What a delightful and engaging man, he is like sunshine, just brimming with joy and positivity. Yendi this is a story that needed to be shared publicly….thank you.
I don't know Quinton personally, but, I really like him. So happy he survived to be able to share and motivate like this. He truly is a LIVER.
Hi yendi, great interview. Prostate cancer need more awareness in Jamaica to eradicate the stigma.
I can really relate am a breast cancer saviors at ages 34 God is good all the time, and my story is a testimony
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
He who has an ear to hear let him hear. I like how positive and open he is, his attitude definitely aided in his recovery.
Powerful story. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was caught early and he did radiation. Challenges developed later on and eventually he died. Sharing this story with my brothers so they can know how to take care of themselves should this repeat itself. Thank you Yendi and blessings Quinton.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great story I just hope we men in Jamaica and the whole diaspora take heed to the warnings
Thank you
This man gives me strength cause I'm going through a lot.
🙏🏼💪🏾
Wow this talk touched home for me. My dad developed prostate cancer and I was so so sad and hurt, thank God he had a great doctor who walked the whole family through the highs and the lows of what to come. You are so right all men should get tested, and your also right when you say it's not a joke, it so serious, it's a life or deaf choice. Thank you for sharing your life's experience.
Love his positive spirit and for bringing more awareness and encouragement to our men (and women because the women should be encouraging the males in their lives to get tested).
Mr Yearde, I am soo proud of you !!!!!! You taught me in college and I’ll never forget your teaching. Thanks for the impact ! 👍
This is so powerful and I'm so happy that Quinton can openly speak about Prostate cancer ! This is a true awakening!!
Wow. Yendi this series is such a blessing!

Awesome video Yendi! What a great lesson and advise to not just our brothers but to us sisters!❤️
Such an inspiring story. My favourite quote from the episode: "Vulnerability is strength." Such an amazing courage to speak on a topic like this with such openness.
Welcome to Beauty in the ashes once more. Great stories each week. Yendi you’re a blessing in our lives.
This mans spirit is lifeeeeee, i love him and dont even know him personally, may almighty wrap you tight in his arms sir....live long.

This is such a powerful and informative story!Knowledge is power !
This is an inspirational message to all men - by taking your health in your hands you are showing your wife and/or partner and your family that health is wealth. My dad is a survivor while his younger brother died from it. Keep sharing the word - very proud of you
He makes me feel l can survive any situation
He is so positive, his energy is unmatched

Agreed!
What a fantastic guy! It is so refreshing to see a Jamaican man so open and transparent! So engaging!!! 🤗
Bless his heart, such a positive and impactful man! Yendi you are simply amazing!
Thank you for using your platform to raise awareness to such an important topic. Koodos to Wendy and Quinton.
Such a wonderful and informative interview. He explains things so well. I had to pause when he spoke about not having a CT scan in Jamaica, at the time land having to go to Miami. We have to do something about the healthcare system in Jamaica. Traveling outside of the country, while a viable option, it’s so out of reach for the average Jamaican and this makes me so sad.
His story was so captivating and down to earth that I forwarded this video to a lot of my male friends and family for them to get test and be more aware of prostate cancer. Thank you for a great interview.
Great advice from someone who lived it.Yendi you always find the most inspiring guests.Thank you.
Thank you for shedding a light on this taboo topic. My father in law passed away in 2007 from prostate cancer early dectiction is the key. xoxo
I crying listening to his testimony it amazing but the basic machines are not available in Jamaica not everyone can get a visa and that is the hard part God bless you and continue to share your story 🙏🏾
Such an informative interview...such strength amidst all the negatives
Can totally relate. My husband went through this
Thank you Yendi for brining this liver on, we need to dispel the myths.

There is power in sharing this story. I pray it helps to save a life. In the 1980s my paternal grandfather had prostate cancer and died from complications. My dad had it in his 60s and recovered due to early testing and treatment. I am sharing this story with the men who surrounds me.
Powerful message Quin and your warm and positive energy also helps you surviving this.
It is very good he has his dad to guide him through the journey

#Family🙏🏾 #CancerSucks!
Quinton! You’re are absolutely correct. My dad beats prostate cancer because he’s always going to the doctor to get checked and he caught it at a very early stage. He was cured from doing surgery. He didn’t have to get Radiation Therapy. Thanks for sharing and informing men to go get check. It’s important.
What a powerful testimony 👏 glory hallelujah 🙌

Yendi, you’re so beautiful!!! Inside and out. I was so touched watching this. My husband just recently battled this. Luckily he listened to me and had it checked out after I repeatedly saw him straining to pass urine. He can’t stop thanking me for saying his life.
Thank You, for airing this, shedding more light.

Powerful story. Yendi what a gift God has given you to discover and present these real life stories. Bless you 🙏♥
Staying on positive and staying focused and experiencing a good results
Thanks for sharing this! Trying to get my son to take better care of his body because both grandfathers and his dad passed away from prostrate cancer. He's only 33 and had to deal with several kidney stones issues which stems from too much driking. It's important to start taking care of yourself now especially knowing there's a family history. Stop smoking and cut out sugar. Sugar is a main cancer agent. We have too much knowledge now we have to be smarter.
Thank you so much for the comments. Deeply humbling. Much Much love and blessings to you all
I lift my hands to you in thanksgiving a Praise. My Dad passed away from Prostate cancer.
Condolences
Thank you!!
Early detection is better than cure! So refreshing to see a man come forth and speak positively and encouraging men to be tested. Great interview Yendi!

Inspiring story. Hope the men take heed.
My hubby was diagnosed with prostate cancer and went through the treatment 3 1/2 years ago. His urologist told us that it’s the leading cause of death in men in Jamaica. He told my husband to stay away from ackee.
I trust he is well.
Yendi this is such a safe space
🥰
🙏🏽🙏🏽
This was solid! Thanks so much for sharing.
.Hi Yendi another great . testimony of FAITH, FIGHT and FORTITUDE. However, as I listened intently to Quinton sharing, I couldn't help concluding that, here is a man with an excellent village of support, but, at the same time he was always privileged, TO THE RGHT HOOK UP. Our average Joe though, . .. who probably do not have a such a circle, mi nuh know. All I will round off by saying, is THANK GOD FOR JESUS and the connection at KNEE CITY. Gentlemen do your test and run with Quinton's campaign of changing our culture, as it relates to testing. Also, help to educate our men about the benefits of early detection and the dangers which can lurk in been unwilling to be tested.
Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. God has provided all my needs. Thats the privilege. Selah

Wow very powerful ,our people need to stop stigmatizing illness and that will save more lives men need to get their prostate and colon test done woman their mammogram and pap :: when I was diagnosed with MS all I could think I not even 50 years yet and was going to be in a wheel chair I never cried I took time to process and then I went UA-cam and listen to other people story and found what work and what didn’t and made a just so I understand when he said you need your groups because support is important
don't waste you worries good one mi Cuz
Wow wonder story and life lesson to everyone..because trust me some women do not want to do a namogram...but men need to get their head out the cloud and get tested...
