Thank you so much for posting this. I’m crushing with the London, but my full backs were when the position they’re queen to take the left side, which now I know to place the rook there to protect it, and not being able to bring my second bishop out because their bishop is already in place (bishop to f5). And now I know to be flexible with that bishop before bringing it all the way up. Great stuff thank you!

Judit Polgar once said that Magnus is extremely dangerous with his knights, so one thing that you have to do is swapping his knights. I am not surprised that he took a decision by entering endgame knight vs bishop and he simply outplayed Kramnik with his knight play in more or less equal position.
Kasparov and Fischer were bishops lovers, but Magnus is a dark knight master.

4:13 that's impressive because you'd think the best outposts for the knight should be c5 and e5, both controlled by the bishop, therefore white should have the worst minor piece. But together the Rd2 and Nd3 work great along with the pawn chain while the bishop has no target.

The surname *Kramnik* sounds as the most lethal in chess history to me, even more than *Kasparov* , which sounds rather "powerful" instead, but as in an energy-related kinda meaning.
Now, if considering not only that last name but first name too, *Magnus Carlsen* sounds like "skillful". So, metaphorically, "Kramnik" would be a hitman, "Kasparov" a fighter and Magnus an armored warrior.
Note: I thought about this metaphor *before* Antonio published the video titled "The Perfect Warrior".
P.S.: "Ding Liren", if wrote *this* way, sounds like a ninja. lol

Agad perfectly explained london system: it is not dangerous in itself, it is what you do with it. I am opposite example: I know only opening by heart, but due to my poor rating (around 1800 in classic) I dont have an good idea what to do in the middle game, so london doesn't work good form me in classical time format because my luck of strategy. But I discovered its purpose in 3 min. blitz and especially in bullet vs my league alike opponents: I spit out the whole opening (around 10 moves) in 3 seconds and because the london is such solid opening and lower rated players doesn't know by heart how to play black vs london (me ether:), they spent 30 seconds for opening and regularly lost on time in bullet. Of course, if I come across to higher rated player, he just smash me with my cheep "vast knowledge".

      v. v. Dude, London Bridge is actually a double-edged opening.. with white's slow manuevering setup but sharp attacks against black's countercenter play and solid challenges.. If the game reaches to endgame, black is slightly better but if white's setup is complete, assuming that black didn't put much resistance, white has a tremendous advantage.

Very well! Can you also present one of the alireza's matches in this tournament? He is hero in my country, not only as a cheese player, he is a brave peace activist! he recently quitted the Iranian flag in the tournament because the Iranian government does not allow its people playing against Israili in any sport. The government boycott tornoments when Israili are present.... Alireza decided to play under chess federation flag in this tournament! Very brave move and He will likely put in prison upon return to Iran! I wish him best luck!
