Community Spirit - Quiet Walks (183)

On a walk through the market town of Ludlow, we found a community gathering at St Laurence’s Church just a few steps from the bustling town centre.
With the open day in full swing we were able to view this wonderful church which has maintained a tradition of public worship, stretching back more than 800 years.
As can be seen the church has beautiful crafted stonework, intricate carpentry throughout and spectacular stained glass, a real feast for the eye’s! On our visit, part of the church was taken over with an Art Fair, this with the Icon coffee shop and church shop both of a high standard certainly made it a great find.
