- In this video I show you how to break down a pallet and re-purpose the wood to make this attractive planter box.
It is my own design. I had the pallet behind my shed for a year so it did not cost me anything.

Love your work taught me alot thank you.
Cool design!

you just can't beat free wood, especially with todays prices. With a little bit of creativity and youtube videos like this one, there is no limit as to how many things you can build with throw away pallets.I normally go to my local lumber yard that have stacks and stacks of pallets, free for the taking.
nice job gave me a few ideas for my planter projects
Thanks for the tips
Great idea...
This was amazing work you did, keep up the good work!
I'm enjoying this information
Very nice just the inspiration I need to make a start once I can get hold of some pallets

Good stuff ay Mate !!!
Nice!!
Great job bud. I like the church signs too
Looks Awesome, Cheers From NZ
Great vids keep going
Enjoyed this. Have a number of pallets. Use a saber saw to cut through the nails so I get longer boards.
Great vid
Thank you. What a nice looking pallet planter! I really like the fact that you explain what you are doing with good detail. You are also pleasant and well mannered! I hope to see more videos from you.
Merry Christmas!
Roger
wow looks really nice :D
❤nice
Great work, just built a couple with fence pickets, chop saw,and Harbor Frieght circular and they look the part🤭😁
Great video. I managed to redesign some old pallets to make an outdoor workbench which features in my September 2021 video update on my channel about 1 minute into the video. I will be using it this summer for my gardening hobby.
Just about to replace my old one. Looks great. Thanks!
I’m totally addicted to pallets!
If you drive the nails on the stretchers in just enough to move, there is less chance of taking the heads off as well as easier removal of them. Good video!👍
terry W I will give that a try, thanks!
Great
Great job, turned on man's trash (pallet) into a treasure!
Great idea I want to stain mine
Not that it makes any difference to the design, but a good way of getting the slats off the 3 risers without sawing is to use a garden fork. If you put the forks middle gap between the tines over the risers and pry upward it comes off surprisingly well.
Yeah I just tried prying the panels off and thought I better watch Scott's Garage again. Saw was put into action 2 seconds later
i love your work but what could i build out of small ply wood pieces
hey mate, awesome video and design, what would you suggest sealing the wood with?
Nice job 👌. Do you have a link for the measurements plz 👍
Dude, we aren’t here for the home game experience
After you cut the camfer'd edges, show! I'm a rookie!😅
Should pin the measurements to top comment mate 👍
I build thought too
I learned from your page and been saling them
How long did it take to build this??
Stodoys has a lot of designs to choose from.
I have 80 some pallets to work with
Is it bad to just hammer the nails back into the wood?
I Wana win
Hey bud, good show up until you passed over how to do the most important part which is the bottom
Bruce Willis on diy....? Lol
Sounds like you have some air leaking
You explained how you were going to use the table saw how to make the half-lap joints. Don’t understand why you didn’t video the process.
He definitely explained exactly how to do it. It can also be done with a circular saw very easily.
Love the end result, very nice to see and hear an explanation of process too. Follow me on Instagram if you want bud #markys_pallet_builds.
My eyes can’t get past the pattern in which you laid out your overlapping end joints… too random 🤷. Otherwise, great project!
When is the USA going to mature into using metric. Even technology from 6000 years ago has been shown to use metric!
Metric is too easy!
Very good but no good to me as I don’t have a table saw. I’ll carry on making planters with saw, hammer and nails
Awesome
