EXACTLY! I have come to the same conclusion. They claim to be the "chosen ones". Another sign is that will manipulate you and punish you if you try to leave. Look at any cult, Jehovah's Witnesses or Scientology. That's not salvation, that's evil.
Jesus Christ did establish a church. He did not create 30k different denominations of “Christian “ churches. It would be wise to figure out which Church Jesus established and go there. Rejection of the church that Jesus established is rejection of Jesus.
@@MrWeezer55 Because IF you love Jesus more than anything, you WOULD devote yourself entirely to finding His truth, His words and His Church, His Bride that He established, loved, and gave His life for. When you die and you face our Lord, and He goes to you, “Why didn’t you seek the truth? I gave you a lifetime of searching to find my Word.” I have no idea if that will bode well for anyone who actually did have the opportunities throughout his/her life to be a part of His Bride, the Church.
May I humbly ask you to provide a passage in the Bible which says that a believer will go to heaven when they die? I haven't been able to find one in almost 50 years of Bible study.
@paulsccduff to me I believe that being in the presence of God is in heaven the Apostle Paul tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord
@paulsccduff Revelation 22:1-5 NKJV - And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
@paulsccduff John 14:1-4 NKJV - “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. “And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
@nicolechannel3302 this is becoming a big problem in many mega churches:Leadership using spiritual abuse to maintain and manipulate power and position!
Indeed, false accusations should not be put on any "anointed" ones. However, if any of them are in the wrong, they are to go through the same steps as said by Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:15-17.
@@jtomally9681 "Indeed, false accusations should not be put on any "anointed" ones. " There are no "anointed" ones in the New Testament. Those that are in error are to be rebuked publicly. That passage is specifically talking about elders. 1 Tim 5:20

