Hi, it doesn’t tastes like lentils. Yes, same as normal bread. I made sandwiches with those. Specifically my son enjoyed it. I’ll make sandwiches recipe with this bread and post video 😊. Thank you for your query 🤗
In one of your video shots you ssid transfer to a baking tray, then, in the oven, it looked and turned out like it was baked in a cake tin. What size did you use? Great recipe as I have a friend I'd like to make it for
Hi 🤗 Thank you so much! I have used 9.25 x 5.25 Inches baking tin. I am glad to know that you would like to bake it. Please message me after baking , how it come out. I would love to know 🤗🤗
I made this recipe. I had trouble because it was to liquid, so I added some corn starch, but that wasn’t working, so I had to add in a little bit of flour. I also added garlic powder and dry oregano, to give it a bit of a taste. I don’t know if I would make it again. I haven’t tried it yet, because I just took it out of the oven.
I was looking at this recipe and the consistency after leaving in the water and soaking then adding oil, then the yeast mixture just looks so so runny, I would personally think of allowing the lentils to dry out, I only use ecological everything, and it would be a waste of money. Yes adding Psyllium husk but it also seems maybe better also using dry lentils as a flour, that way you don't get the heavy liquid 😮😮. Many people have given it a thumbs up but not made it. Can people make it then comment? Also if you made changes what Changes you had to make...and write them here That way we can not all make same mistake. Love Gluten free recipes, but can become expensive as it may not be edible, although the one made in the video seems good it looks very spongy...More like a dense cake rather than a bread... Am happy to be put right for those of you that have made the exact recipe... Thank you
hi gluten are dense coz of starch when I make for my daughter flat bread (chapati /tortilas) I add a few items to make it soft no additives/yeast/baking soda coz she reacts to a lot of things trying out many times at last I got it right… Simply add potatoe powder and it softens the dough and also if it’s dense/hard steam it and you won’t believe the texture.. so soft and tasty Hope you enjoy
I will try this one let’s see how it turns and if my family will like…they are having an amazing palatable taste small and they make out especially if things are made from like lentil
Thank for your query 😀. I have tried with split Green Gram , split black lentil and red lentil only. In future I’ll try to make with others too then will post videos.
2 errors in your instructions that could mess up someones recipe. Please clarify, why 1 cup of lentil in the video and then 2 cup in the written description? The info there doesn't make sense. Also you say 1/2teaspoon salt in the video and 1/2Tablespoon in the written info. Thanks : )
Yes, measuring cups are two. Here in this video I have used a bowl which is not measuring cup and it’s big in size. People got confused so in description I have written measurements. I hope this will help you.
It seems like you used MORE than 1 cup of lentils. At least two…or even three… besides, what keeps the dough together because it has no gluten? Did you add psyllium or at least eggs?
Hi Yes, I don’t have measuring cups. So I used big bowl available. It is more than a cup at least 2 cups of measuring cups. Honestly, I didn’t add psyllium husk , no eggs or any gluten. Trust me if you bake it once your bread will come out as mine.🤗🤗 Thank you so much for you query ❤️
Baked the bread today. Used 3 conventional cups of red lentils. And enough water to cover it for soaking. It turned out very good. My friends appreciated it a lot. Thank you.
I just made the recipe with one cup like she said. The batter was a little loose when I put in the oven ( even some of the pumpkin seeds didn’t stay at the top) but it came out perfectly!! Thank you so much. It is a very easy and delicious recipe!

How much water you have added in it?
Try adding psyllium husk and you won't need flour
