Transmasc kids, listen up- I FEEL like a lot of us are at least familiar with Minecraft. If you’re confident enough, wear the kind of Minecraft shirts that a 12 year old boy would wear. Best decision ever.
as a transman who's is goth and likes dresses, corsets... I feel invalidaded by assholes who think gender is clothes. I felt less masculine for a long time and this video might help me be seen as a guy by other people :)
I’m non-binary trans. I dress masculine (or I try to). I call myself “trans” because it’s easier than EXPLAINING nonbinary 😒. My friends are like “dude you’re not nonbinary you’re a trans man” Which has made me feel invalid. I’m here to tell you, no matter how you present yourself, how YOU feel is how YOU feel and don’t let people tell you who YOU are. You ARE valid and YOU deserve recognition and respect. No matter who you are. Weather you’re a… Cis female presenting masculine Cis male presenting feminine Cis female presenting feminine Cis male presenting masculine Trans male presenting masculine Trans male presenting feminine Trans female presenting feminine Trans female presenting masculine Non-binary presenting feminine Non-binary presenting masculine Cis female presenting androgynous Cis male presenting androgynous Non-binary presenting androgynous Etc etc YOU ARE VALID AND DONT LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE. trousers tip: they're quite expensive to buy new, but levi's ribcage straight leg jeans are great at hiding hips. they are marketed towards women, but the sizing goes by waist and inseam length
SAMEEE idk if u already achieved this bc I’m like 9 months late but I saw a vid that said if u put ur arm on a table and like put ur hand in a fist and put ur jaw on the top of ur fist and open and close ur jaw while like putting pressure/force u get a masculine jawline- idk if it actually does anything but u could try :D
Another amazing tip is to have shoulder pads. Wide shoulders is seen as a very masculine trait, and adding shoulder pads to one of your under layers helps build up a masculine appearance.
this reminded me i have like no clothes in the first place so now i have an excuse to go buy cool masc clothes. this is really helpful, especially because my monkey brain didn't realize you can put t shirts on top of a hoodie.. i forgot layering existed
I am so thankful to have big feet! I got teased about the largeness of my feet all the time when I was little, but it's awesome now because I wear a regularly available men's shoe size and don't have to worry about hunting down adult styles in small sizes...Whew!
I feel feminine in my head, and I love to dress masc. My hair is also REALLY short, which leads to many people thinking I'm a guy and I ADORE it. I love the way I look.
Enby person here, will say regarding pants: if you are well endowed in the butt/thigh area and are trying to find pants that fit, size up in jeans and pants that are non stretchy. I will also say: khaki/cuffed joggers are such a gold mine if you want to help reduce the look of your thick legs😤👍🏻 great job with the vid pal
I'm a transmasc highschooler, and I'm super grateful to not be super dysphoric about my body right now! But I really like watching these tip videos from you, Theo, because you never know!!! it might help :D
Hey I'm a trans masc punk. I really appreciate your tips! I was wondering where you got your pins that were on your denim jacket? I've tried to find some everywhere but I could only find any at hot topic in my local mall and even then I don't really like the photo copy look of a lot of them
I am a 14 year old transgender male. I am going shopping this weekend and trying to find tips on what to wear and what will fit me the best and things like that.
THANK YOU SO MUCH this was so helpful. Yesterday I went to the mall, it was my first time **actually** choosing my clothes (for christmas) and i didn't know what to do, so i just went home sad and empty handed. I found your channel thanks to the trans tips video and happened to come across the best transmasc clothing guide ever. Super helpful dude, ty!
It's for stories like this that we exist. So messed up to live in a world that has been literally designed along binary lines. It's so important for us to start designing for ourselves and getting more options out there so that these terrible mall experiences (I've had so many growing up) become a thing of the past.
Oh my gosh, so I have two cismale cousins (whom I adore) who I know would GLADLY let me take some clothes, but I NEVER would have thought to even ask them! 😱 How could I forget I have at least a few people in my family who are in my corner? Thank you for the suggestion! Really helped open my eyes! 🖤🖤🖤
dysphoria + sensory issues is a bad. i have a hard time wearing multiple shirts, unless the one under is really small and the one over is really big, i can wear a jacket or hoodie over a t-shirt but thats about it- i also cant comfortably wear watches or rings- i hear a lot of guys talk about rings masculinizing your hands which would be AWESOME for me because i hate my hands- but i just cant do it- :(
