- We are Unboxing the WW1 Kit I used for my "We wore our ww1 GERMAN Uniforms to school" video. I spent quite a bit of money so we could get the entire WW1 German Kit! 1917 Movie.
This video was recorded several months ago also the reason my face is so shiny is because of the acne medicine I was using at the time lol

Hey man, just saying this as someone who is a WW1 German reenactor myself, I would HIGHLY recommend picking up an original Stahlhelm at some point, whether it is an M16, or M17, they are awesome pieces of history that are usable at reenactments and for display. They wear much better than repops as well. Also, unless you're going with an early WW1 Kit, I'd recommend darkening any of the brown leather equipment you have, The 98 pouches, shovel cover, jackboots (I own the same pair btw).
Well weren’t their soldiers that disregarded the order to darken their equipment?
Farb hessian antique is pure ass
Where would you recommend getting a decent quality 1916 helmet for a affordable price?
@@mig15bis44 It's all very unit specific, and for a basic kit, it's better to be the rule, rather than the exception. Apologies for the late reply!
@@804_grandstaff I do agree, but for just a pair of boots, it's a good stop-gap until you can get a better pair.

I will also agree the Picklehaube is just amazing, it also has amazing history.
Dude I just watched the Xmas truce of 1914 and got emotional!
There’s a M1 helmet coming in the mail. Can’t wait till I get it, I have the shirt, pants, canvas leggings, and shoes. Working on a ww2 United States Army uniform
I’m gonna wear it to school Monday, thanks for these videos! Keep it up
Where you buy it?
Haha I once wore my M1 helmet to school my Social Studies teacher said “I really want to hit your helmet but I can’t” overall was a fun day

