I'm redoing my house and want to use pallats for flooring. I've never broke one down before. This video was very handy. A lot of pallets are madd from oak. Can't wait to see the end result
I think it's worth mentioning that when you're using pallet wood to build things there's always that possibility of missed metal in the wood. I use one of those handheld metal detectors off amazon for like $20. The nails aren't what I'm talking about though, it's the little piece of wire that holds the strips of nails together in a nail gun. Sometimes you can pull the nail and it will leave that piece of wire in the wood and it's not always noticeable. Just a little tip I guess. Cool project, nice video too!
@@ScottsGarage17 I had a 67 way back when, a rear ended 66 fastback that I redid and this one which started out as a rust bucket quite a few years ago. Always wanted a 69 or 70 fastback but at this point they are basically priced out of the market even for a basket case....

Love this!
Looks very nice!
Friendly helpful tip! When I break down pallets, I use my reciprocating saw. Smooth like butter, then just tap out the nail heads!
Very nice!

WTF You didn't show how you cut down the pallet? Hyper drive does not do it for me. Adios
Hate the fast forward. Good grief, I don’t want to watch you; I want to know how to do it! Waste of time!