The early Church called themselves the Way or the Brothers, etc. Agreed we need a new term like Followers or Wayists or something better than I can come up with.
@@ashleywilliams1060 It was called "The Way" and the term "Christian" was coined in Antioch. Acts 9:1-2 (CSB) 1Now Saul was still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord. Acts 11:25-26 (CSB) 25Then he went to Tarsus to search for Saul, 26and when he found him he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught large numbers. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
Yep exJW here also. Yup. Preach it 🔥🔥🔥 Read the Bible and study. Let the Holy Spirit teach you all truth. 1 John 2: 27. You will recognize heresy immediately once You know the scriptures. ❤️
Explain Ephisians 4:11-13 to me then. If the "Holy Spirit" is supposed to teach you all things, why did Paul, the scion of the Christian church, teach the 5-fold ministry needed for the perfecting of the set-apart ones, until we come to the unity of belief in Yeshua HaMeshiach? What is the purpose of those people teaching if you say the Holy Spirit does all the teaching? To me, that is yet another bellwether of a church to avoid. People who say the "Holy Spirit" will teach them don't know scripture, and will be led astray.
@ashleywilliams1060 the Holy Spirit works through people to. God created all things. So why wouldn't he use his whole creation? He is omnipresent and omnipotent. And controls all. It comes down to a matter of faith. ❤️🙏✝️🙏
Agree 💯. As an ex-Catholic I cringe every time a Catholic or anyone says this to me. The Calvinists claims the same "special" choosing, their election to heaven while the reprobates (the non-elect burn in hades, including unelect infants). I am now Born Again. I am saved by faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who was crucified for my sins and the sins of the world. Who died and was buried. Who arose on the third day and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is coming back and His kingdom will have no end. My sins have been covered by His precious blood and are washed as white as snow. I wear His righteousness when I enter the throne room of God. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
@@CynVee First off I don't know what a Calvanist is and second I knew you wouldn't be able to actually back up your comments with facts and scripture. You just want to display ignorance and make derogatory comments. Election or predestination is scriptural and available to all. Here are just a few. John 15:16 "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you". [So you don't choose God. He chooses you. When you are born again, it is because God chose you. You don't get to choose the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That is sheer arrogance]. Ephesians 1:4-5 "Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will". [The Father, Son and Holy Spirit were all present at the creation "before the foundation of the world". And he "predestined us for adoption". Nothing to do with you, so that you "may not boast"] Acts 13:48 "And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed" [God appoints the elected or chosen ones to eternal life, not you. You are just not sure if you are one of them. That's the problem you have. It has nothing to do with all the "isms". Its what the Word of the Almighty God says]. Romans 8:28-30 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified" [Once again "God calls you". Once again God knew before the beginning of time those who would be predestined "for those whom He foreknew He also predestined"]. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 "But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth" [Once again, "God chose you as the first fruits to be saved"]. 2 Timothy 1:9 "Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began". [Once again, God called us "for His purpose" and He did it before the ages began. Only the chosen ones are saved"]. John 6:37 "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out". [Jesus will not cast out the chosen ones. In other words the chosen ones cannot lose their salvation. The question is never "can I Iose my salvation?". It is "were you ever saved to begin with?". Just because people repeat a script read out at a production-line "born again" ritual in church (especially mega churches done up like night clubs and rock concerts with male strippers as happened recently) doesn't mean they are saved. Millions have done that false ritual and are not saved simply because they do not really believe ("by their fruits you will know them"), they never genuinely repented and therefore the likelihood of enduring to the end is highly unlikely. (Matthew 24:13-14 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved"). John 6:44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day". Revelation 13:8 "And all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain". [Once again, the chosen ones are "written in the book of life of the lamb" and it was done "before the foundation of the world"]. I don't know what Calvanists believe, but they certainly know their scripture about the chosen ones and predestination. I'm a Christian first and foremost before any "ism" and it looks to me like Calvanists have got it right.
@JohnSmith-zo6ir so I am the one being derogatory 😆 TULIP is very easily disproven if you care to understand the non-Calvinist explanations. You claim not to know what a Calvinist is but list all the typical Calvinist Scriptures to "prove" the Calvinist claims of predestination and election. No one is claiming these Scripture do not speak of such things, but they do not mean that some are chosen as vessels of mercy and other vessels of wrath. Regarding infant damnation, not all Calvinists hold to it but James White does. Just take a listen to one of his most contemporary videos. I am not a determinist--I believe in free will. I start with the foundation of Christian faith and that Jesus is the Christ Son of the living God. Which is what Peter uttered in Matthew 16:16-18 then our Lord Jesus stated that Peter was blessed because it was God the Father, that revealed it to him and that confession is the Rock which Jesus said I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. We should not trust in man but God only because trusting in man is a curse. Jeremiah 17:5
Therefore, Jesus gave the keys to the Kingdom of God (the Church) to Peter. On the Day of Pentecost, he took out one of those keys and preached the first Gospel message. Read what must be done of the one who would receive forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit. The second key was used when he preached the same message to the Gentiles.
@@jonlanier_ Which is the Lord's commission in Matthew 28:19-20, the responsibility of every disciple. That key he gave to every disciple not just Peter because it is the Spirit of God in you that will confess Jesus is the Christ!
Yes! I've had people to ask me before if they can be saved at home, to which I reply, "Absolutely. God is everywhere, and you can pray and repent anywhere."
It is standard Catholic doctrine that the Magisterium, not the Bible, is the final authority. One of the tenets of the Protestant Reformation that the Roman Catholic church strongly objects to is that scripture alone is the final authority on theological matters.
Because they teach that the bible is only true if it is in line with tradition. They mean the catholic tradition. So what it really means? Is if the bible contradicts it they change what the bible says to match what the pope says.

