By May 10th you will receive an email with instructions regarding properly sending your ESC to us. We will also include a shipping label so that you can send your ESC to us for no cost to you.

I found out how to reset RLOD. Short pin 1 and 2 on ISSI IS25LP128 chip. I've made a short video on it.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve had the RLOD on my stealth and it has solved itself by leaving it plugged in to balance. Good to know these guys can fix them.

Just got dreaded RLOD immediately after a 7 mile run. Ended the Ride app, turned off Boosted and voila, RLOD. 35% charge showing on the Ride app.
Gonna send it out to either Boosted Guys or XR General Hospital next week.
Sorry to hear about the RLOD. Glad you have a plan. If you not already, consider having whoever you send it to, that they install an amnesia chip. So of you get the RLOD again, you can reset it yourself.
Love your videos on boosted board ownership & maintenance! Please keep it up! I just got the RLOD on my 2.5.1 battery. Died at 2.5 dots on the remote. I charged it for 3 weeks and it was still red @ 99%. I unplugged it and checked the app and it said 100% after a few seconds. So i rode it far thinking all is well and it died at 2.5-3 lights again, so i took the battery off the board this time like you had in a previous video and plugged it in Nov 1st and now it has all 5 dots lit up but still a red light. im assuming its at 99% again. What should i do ? Leave it plugged in for months? when do i draw the line? can i send it in to eboardstuff even though its 2.5.1? Thank you 🙏
2 weeks will in most cases should be enough time to trickle charge the cells to balance. I have heard in some cases taking a bit longer but I believe the 3 weeks you have should have been enough. Yes I would send it in to be checked, they might be able to be reset or they can inform you if ur cells went bad. Either way if your not getting the use of your full charge I would.
TheBoostedGuys.com does also sell new and refurbished batteries if yours is bad. Even at the 2.5.1 I just keep them on the charger to keep them maintained. Sorry your going through this issue.

Nicely done. How do these compare to something like the one wheel? I know mechanically they're very far apart but rideability and comfort what's your thoughts?
I personally like the skateboards but that’s because I’ve ridden them all my life. One wheels are great too and can go over rougher terrain so there are some advantages with that. But for me, Boosted Board and e-board’s are the way to go.

Hey Luke Thank You for checking out my video. Yeah The Boosted Guys are great and very reliable. I bought many items from them over the years and also had them rebuild motors and a battery. Great service and turnaround timing. If I might suggest, when you send in your battery to clear out the RLOD, the extra $75.00 is worth it if you can to have the amnesia chip installed. Then should you get the RLOD again you can reset it yourself by just holding down the power button. Good luck and I know everything will work out! Ty
I just got the RLOD. Sad day. I’m thinking of going through them, good to hear it worked out for you. So if I go through them, this chip will keep me free from any problems in the future and i should be good to go right?
Hey Rosca you’ll be in great shape after. They’ll reset and battery to make it active again and if you get the amnesia chip installed you’ll be able to do it yourself by holding down the power button. To also reduce the odds on it happening again is to let it stay plugged in for charge. It’ll reduce to a trickle charge and keep the cells capacity levels even. Anyway you’ll be fine. Any way to fix a yellow breathing light with 3rd orange light?

The only time I’ve ever experienced the yellow light it’s when the battery connection to the board came loose? Good luck and thank you
Yeah, from research they say it can't be fixed and all the usual stuff.
However, if it's been put together it can be repaired.
The real problem seems to come from the software on the battery management system. Even if i fix it, it won't work.
On my replacement i had to reset by shorting 2 memory pins together, it worked and didn't have issues.
I tried this method on the other battery with yellow breathing code, didn't do much.
I'm not savvy enough to diagnose electrical problems or fix battery cells. But i think it can be done.
The code says it's a safety for overheating. But the methods suggested (cooling and then charging) don't work the board doesn't do anything besides showing the code when plugged in, no response when pushing the power button when unplugged. This is why i tried the reset.

Sorry to hear about that. It’s caused by the cells becoming unbalanced. I’ve heard of some rare cases of just leaving it plugged in for a week or so and it’ll balance but that never worked for me. Contact the boosted guys and they can reset it or if your interested in a replacement. Either way I would get the amnesia chip installed to prevent it from happening again.
I bought a used battery from Boosted Guys, but within three months I got an RLOD error.
It's the worst.
Sorry to hear that. Did you contact them? I would always advise getting the amnesia chip when buying the battery and l keep the battery plugged in trucks charging as much as possible.
I sent the an email haven't gotten a responds are they still operational?

Just buy a Meepo board and save yourself all this stress. There is a reason Boosted Board went bankrupt! Junk product.
Haha yeah if I was to buy the Meepo I’d be looking into the Hurricane Bamboo. That one looks the best for me. But anyways this video is meant to support those that already own the Boosted and experiencing the RLOD. I have to disagree with the junk product. In my opinion even out of business Boosted is still one of the best out there. They technically went under for a few other reasons but whatever, they did need to close down.
