I was going to watch 'Damsel' with my wife but then I checked rotten tomatoes. We watched the first episodes of 'Shogun' instead. Glad to have my bullet time evasion validated by Ben's good taste.
1:26:20 what a rollercoaster. My heart was in my chest throughout that whole scrolling ordeal. Particularly seeing how close they got with some of the models XD
2:12:44 Ackchtually, “Wrong end of the stick” comes from the Romans where they used to use sticks with sponges on one end to wipe their arse after having a dump. So grabbing the wrong end of the stick would get shit over your hands.
Okay, I'm probably going to sound stupid here, but I thought the evil sith henchmen inquisitor guys were given helicopter blades as a direct result of ol' Palpy being a scheming bastard and introducing little flaws that only _he_ knows of so that if any of them would try and usurp them in the typical sith way, he would just go 'heh heh heh' and show them _exactly_ why their helicopter blades are stupid? I mean, they look impressive (... to teens, which is the people they _are_ after), but it may compensate for being inadequatly trained in the ways of the Dark Side or whatever excuse the writers want to put up. Like not having the reflexes needed to play baseball with blasters. ... Keeping in mind that the Grand Inquisitor _didn't_ use his helicopter sword as a dual-sided helicopter blade. And he was a trained Jedi at one point. Well in Rebels as far as I remember.
NgI, Tom and Ben's open-mindedness with modern media seems to backfire more often than not, if not downright leave them burnout with a franchise they used to Iike.
You can't watch movies with popular stars like Anya Taylor-Joy, Tim Chalamet, Zendaya or Millie Brown. The movies aren't made to be good, they're made to feature a recognizable face. Popular young star = red flag.
The overall point here is correct but the examples are completely off. It's the now middle-aged "movie stars" that are just in forgettable trash that exists solely to star them and cash in on that name recognition.
I am glad you guys dislike J. K. Rowling too! Anyone that created the trash that is Harry Potter should be loathed. I like her political takes though. Those are very sound and reasonable.
Tom getting so offended by J.K Rowling is hilarious. then he insults her. lol the irony in that is great. talk about being a hypocrite lmao. I 100% support J.k rowling. i bought harry potter the game to support her.
She never said anything that should even be controversial, people just got big mad when she said M-F trans people shouldn't be allowed to play in women's sports because it could lead to an unfair advantage, especially bad actors taking advantage of their "Identity"
@@TheSteveMeister the Yogs are too scared to get on the wrong side of the outrage mobs, just look what happened to Sjin and Turps, what they did was "unforgivable". You're not even allowed to talk about them, but they still make meme references from time to time, flax is string, anyone?
@@MrCunningham4 it couldn't possibly be that they are informed and disagree with you, obviously there must be some wacky explanation that allows you to continue to believe that nobody could disagree without being brainwashed

tom and ben having almost the exact same Rodrik Cassel Beard chat as they had like 2 weeks ago is hilarious
they’re just a pair of particularly well-crafted NPCs
I thought I was trapped in a loop
"ruined someone's childhood enough for one day" ...I think JJ Abrams did enough of that already. To my precious Star Wars and Trek.

At least Ben will be happy about the new Genestealer cult kill team
Fun fact, even if red visor is one, would still see red lightsaber. may not appear to have a color, but would still see the illumination of the blade
'ey! Imma gobblin' ovah 'ere!
It kinda blows my mind that red and green are considered high contrast colors
well, it is, until it isn’t 😅
Gob voddlin voddlin up this gob
Somehow, Darth Morris has returned.