I don't think you can do that. What I mean is. I don't think you can just declare yourself saved, walk away from the church Jesus started. My husband and I were shocked to hear Pastor Redlin of the gigantic church of Pensacola Campus Church teach heresey. This is a Bible-teaching conservative church; yet, Pastor Redlin invited satan’s children to partake of holy communion. Communion is for the body of Christ alone, those who have been washed clean from their sins by the precious blood of Christ. Pastor Redlin stated something to the effect that if the unsaved feel there is nothing between them and God, they can partake. Well, there is much between the unsaved and God, it is called sin. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God as there is none righteous, no not one! Communion is all about the Holy Spirit’s presence living in the believer whereby he understands the ugliness of sin and Christ’s cleansing power through His sacrifice performed at Calvary. It appears we are in the last days of the apostasy.
Wow, that's pretty serious. He needs to be pulled aside and given a good talking to by someone or resign. Something is seriously off for any real preacher to do something like that. Makes me wonder if he actually reads his Bible and if he actually knows Jesus Christ. He dead sure is not walking with God in the truth.
@@randyd9805 Yes, indeed, Randy! This pastor teaches the Bible inductively and takes people through books of the Bible. Most of what he teaches is accurate. He appeared to be wanting to appease the deviant ones to a degree. Very strange. He also told a couple who were fornicating that we were most welcome to attend the church. God says Christians are not allowed to associate with the sexually immoral who say they are Christians. A little yeast corrupts the entire loaf of bread. He actually never attacked Catholics, nor did he go on a 5 minute rant about nothing, but gave the true gospel of Grace that is simple enough a child can understand. A friend of mine, a new believer, joined a Church of Christ and was told until she read the entire Bible thru and was baptized in their church, she wasn’t saved.
I have never heard of anything like this in 40 years. In the Church of Christ we baptized those who are willing to repent and be a faithful Christian. We read the Bible often after that like the Bereans did in Acts 17:11

When The Gospel is preached for the first time at Pentecost, the hearers ask "what must we do?" (Acts 2:37). Those who responded were added to the number of believers (vs.41) and they were dedicated to [that form of] the apostles teaching (vs.42) Peter does not reply in a way that supports what you believe. It is the Lord who saves and builds his Church (Matt 16:18)....true....but not based on someone's faith alone.

Where's the lie? I've had a church of Christ preacher take me from Genesis to Revelations proving that the doctrine they teach is the only true doctrine. It all fit. No violation of principle, everything rightly divided. No other religious organization has been able to do this. So, if you don't believe, why? Does God know what He wants? The Christian church has defined grace incorrectly. They merged salvation with eternal life and they are two different things. Grace, or favour, is merited, it's the actions you take. Mercy is unmerited, we didn't deserve salvation, but Yeshua gave it to us as a gift. Eternal life, as even described by Yeshua Himself in talking to the rich young ruler, is what you do. He said in John 14:15, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." Making decisions, your actions, is the reason we're all on the earth. He wants to see if you are the type of person He wants to live with for the rest of eternity, and your 70-90 years of life is the audition.
@@ashleywilliams1060 In Romans 3 where Paul says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus," How do you define grace as merited favor when Paul says the grace is a gift? One thing I noticed about John 14: Jesus does say, "If you love me you will keep my commandments." What he does not say is, "Prove you love me by keeping my commandments, then I will consider giving you grace." I've seen the saying: "The essence of theology is grace (unmerited favor); the essence of Christian ethics is gratitude." We are justified by grace as a gift (Romans 3). We obey Christ because, having received his unmerited favor, we love him (John 14).
We are saved by God's grace through faith. This biblical principle was taught by Council of Trent, and I am glad I am saved and becoming member of the church which reformed by that council.
@hoosinhan No one cares about what the Council of Trent says. The Bible defines grace through illustration. Look at Noah. The Bible states that Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. What did grace look like? 1) God revealed His plan to destroy the Earth. 2) He then provided specific instructions on how to be saved from the destruction. 3) Noah followed the instruction and was saved. Grace is everything that *G-D* has provided to aid us in salvation. Marriage is grace for some. The local congregation is grace. Preachers and teachers are grace.

