For some more cargo space, I recommend heading to New Homestead on Titan and replacing the cockpit with an identical looking one that has a higher cargo capacity. It has a vastly better cargo/mass ratio than cargo containers, so it makes sense to start there.
I tried the various crew modules that could replace the “Frontier” module… Doh deleted it & coulbdt buy it back. Crap. So don't do that. It's the best, with that nice holo table for planning jumps. I added 2 berth variant compartments to extend the hull, with all 6 crafting tables. That is Worth! Added the Captains berth, which isn't that great aesthetics but need a private area for pending crew wedding… lol. Add 2 more of the upgrade engines in this video. Yes 4 engines. Added 2x 320 cargo modules, now it 1090. Can add 2 more of same but Need the bigger reactor 1st… Can upgrade to a 520 shield when I unlock it again. And a 4 crew cockpit which is huge & spacious.
Yep, I upgraded the starter ship pretty much exactly this way in the beginning of the game. Shortly thereafter though, I did the Mantis quest, and used the Razorleaf as the foundation for a much more significant ship. At that point I was able to use Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojectors having joined the Vanguard. Those use only two power each allowing me to put SIX of them into a single bank. I have not found an enemy it can't destroy in seconds now.
Awesome video, thanks. I was trying to upgrade the cargo on the starting ship and after an hour i realised I didn't have a clue what I was doing lol. I figured I'd just earn money and buy a different ship. Your way is much cheaper!!
The Lodge has pretty much all the production stations in the basement right on top of each other. Of course you can add them to your bases as well. @@sndsiwrite
Yep, I did the first two rank equals in the sim. Now working on rank 4 equal, and I'm just letting my Wamted bring me plenty of BH to kill in space. 19 in 3 days, lol!
Thing is you can't sell the starter ship so a lot of people want to modify it so they don't a a total turd of a ship in the collection. At least that's how I am.
also i can fly a class B ship with out the skill lol. and then upgrade to class B modules. did it last night when a bounty Hunter came for me, stole his ship and dam was it a good catch.
Right. They all end up in the same group. It gives you a yellow warning, but doesn't stop you from accepting the build. I put 4x 13 shield 13 armor damage electron beams on. Caps at 12 power. Can you imaging hitting for 42 dam at 3000 meters? Yep. But I need to find a bigger A reactor to run shields and drives at max, lol
@@TheDutchActuary i just learned a new player doign tutorial on KREET can land many times randomly on Kreet surrface and do some random POI for XP and for credits.. thanks to this i am now 50000+ credits and lv5 before leaving kreet
I decided to discontinue early on (despite starting pretty excited) it because I didn't feel it made for good enough content. This game is all about immersion and tiny little details - Which is hard to capture properly in an edited youtube video, unless I make 1h+ episodes. The game is a LOT more suited for livestreaming.

Great tip!

Exactly what I have on the upgraded Frontier - 2 power / weapon is just insane. Enemies 10+ levels above me are simply melting.
This is a REALLY straightforward and useful video. Thanks! 🙏

I recommend the Titan line of fuel tanks. They have a better fuel/mass ratio.
Bravo! well done!
Rank is easy upgrade with the flight simulator in Vanguard, part of UC.
If you want to do production need the med lab and other production ones since I haven't seen any production location in stations.

Just do the mantis quest as soon as possible, and edit the mantis ship adding more particule beams.

Very informative vid. 🙂

Nice catch indeed!@@peachesjnr
You can not have the same type of weapons in W0, W1 and W2
You don't need to, you simply fire them all at once when linked to one of those.
Right. They all end up in the same group.

But you can have variants of the same, like turrets, auto, manual etc.
NO WAY A NEW PERSON FRESH FROM KREET HAVE 49000 credit s
If you pick up some stuff from the starting planet and maybe do a few quests, you should be good. It's not that much money ;)

this must be EXPENSIVE , do you get credits by cheats / console edit
Nope, never cheat. Just do a few quests, this is really pretty cheap to do.
What happened to your playthrough?

I would appreciate a live playthrough from you nonetheless!
