If you're new to ER but coming from old Dark Souls, one thing you might wanna try that is overlooked by players like you, like I was, is jumping attacks.
There's a few items that enhance jumping attacks, but by themselves, the concept of dual wielding relatively heavy weapons and just spamming the jump attack is surprsingly effective, more than you'd imagine.
I'll try out jump attacks, thank for the tip!
Glad you started playing Elden Ring, loved it. It was my first souls game i ever tried and ended up beating it all after several hundreds of hours.
It was a refreshing game after the live service games rut i was in.
Hades 2 & No Rest for the Wicked were already refreshing after playing so many live services in the past few years. But Elden Ring feels like a feast, there's so much here and it's (almost) all excellent!
I was surprised by the quality of the story. In true souls-like fashion, its obscurely hidden throughout item descriptions and other small bits of text, but its also accessible at face value via the dialogs you have with other characters.
There's also a lot of quirky characters, more than I remember from previous Dark Souls games.
Thanks
You're welcome!
I always wanted to play souls game, they sound amazing but i feel like they'll be too frustating to get through and i'll give up after some hours. Do you think elden ring is a good start for someone like me?
I think Elden Ring is an excellent place to start! Remember you can use summons or get help from other Tarnished if you're struggling.
