore to sweat every lobby in the name of fun. Its clear the devs came up with innovation that caters for the contoller input and somewhat hinders Mnk and they are alright with that, so i guess ill have to be alright spending my money elsewhere.
I definitely suck on controller because every time I try to play on controller I look like a bot. Mouse and keyboard feels more natural to me now after I’ve developed the muscle memory. I wish I was good at controller like I used to be lol
I feel the same. The biggest difference for me with a controller is once I start shooting at someone the game will aim for me. Being a mnk player that just feels cheap to me. Like I'm not really earning my kills. I suspect that is because playing games like PUBG or insurgency there is zero aim assist.
Wish they would just introduce input based mm! No disrespect to controller players but it's just boring watching killcams where im full strafing sliding and diving and I just see them stick on to my player model. It's a different game we're playing when I have to be consistently tracking fast moving players with my hand and shoulder and they get a free kill sometimes barely moving the stick to track 🤷♂
Hey @Drift0r you could use an Azeron keypad which you can place on your desk like a keyboard, giving you all the advantages of a controller thumbstick with a bunch of key binds and keep the benefit of mouse aim
the new movement is kind of a pain to do on kbm and i have been using kbm for CoD ever since black ops 4. i think i would need to change the keybinds a lot to make kbm comfortable to play in bo6
I play ALL my life with mk and i few years Ago i start playing in controller, now i am using mnk again and i'm doing great... Yes aa IS strong but for a médium player this don't matter.
Off the topic of COD, I was wondering what kind of wrist exercises do you do? My wrists sometimes hurt when working out (especially with push-ups), and I keep meaning to look up what I can do to strengthen them some
I haven’t seen your bed setup in a while but I rest my hands (whole forearms) on my desk while playing on controller. Can you rest your arms on something or will that not work with the bed setup?
Can someone tell me why every gun has a crazy futuristic, mystical, or steampunk skin? This game is looking more like Black Ops 2 than anything resembling the 90's or Cold War's absolutely wonderful mid-80s charm.
It’s obvious that omnimovement was designed for controller to be played against controller. You can focus entirely on the movement, diving, sliding, etc while the aim assist does 90% of the aiming for you.
You say it like it's a bad thing, but that sounds interesting to me. An FPS with simplified shooting mechanics where you can focus on other aspects of the game as the skill gap. 90% is a cartoonish exaggeration though.
@@ghost632I like it, but it kinda gets in the way in multiplayer because every millisecond counts over there lol. But I'll definitely turn it on for the campaign and zombies!
I completely disagree, I only just started using K&M about a month ago (been using only controller on consoles for 10 plus years) and I feel like aiming is way off on controller in this game, feels like when I get my joystick all the way to the end there's too much rotational multiplier (not aim assist) and there no way of changing it that I can see?
COD devs have always treated PC as 2nd class citizens
how would you like them to add omni movement for kbm?? you cant unless you want Q,E,Z,C for movement lol then you lost 4 other inputs, its a lose lose

this is the cod that made me realize i’m done with the franchise i just can’t compete
“A tale as old as time itself”
How times has changed, remember the old days when playing with controller suckd, now its quite the opposite, darker days for us on MK
and primarily only because of aim ''assist"
Good thing is, I didn't pre-order. I'll wait until the open beta.
As someone who has an overall 2.0kd on MW3 on PC. I'm usually top fragger on my team in my lobbies.
But i really struggled on BO6. I thought I just really sucked at BO6. So I just need to adjust how I play in terms of movement and positioning and not rely on my aim.
Have you turned sprint assist on? I think that's what it's called. Makes a big difference have the auto sprint always on.
The game has a high skill learning curve I was booty at the start but once I got the movement down I was smoking kids
man states the obvious
I think playing controller with breaks might be the best choice for you Drift0r. Also you could definitely lean the controller on something like a pillow if you're still playing from bed it's pretty comfy and less weight.
I’m an FPS Relic back from the first “Doom” days (That’s 1993 for you youngsters out there ;-)) and never (!) played on controller before
I mostly play ranked on COD and still am rather competitive, enjoying winning “with the team”.
My verdict: goodbye MnK on COD (when playing for the “win”)
Background:
Wanted to know for myself how controller feels vs. MnK
Got my Microsoft Elite Controller last week
Watched 1hr. setup videos -> Configured the 4 paddles and buttons so that they (kind of) matched my mnk setup.
Plugged in -> played 3-4 days private games only on dust against 13-17 “recruit” Bots (around 2hrs. each time - 300 to 400 kills per game)
Got on PUBS => around 4th place each game, always at least positive K/D. Getting better with each hour played.
(all on MW3)
My personal conclusion:
Do I enjoy MnK more than controller? Definitively!
Is Controller better suited for this game than MnK? Definitively!
Looking to win in sweaty lobbies while ranking up => controller is the way to go.
I really do not care if this is “fair” or not, AA OP yadda, yadda, yadda…
It is what it is.
And I (kind of) enjoyed learning a completely new skill set at my age.
And: all the best for your health driftur!
Unfortunately i grew up with MKB and have never really played with controllers so im just really clunky and bad with them. I dont think ill ever be able to switch
Unpopular opinion:
The vast majority of FPS games are valid on MNK only.
CoD is only "valid" because of aim assist dude.