Some notes from Germany. Stahlhelm means ,steel helmet' , so the Adrian and the Brodie are in german also ,Stahlhelme'. Then , Pickelhaube' ( pickaxe hood) is simply a nickname, the helmet was simply a ,Lederhelm mit Spitze' ( leather helmet with point), there had been steel helmets and ones made oft copperbased metall with a point, used by cuirassiers and other heavy cavallry being no dragoons , and also palace units like the ,Leibgendarmen'.
Hessen antique has AMAZING prices, I got a brand new 80’s polish gas mask in perfect condition for $13, everything is so cheap there, I order frequently from them and have never had quality problems (yet at least). Man the line has great stuff too, but its all so expensive. Either way, I love them both.
I wouldn’t trust mtl, I tried to buy a tunic and trousers from them and they just never sent it
Hessian antique is ass
Nice to see you’re back man, really enjoyed the old videos
It's very frustrating when you see a nearly historically accurate piece of kit with a modernized enhancement like those straps. You're clearly into ww1 and ww2 era, I would recommend if you have a PC there is a free game on Steam called Heroes and Generals. Good video, keep em goin.
Where do you buy all of this as on ebay I can’t find any of this?
love your "letter opener" lol!!!
damn! what awesome gear!!! that stahlhelm looks a lot better then many repros ive seen.
dont forget to do the sock roll before you put your ankle breakers on.
what? no kratchen?
Congratulations on 70k subs 👍
I like your unboxings keep it up
This is great! And can be a bit of a guide! 🙌🏻
8:34 - you never mentioned where you got those suspenders but great vid !
Nice knife, cool haul as well.
I loved this vid. I wanted to get my Pickelhaube but man those things are expensive, lol. Perhaps it'll be fun to have you on World Hatstory 101 someday for the Pickelhaube!
So cool :3
Looks like a cosplay unboxing, waiting for more x3
The King is back! :D
Hitler as a ghost be like damn this dude is rocking za German style
Wilhelm II*
great video, the items are amazing, i dont collect from ww1 i collect from ww2 dutch equipment. also i just wanted to say that the filming qualty is amazing.
I have also a german helmet and uniform but they're from WW2. Anyway you are historically accurated and properly informated, an excellent channel! Das Deutscherland über alles!
That’s some really cool stuff, I do ww2 airsoft. I was thinking about getting a ww1 American but it’s exspensive
Where would be the best online shop to buy these First World War German uniforms and kits? I've scouring the internet and I can't decide where to buy. Also thanks for the video. I thoroughly enjoy it.
I love the cardboard box opening it sounds like ASMR
the only problem i have with "man the line" is that some things they say they have, they actually dont and you never get it (example my c96 stock that i ordered during the middle of last year)
I love these videos!!
Where did you buy all this stuff?? idk i want them myself XD
I went to a military surplus store in Illinois, it had a *original* WW1 German helmet that was used in real combat. (I know what the German WW1 helmets were but I sadly can’t spell it, lmao)
pickelhaube, and that's very neat, a lot of pickelhaubes were brought back to America by soilders as war souvenirers.
Love your vids❤️❤️
Why do I feel if you knock off the “horns” it’s just a really big m42
Remember to grease leather and clean canteens. Ko cho line is an amazing leather grease, and use denture tablets to throughly cleancanteens.
Yea the denture tab is a good idea but I had a 1942 us canteen and it had calcium build up in it so i used denture tablets and also you can put steel bbs in it and shake like a mad man and I got pretty clean
I have one of those. Wore it to Walmart. great fun. I also have a ww2 Japanese military cap
HAY WERES THE GERMAN BEER!
Quick question, im planning to buy my tunic and trousers from Hessan Antique for a ww1 german infantry impression but on trousers its got 32 - 42 and tunic 36 - 52. What do those numbers means because I'm used to seeing specific measurements but idk if its just the main size that counts.?
they give sizing charts just look around
you should get one of those canvas hoods for the picklehaube they were adopted pretty quickly in ww1
Pickle haube nice them things cost a lot.
And how much did all of this cost in genral?
Also my only ww1 era item is a 1912 Chilean knockoff m95 bayonet with the scabbard it's in decent shape but shows its age and use.
“Long time since unboxing” oi you uploaded one yeaterday
FINELY! Some one who agrees with WW1-2 stuff smelling nice! Edit: I agree with with jack boot being so good.
f i ne l y
Echt coole Videos weiter so kamerad 👍🏽
Hello friend, I'm new to the channel, sorry for the question, but where do I find these objects to buy? i'm brazilian and i don't speak / understand english :( if you can help me i would be grateful for that.
Question: Where do you purchase these things?
Do a video on how to set up wwi gear please
Me and my friends are inspired by ur airsoft vids we made a ww1 trench and play like every 2 weeks
Definitely gotta agree with his claims for Hesse antique. I got the pioneer feldrock, and while it looks nice they did the same thing with the polywhattafuq, and it definitely has some gray issues. And I also got an iron cross first class badge which looked great!! Until I realize d that when I ran my thumb over the black finish, it all rubbed off on the W. But it’s fine right? It’s shiny it’s whatever. 7hrs later I hear a “tink” on the ground, and there it is. The pin holding it on my uniform, BROKE the same day I got it. And I couldn’t return it because their shitty patina rubbed off. They’re over priced too. Pretty self explanatory
7:03 I have a question, are not WWI German helmets supposed to come with a leather case?
So what website or what all do I go to to bye all this.
Can I get a link to where you got that repo of the picklehaube it looks nice
Hey country tactical hwo to long does mantheline take to process and ship orders in your opinion
your videos are the best ;)
I wish I had been as cool as you at your age. I was a worthless troublemaker. You’re awesome, keep on sharing your interest with us please
Thank you, I will:)
On most canteens usually 1700s up you can change out the cork on the canteen
Yea like on my 1942 us canteen when I got it the seal was tin foil because the cork was missing so I took out the tin foil and put a cork gasket that I shaped for the cap of the canteen and it works great
Super cool looks great
“Very good conditioning.....I hate conditioning” I felt that
I'm getting a German uniform from like late 1916-1917 also where do you get these original german things like the belt buckle
Ebay and Militaria shows are your best friend when it comes to belt buckles, also, for 1916 onward, the beltbuckle would be Feldgrau, since the brass one's draw fire, same reason that the metal on pickelhaube was either covered or painted Feldgrau.
Love the vids bud! Wear did you get all this German uniform from?
Hessen Antiques, take a look at the box he’s opening with all the fieldgear 👍
What was your tunic size
Ok, this is epic
Where do you get all of this stuff
So where do you purchase this stuff?
Das ist ein perfektes Video!
Hey were do you get your uniforms and accessories from?
Where did you bought it
How would you attach those buckles?
Where did you get evry thing from
a very nice unboxing
Can the German pouches fit on a ww1 U.S belt??.
Hey there, where did you ordered the stuff?
“I can’t really lift this arm.” *takes biggest knife*
Kammerade do u have MP18 air soft?
Awesome stuff
I already know which side to choose in WW3
were did you buy this stuff
Get metal bbs and hot bleach water and put it in the canteen and shake it for a few min into it will be clean
and just asking is mantheline legit have you go from them
Man I wish the company you bought form put more work in there products but like I said in the last comment good video
Nice video Jerry
Can somebody tell me or give me a link to where he got this please?
3:22 this is actually from where I come from. Infanterie-Regiment „Graf Bülow von Dennewitz“ (6. Westfälisches) Nr. 55
Would you ever sell the Tornister?
Hessen Antique has some very good reproduction products. I wish it was cheaper, then I would be using it as my clothing store.
Where do you get this stuff?
Where do you go the German uniform like pants and tunik and where you got the pickelhaube and the Stahlhelm
I’ve always loved the spikehelmet wait if the normal helmet is a stalhelm does that mean this is a spikehelm
It’s a Pickelhaube
Where did you get the stalhelm
You should see about getting those boots dyed Black.
how do you get those stuff
Gottverdammt that's crazy
I'd like to know where the hell you bought all this stuff
Where did u buy this
GOTT MIT UNNS means ‘god with us’ if you were wondering
Where you buy it?
I wonder how much the uniform costs cause I want me one
Sehr schön!
the other reason the british and the french got trenchfoot more often is because they had the lowground
and there trenches where far less even in 1917 still just temporarely whilst the germans had deep concrete bunkers with electricity and running water
