Thanks for the video brother! My passenger side tail light had a crack and when I took it to the car wash it got full of water. Few hours later after the car wash I drove from Houston to Odessa about 8 hours without any electrical functions and A/C in the middle of summer time. Found your video and removed the tail light and found it full of water! Thanks man!
So after drying everything and you put everything back together was the problem fixed and the BLIS operational again? Dealership is quoting $1,100 for a new tail light and module plus $300 for installation which I think is a robbery.
@@peprgoodz ... Thank You!! My problem just started yesterday. Everything you stated too. Gator Ford Service Advisor stated he has been with Ford for 15 years and never heard of the problem. Liar!!! --- You fixed my problem with a 10 minute video...... Kudos & BZ.
This happen to mine. All the lights in the rear went out, brake lights including (minus cabs third brake light). It went away on its own somehow so I didn’t bother anymore. A month later (yesterday) it did the same thing. I’ll try and replace the module and make a video showing everything
I have a mustang gt 2017 it’s says blind spot fault but the problem it’s went I put the reverse the a/c turns off and the tail lights too I don’t know if you can help any idea
I'll just add my comment to the rest and say THANK YOU! This fix worked. I had a cracked tail light and assy and will have to replace it, but drying it all out, cleaning the sensor mount, connections, and gasket did the job. I put some packing tape over the cracks until I can get the replacement. Thanks again.
Bro I've been having this issue for a year. Just took out the fuse and lived with it. Tomorrow I'm digging in deeper into the assembly. I was a little worried about taking the radar off.

Did cleaning it up fix the issue, or was the module damaged by the water?

Were you able to get it to work just drying it off or buy a new module? Looking at these modules they cost about $800!
After I dried it, it worked and went back to normal.