i have no problem with my hips, i actually really like my hips, what i dont love are my thighs- because i LOVE baggy pants, i love how they look on other people, and i have never found pangs baggy enough to not squeeze my thighs- I'm curvier and heavier, and my thighs are huge, im not super insecure about my weight, i just wish i knew how to find clothes for me...
The layering section was AMAZING!! I'm visiting a friend in two weeks where the weather is a lot colder than where I live, and I've been anxious because I don't have a masc winter coat yet. The hoodie and denim jacket combo is absolutely insane!! I look so handsome 🥺 thank you so much theo!!!
Layering is such a classic transmasc staple. Have you looked at any of Both&'s designs though? They're made to eliminate that need because the cotton is heavyweight so it holds structure and doesn't cling (and also the proportions are made specifically for AFAB masc presenting bodies)
I'm late to this video but if your hips are making you uncomfortable I highly recommend cargo pants, I barely wear jeans anymore because of how much I love cargo pants lmao, they don't even have to be oversized, the cut usually hides your hips very well + it looks badass alright
Hi I’m a trans guy and I’m 20 I new I was trans when I was 17 and came out when I was 18 but my father that I lived with is kinda a biggit and said I was ruining the country but I’m completely out now and I will subscribe for videos like this because I’m still learning what I can do to pass
lol if you are only 18 and already ruining the country that's lowkey impressive like you're not even old enough to be president (this is a joke i know you're probably not actually ruining the country)
Idk if this is helpful to anyone, but if you're not out and you want to buy men's clothes or get hand me downs, saying that men's clothes are more comfortable and that's why you want them could help you. In general I find them to be that anyways since they're more loose fitting.
hii!! i've just started watching your videos and as a transmasc nby i'm so satisfied with all your tips!! i look forward to seeing you more often on my recommended videos :]
Litterally was doing my thrift shopping while watching dis video. Bought a couple of hoodies and high heels to make tiktoks. Omg so much gender euphoria being a guy on heels! One of hoodie is green (men section) with little golden embroided words 'take care of yourself'
Today was my first day of school and I’m worried people think I’m a girl and I know another trans guy and he passes so well and my mom full on told me that if I dressed like him she would believe me that I’m trans
Ty this helped a lot!! But like the one thing I'm struggling on is like shopping in irl. Honestly everytime I go shopping I wanna go in the men's section but I feel like I'll be stared at (bc I live in a place where trans people aren't really excepted as much as other places) and I just would like to know if you know some other places to go shopping at where there arnt separate section!!
honestly if you have any tips for working out without messing up your ribs that would be super helpful. i really want to get back in shape but sports bras make me v dysphoric haha
@@nambid4368 I’m pretty sure using tape (even though it might be made to bind I’m pretty sure it’s still way more damaging than binders) there are a lot of things I found on Pinterest stretches for when wearing a binder. I’ll try to find a video for stretching with a binder
Plus your male relatives clothing will anyway not fit you because a women's medium in clothes is a man's extra-small in clothing and most men are a medium and up in men's clothing

They were right... I am a trans man...
Around 3 years later, I can confirm small-town America is still selling cheap stuff at thrift stores
It's wonderful
pants tip from me!
for people who are the size of a literal child (like me
Or try out Both& jeans which are made specifically for transmasc folks body proportions!
trousers tip:
they're quite expensive to buy new, but levi's ribcage straight leg jeans are great at hiding hips. they are marketed towards women, but the sizing goes by waist and inseam length

I'm a trans femboy, but I want to look more male-like in my face and my hair so that people don't see me as a girl

watching this and realising I've already subconciously been doing all this despite not knowing I was trans 🤡
I only have sisters but yeah I have "stolen" some of my dads clothes

goodwill had the best masc and cozy clothes and its nice able to get so much since theyre cheaper

try using a binder thats a size up from your normal size, that way you dont gotta wear a sports bra but also arent hurting yourself :)
@@muffinpie9483trans tape is totally different than ace bandages - it does not go all the way around/does not squeeze your ribs
