You jamaicans glorify these ex So called beauty queens. As if they are above others. Look there are lovely women, all over this planet. She isnt unique in her experienced, vicissitudes of life. Never forget tbis, You cant Eat Beauty, and it is a Visa. No attractive women deserves any more. A charmed life than a lesser endowed woman.
As a counsellor who works with individuals who are subjected to different discourses of abuse in relationships, I must admit that Kamilla key principles of loving self , reflecting processing and becoming aware, will result in self actualisation. It also shared knowledge of how past trauma can resurface in the presence, such as her previous struggles, and lack of willpower to overcome her eating disorder. However, overcoming her past trauma, allows her to overcome the present or most recent. This was a mouthful and knowledgeable key notes, that can help others especially in a time when women are physically, mentally and emotionally abused daily. There goes a lady with a voice, that could become an advocate for other women in a country riddled with voiceless abused women. Well-done Yendi and Kamilla🙏🙏🙏.
Kamila glows differently. From within. She is so authentic. There is strength and healing in her vulnerability. Not just for her, but for others who are going through similar things. Such a nice blend of intellect, depth and creativity.
How does Yendi manage to bring out the vulnerability out of people? I am not watching an interview I feel honored to be listening to a conversation. So much growth and beauty. Thank You Yendi. I keep learning so much from each interview. Thank you Kamila You are so Strong 💪
I just said that, she has this thing that she does on all her interviews where she passes and give her well wishes and you can tell that this is not a journalist moment she is been absolutely GENUINE, and that’s how she manages to captivate raw emotions out of her guess
When someone heals, their story is easier to talk about and the experiences is shared so genuinely, that's what happened here in this interview. "It takes acceptance and awareness" of what's present in ur life; Balance your life, don't aim for perfection! GEM! Another beautiful episode Yendi!! Thank you!
This was a WORD !!!!! I was in an abusive marriage and it was not until I realized how my child was being affected that I found the strength to do what needed to be done.
I was in an abusive relationship and it was not until I realized how Toxic and Traumatic it was on my being, I had to find strength to do what needed to be done.... I am Strong, Resilient and a Learning Progress.....#Under Construction with God#
I would like to see an Interview Krystal Tomlinson , Kemesha Swaby and Juliet Holness. I believe these young ladies also have a powerful story to tell.
This interview is everything!! So much incite and so much to learn from this. Thanks Kamila for being sooo open and vulnerable in this moment. You are super woman, keep shining
love love love this conversation! The energy, vulnerability, the acknowledgment of God, the introspection. We all can learn something or reflect on ourselves and our past....and know there is a better day and brighter future. Peace and blessings Kamila and Yendi.
It's called doing your SHADOW WORK.....addressing those deep dark inner feelings you've repressed, so that it won't come back up to affect you later in life....
I always thought Yendi was good at what she does. after this, I KNOW she is the best to do it. She gently guided Kamila into touching a chord in me that i will forever be grateful to her for. Excellent interview ladies!!!!!!!
Can I tell you girl, I’m watching and was like noooo she’s not going there…yes she is. An amazing interview because I had to choose me and break the cycle for my child.
Never judge people by just there mere appearances because sometimes we never know what they are going through.Life sometimes happens and that can be a little devastating but I can tell anyone that despite the obstacles.....there is light at the end of the tunnel.🙏🏽Just pray and keep faith
Kudos to Kamila. I have an even greater respect for her, the fact that she held her head up after all the adversity and she choose to break the cycle. #Kudos
This conversation really come full circle ⭕️ for me. I had to walked away from a marriage of 19 years because I didn’t want my daughter who was ten at the time to thing that was how woman should be treated. Until today my daughter is still dealing with all she saw, but I am telling you that was best decision I’ve ever made. It’s hard being with men who will not accept responsibility for their actions and seek the professional help they need to heal and live a productive life.. Thanks for sharing your story with us.. Stay sweet Kamila...💜🙏🏼💜
Kamila is so articulate and inspiring. Yendi didn't even have to ask questions, she just flowed. Thanks for your openness, keep motivating and empowering others.
Greatest gem from this interview is that we are all imperfect humans just trying to go through life's hills and valleys. Cherish every moment good and bad, it's a part of your journey of becoming, embrace it, love it, don't resist it, fight through it, forgive the ones who hurt you, they are dealing with their devil's too. See the good in the bad and evolve into who you truly are meant to be.
