Is that why gymnasts have such developed upper bodies, especially their biceps? Almost everything they do is with straight arms (iron cross, rings, some floor exercises). Also, this sounds like the extreme stretching found in DC Training. Is that correct? Thank you for explaining WHY it works. Much appreciated

That indeed sounds like it could be a big factor! However the biceps are maximally stretched only when the arms are behind the body.
And yes its basically the same as the DC thing! Although, if I remember correctly, they advise less TUT. Dunno for sure tho.

I would also add other techniques that have been lost to modern lifters. Straight arm lifts, sissy squats, pull overs, so much of what the early era lifters used to do before the advent of benches and racks.
Think about it this way. In old physique culture books you find the records for straight arm chest fly lying on the floor was 100lb each hand.
They didn't have huge chests but their arms were far more developed than most lifters.

Back levers are insane for bicep development. Especially back lever curls. @@JorisWeima

Ive been doing 15min of loaded stretching at the end of every session for awhile now. Really keeps you feeling relaxed and explosive outside of your workouts

Should the total TUT be a bit less for a Neurotype 1B (or 1A or even 2A for that matter)?

Hey Christian how do you think of this method with how Jay Schroeder uses it? do you think the 5 min holds give the best results and do they actually strengthen the whole range of motion proportionately like Jays says? Jay once claimed he could hold an extreme iso push up with 250lbs on his back for 5 mins

Sounds similar to how/why dogg crap training is so good. That last 30-60 second eccentric loaded rep always seemed to be super effective.
