The F150 has an oil life percentage that tells you how much longer you can go on your oil (as long as you reset it correctly). It is part of Ford's intelligent oil life monitoring system.
To reset it the steps are simple and anyone can do it if they change their own oil or the dealer forgets to.

Does the oil life reset screen always pop up after getting an oil change?
It does not. You need to go in and reset it after an oil change.
@@SmackeysGarage OK thanks. I asked because on my 2018 it's always poped up on my screen to reset except for the last time I changed the oil. Kinda confusing.
How many miles does 100% equate to.
I can't get out of that screen. I want to see mph gauge.

@@skool53 that’s crazy. I just checked mine and I can go back. Maybe you found a glitch or something. It stays there even if you shut down the truck? Worst case scenario you could disconnect the battery