“It’s not about perfection, it’s about balance” A WORD!!! Miss Kamila you shared some great insight. Thanks for introducing us to this amazing woman Yens. Blessings to you both ❤️💛💚 BTW, the colors you guys wore matched so well. Did you guys plan that? It’s cute!!!
Love the tone of the interview. So beautiful so calm so deep. Great Job Yenz. Kam healing and forgiveness is everything. I said this to you on the gram and I will say it again, you are the epitome of a women who knows her value. Beautiful ladies, beautiful conversation
I just love Kamila. Thank you for sharing the undiluted truth; it brought with it so much incite that I'm so encouraged to do my introspection and start working on healing my mind. This was all I needed!
Warning to all ladies...ABUSE in any form should never be tolerated ! Get counselling & assistance to heal all wounds of brokenness. Take time off from the spotlight to heal....!
Yendi and Kamila are kindred spirits, queens for whom we looked with bated breaths and prayed for them to overcome. These are queens who walked through the chatter and the shame and triumphed over adversities and never lost their royal dignity. These are women that I love and look up to and they are way younger than me. These are true beauty queens because their beauty emanates and radiates from within. I love you ladies and I am so proud of you both. Blessings 👑
This is filled with so much knowledge!!! I love this interview so much.. thank you yendi and thanks kam for being vulnerable and open and teaching us females how we should be treated and what we should accept... you are a true queen!!! Very insightful!!!
This was the most authentic, honest, eye opening, extraordinary, enjoyable, comprehensive, relatable, memorable, sobering interview I've listened to date. There are not enough words! I am so very proud of both of you, you both are truly inspirational, human beings and believe that your voices are greatly and desperately needed in the generation behind and before you.....oh if only we all knew the importance and liberation that comes with healing, it sets you on a path of not only self discovery and realization, it frees us from the burdens and stresses that slows us down and stop us from realizing and achieving our true potential. I ask on behalf of not only myself but for the generation before me and after me, please for the love of God do not keep silent! We need to hear your voices, there is healing in your voice!!! God bless you both and thank you for your obedience and transparency!

Yendi you need to be on prime time tv with your own show. … wow she is a Gem ,,,, both of you Queens should be teaching women empowerment to young ladies .
Thank you for being so open and vulnerable. You are a true inspiration. Lots of very positive affirmations and encouragement for persons going through tough times whether it is relationship related or struggling with other pain and trauma. Agreed... Nuff road deh bout! ....Love that bit that you said your body gives you little whispers and eventually screams cuz this is so true. Kids are truly a blessing. Its amazing that we find our strength through them.
Oh my gosh, this was so good I could listen to this for another two hours. I had my headphones on, repotting some of my plants. Everything was just right with the world. Thank you, ladies.🙌🏾🥰
This is such a heartfelt, deep interview. Thanks Kamila for sharing. So many women go through the cycle of abuse, pain and shame, and are judged for their choices, and truly believe that they should own the shame of it all. Nothing could be further from the truth. The road to recovery is a long one, but we keep moving on with our heads held high, and with wisdom as our guide.
Great interview - lovely reminder on overall balance and well-being. Continued happiness & success to you & yours (everybody who a read dis). Walk good.
Kamila is a beautiful woman..Jah cure is big waste ! If he could physically abuse this woman he will never find another gem as kamila ! Good for you kamila!
Law of attraction. Yes. It does my heart so good to see there’s people in JA that overstand this. This is something that I’ve been knowing about for quite a long time. I live in the US. Didn’t know that folks in other countries would know about these laws. First Jamaican person I found out was about this was Tami Chin. My hope is that more and more people not only in JA but around da world, learns about these principles and also starts the healing process. As more and more people do this the world will become a better place. And we will be coming from a place of love not fear. and hurt. Namaste

@@nekovero93 i also remember that intervview from the victim and just knew he was guilty. And yes, didnt understand her decision to marry him. I also dont listen to his music.
You spoke it into existence ✨ look at him rn now.
Very true about those quiet moments when your left with just you and your thoughts. Buried trauma needs to come out. We all need healing
Honestly, I have been waiting for this interview!!! Yayyyyyyy!!!!
A beautiful soul inside and out. Wish you itunual joy, growth and success 🤗
What a beautiful interview. Yendi, I've said this before but you create such a beautiful space in these interviews. The whole vibe just draws you in and makes you want to be a part of the conversation. Continued blessings.
