    Since that video had been made Rumparooz diapers changed in curtain ways. Pocket diapers now have a way smaller fit for some reason, they barely fit on my 30 lbs son. Basically, very overpriced brand. Each pocket diaper comes with set of microfiber inserts, not an expensive bamboo or hemp. In less than a year of regular use the diaper turns into flabby worn out sack. I wish them to have thiese pocket diapers in bigger size and thicker inner layer, or come up with some bamboo inserts for $25 item

      I agree! My little daughter is only five months old and probably 15lbs by now. She has super long legs though and is fast outgrowing these....unless I'm just totally not using them right. I'm going to try a trick she showed in here and see if it helps.

      Thank you for watching the video! The Rumparooz that are shown in the video are actually the same Rumparooz that are sold today - no changes! We have not changed the size or the pattern one stitch. They still fit from 6-40 lbs, but if you are having trouble accomplishing this fit we always recommend that you reach out to our award winning customer service team. We are happy to help and a great fit is usually just a simple adjustment away! Additionally, your diapers should look as nice and new as the day you bought them, even 3 years later when you are storing them away, or getting ready to sell them. If they don't, it is a good time to look at your wash routine. "Flabby worn out" looking diapers is a sign that there is buildup and grime residue left behind in the diaper from a poor wash routine or maybe just a detergent that wasn't doing a great job. We do have a list of recommended detergents that have stood the test of time as the best cloth diaper detergents on the market to always get your diapers clean and keep them fresh, long lasting, and looking just as clean and fluffy as the day you bought them until the day your kiddo potty trains. We can't guarantee to always be the least expensive one size diaper on the market, but it has always been our mission, since 2006, to maintain a low cost, one size diaper, never sacrifice quality and function for cheaper materials and stand by ethical manufacturing and product testing. When you buy a Rumparooz, or and Kanga Care product, you become part of the Kanga Care family and you don't just get diapers, you get an entire community and unwavering support.

      @@r.e.durbin6217 Hopefully the trick worked! I'd love to hear it if did or not. One mistake a lot of parents make - especially when they *think* their little one has "grown out" of the Rumparooz "already" - it is because they have actually moved up to the next size TOO SOON! Moving up too soon will cause the diaper to sag and pull down and give them "diaper crack", like "plumber's crack". And this makes it appear that the diaper is too small, when in reality it is because the waist isn't fitted correctly, the rise is too long and "dragging".
      At 15 lbs it doesn't matter how long or tall your daughter is, she should be on the medium. The Medium STARTS at 15 lbs. Fully unsnapped (large) startes between 25-30lbs. At 6.5 months old my son was 27 lbs and he was on the medium too! He stayed on the medium until he was around 30 lbs.

    I have a stupid question! once the poo is done... you put everything down in the washing machine right? so you to take the soaker out before you do? that's very messy no? when you pull it out?

    • @floodgates182
      @floodgates182 7 років тому

      for poo, you usually put in a diaper fleece (I like the Disana brand for this, smooth and don't cling to the baby's privates, as some brands do). that is a piece of cellulose paper, similar to kitchen paper, that you lay on top. the poo is then in the fleece and can be flushed. you only need this when the baby is on solids, BF babies poo is water soluble. I'm not sure, but I think you'd want to remove the soakers from the diaper before washing, otherwise drying will take days.

    can the soakers go up against the skin? Or are they made of microfiber

    • @KangaCare
      @KangaCare  9 років тому

      Hi Summer! We have 3 types of soakers - Hemp, Bamboo and Microfiber. Both the Hemp and Bamboo can lay directly against baby's skin. The microfiber should only be used inside the pocket diaper. Microfiber may feel soft to the touch but it absorbs very rapidly and can cause over-dryness directly against the skin, being very abrasive. You can check out the 3 different types of 6r Soakers here - www.kangacare.com/Rumparooz-Cloth-Diaper-6r-soaker-inserts.html

      Kanga Care I assume the ones that come with the diapers when purchased are the microfiber ones?