@@aelinstue9431 How would u experience something that makes good players bad if u are not a good player?
The dumbest thing to me is that switching to controller, which I have never even used, has fixed my hit reg issues
instead of removing RAA and AA completely in 2m, why not remove just RAA in 10-20m and keep the regular AA? or do what apex legends did with AA and removing all the unnecessary visaul clutter. controller is still way better input but its good to see the devs atleast trying to balance inputs.
Because then the people who scream “skill issue” when you mention aim assist will have to come to terms with not being as good as they think they are.

I don’t like how this is becoming a thing, AA has become so strong in recent years, I remember AA in the older cods wasn’t that strong.
It would be nice if they could half the AA as people rely on it too much, it’s suppose to be an assist
Go play Black Ops 2 and just aim at a wall. If there is someone on the other side your sights will follow them.
RIP M&K cod

Not reading allat, just use a controller
I know this take was made in good faith but its just outright wrong. Controllers dont need aim asisst to work i have played on controller, on ps5 without AA against mnk and controller for roughly 2 years now and it works perfectly fine. Somehow people are constantly talking about stick-aiming and how AA is needed for controller while ignoring/missing/not knowing about the ginormys "Gyro-Aim" elephant in the room. The Real reason why these "pros" want to keep AA and there for stick aiming alive is because of their massive overblown fragile egos and because they would be exposed as the frauds that they are.
@@moistbandito1253 no , just nerf aim assist so it's a fair fight

That’s actually good for us controller players, PC always has an advantage and this levels the playing field lol
Good idea!
Keyboard has 4 directions, controller has infinite. End of discussion lol.
I agree with a lot if not everything you said, but the reality is... COD has been better on controller since MW2019 if not before.
cod should always be controller friendly , this is coming from a mouse and key player
I have also swapped to controller. Been doing much better and also having more fun
It’s why I canceled my pre order on steam. I shouldn’t have to switch inputs to be on an even playing field.

Ok, I'm 55 and stopped liking COD after BO4, but looking forward to beta testing this weekend on my PS5.
I mean, it has been this way forever, thats why almost no MnK players play CoD anymore. but thanks for giving it even more light!
Except it doesn't, at all. If that was the case there wouldn't be so many garbage controller players. Keep coping bro

Drifter is an extreme casual and is barely bringing any facts with this video. I play fine on mouse, he's just talking with feelings
This is 1000 percent true! I played on my legion go and I was killing it!
As a lifetime console player myself, if I had an expensive rig the last thing I would want to play on it would be Cod😂
Yeah I had a feeling controller is the way to go for Black Ops 6. And I'm a K&M main since 2015. I used to play controller from Black Ops 1 to Ghosts.
I haven’t played cod since mw19 trust you don’t lose your talent on controller! It’s like riding a bike
I’d go back to controller like in BB my high school days where i had perfect aim on halo reach but i got arthritis in my thumbs cause of the thousands of hours i put in back in the day
Controller input on PC doesn’t feel the same as console for me. Am I doing something wrong?
