You actually inspired me to get the revel kit with your earlier videos about it. I am getting a 2nd Meepo NLS deck tomorrow and definitely planning to put the kit on it to try out the difference. Playing deck roulette with the Revel kit is quite fun! I have my eyes on the Loaded Vanguard next for the boosted experience.
I use the loaded icarus with my kit. It's a blast.

Thanks to you I have 3 electric longboards now. No regrets. My 3rd board is a DIY. 45 mile range. I'm sure I can beat my record when the sun returns. Torque boards direct drive. I adore it.

So if I have a long board with bear trucks. I can still use the front truck? and just replace wheels and replace rear truck with revel kit?

My Revel kit should be in later this week. Every good deck with a kicktail that can fit two Revel kits (4WD) is out of stock though... so I guess I'm going to be stuck for a while. Trying to get a 37" or 38" deck... short enough to be maneuverable, long enough to be stable.

Hey Ronnie! Great video - I bought a Revel kit with two long-distance batteries after I watched your review of the kit and I love it. I've tried it with different board and bushing combinations but my favourite is the Loaded Dervish deck (Landyachtz Dinghy was just insanely dangerous). Have you tried many different bushing combinations? I found the Loaded Nipples to be too soft!!
I've only used the standard bushings and purple nips. I haven't really felt the need to swap em out

Heyo Ronnie Mabye make try making an AT board with a hub motor diy kit, I can’t think of any hub motor kits off the top of my head but yeah it’s a potential idea

Great change up on the video content. Sweet looking set up and nice top speed👏👏👏👏 At plus 25mph wouldn't a drop through deck be a good option. Lastly 83mm on direct drives! You're looking to destroy the casings then😆 Abec refly 90mm or 97mm on DD 👌

if you put the meepo nls belt motors, youll be another step closer to boosted clone since they use the same motors as boosted (and i think wheels)

@@Grail3X look at replacing the cells for ones that have higher capacity, or see if you can fit 21700 cells with a spacer to raise the casing a little for the bigger cells. change the casing for a custom one that can fit more cells. so much can be done

This video really makes me miss the revel kit and being able to swap decks and wheels all the time. That was a surprising top speed and with only 85mm wheels too.
Yeah I am super surprised at the top speed. My kit can barely crack 25mph with 105mm Cloud wheels on. I am trying to get it fixed and the Revel support team is super helpful about any issues I've had.
@@sadab1.0 The speedometer on remote runs slow. Mine too tops at 25mph but real speed is more like 27-28mph as measured by mobile apps
What happened to your Revel kit J D? Did you sell it?
@@BadC0 agreed. The ride app and Waze always showed I was traveling faster than the remote showed.
@@Mr-E. I wanted something with longer range without having to buy another XR battery. Found a deal on a Verreal RS, sold the revel kit.

Hey Ronnie, can you try the Revel kit on the Backfire Zealot deck? I have Revel kit and I like the composite Zealot deck and being Backfire is not going to start using a direct-drive motor anytime soon. I would like to know how that board would do with the Revel kit. I might want to get just the deck if you think it handles well.
itll be pretty similar to this. the zealot deck is just slightly bigger and of course different shape. try it out!
@@RonnieSarmiento Size and shape would make it different and you already have the deck and the Revel kit. I would have buy a Zealot deck to try it and if I don't like it, I just waste $200.

I think I get 7-9 per battery. Splashes are okay, but no electric skateboard should ever be called waterproof

My advice to you; stop watching electric skateboard videos! They make you want one so bad. I'm literally saving for one right now because of these vids. If you can't get them in your country then I can imagine it would be hard to satisfy that empty feeling you feel you need to fulfill with an electric skateboard.

@@IbrahimKaisyVlogs @BJC T Hi friends, i would suggest to start with a surfskate o LDP settup first. its fun, you can conmute, you can do some uphills cardio workouts, it will keep you bussy meanwhile you get an electric one, and when you do, you will be more prepared so you dont fall and get hurt. regards!

I can't figure out why two tail skaters don't do this...why does it seem to be long board most of time? Control? I've skated for 20 yrs and I'm about to make it electric. Really baffles me. 😅