Such an important word! I hope this message will drop before the eyes of people who have heard or are hearing this claim so they may be comforted, and so they may make their way out the door of the falsely exclusive buildings and leaderships, to be free indeed.
You're on the right track. Everyone was offered salvation, that is the free gift. Salvation doesn't guarantee eternal life, but without it, eternal life isn't possible. It's how we live, the choices we make, that determine where we end up. James said it in James 2, John said it in 1 John 2:3-6, and Yeshua said it in John 14:15.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 The gospel of salvation is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the propitiation for our sins through his blood atonement. It’s believing and trusting or putting your faith in the finished work of Jesus to pay your sin debt. Adding anything else is adding works, and we are not saved by works or kept saved by works. It’s not your righteousness that matters with Salvation, it’s Jesus’s righteousness. Ephesians 2:8-9 For you are saved by Grace, thru faith, not of yourself, it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest anyone boast. After Salvation, that’s when your works matter, that thru the Holy Spirit, and your submission and obedience, you are made into the image of Jesus. You are storing up treasure in Heaven for yourself. If you don’t submit and obey, you are still saved, you cannot lose what you didn’t earn, but you will suffer earthly consequences for not being obedient to the Spirit, like loss of blessings, loss of rewards in Heaven and maybe even an early death, but you cannot lose salvation. When you first believed and trusted the finished work of Jesus, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise as a guarantee of your inheritance.
The demons believe the facts but the do not put their faith in the death, burial and resurrection as the propitiation for their sins thru the blood atonement of Jesus.
@Jesusandcoffee3382 Yeshua's death wasn't for atonement. He wasn't a sacrifice. If He was, He would have died in the temple. His death was for one specific sin, intentional sin. They already had a system in place for unintentional sin.

Preach it brother. Absolutely God calls us to fellowship and lift up each other, together. Locally and as the Body of Christ. And I also agree, if someone says they are the only oath to salvation in Jesus as the "true church ", run!!!! Because what we know is, they aren't. I am currently debating a Hebrew Roots cult over this. They only have the truth, grace is overrated and you have to follow their formula and maybe you might one day get to heaven. But don't eat pork, don't mix fabrics, and you can only spell God's name their accepted way, etc... and all of this is salvation specific. They have a lock on the truth and you have to obey them. Ummmm, nope. The Tares/cults are flourishing in these times, for sure.
A church is two or more people holding up his name, every preacher saying sow a seed of money and get multiple back, that is something that just rubs me the wrong way.Give if you can, don't believe supposed to give so you get back.Tides ,not sure where in the bible that is.

Spot on Matt. I would also like to add that another type of church to avoid are the ones where preachers say you cannot criticize their teachings,ie they'll use the manipulative term ( do not touch God's annointed). This is rampant in many charismatic churches. Which of course are scripture taken out of context from the old testament. So these pastors set themselves up where they think their beyond correction.

The Roman Catholic Church is actually a fourth century invention. The origin of the Catholic Church is the tragic compromise of Christianity with the pagan religions that surrounded it. Instead of proclaiming the gospel and converting the pagans, the Catholic Church “Christianized” the pagan religions and “paganized” Christianity. www.gotquestions.org/origin-Catholic-church.html
@@jimbus4096 Exactly. The God of the Universe is… Universal. It’s only fitting that His Church would be named after the God of the Universe for His Universal community. One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church is in the Apostles and Nicene Creed. It’s there for a reason.
...if a church "prays out loud", & not in secret, to the Father who hears in secret, they have forsaken even the easy small things, to be a church belonging to someone else. If they are not willing to correct this "tradition of man", even with it being pointed out by Christ as "false", know that nothing else good is happening in that gathering. He visits with His own, & not with the "hypocrites". He fills their stomachs with gladness, but overturns the latter's tables, while the "wages of sin" are still being counted, within them, against one another. "Stop this, stop it now!" -The LORD
Jesus Christ founded only one church while He was on earth and named the apostle Peter as its head. If you don't get comfortable with that truth young man, you will be in serious trouble when you face Him on judgement day. I will pray for your conversion.
Well, no. You have to qualify that statement. You act as if the Church of Christ is a denomination. They are not. They are independent. And if you are speaking of the non-instrumental churches of Christ, make sure you clarify it. You have shared in a lie and it should be corrected.
@@jonlanier_Well said! Churches of Christ just follow the Bible like the early Christians and have weekly Lord's supper unlike most other churches cf Acts 20:7
Friend, you don't got to "church" for fellowship, you do not go to "church" to hear the Gospel read...you go to "Church" to participate in Golgotha....The continually offered Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, on the Cross for the Salvation of human Souls. The Son of God, founded ONE, True Holy and Apostolic CHURCH....He didn't start a social experience, He doesn't invite a single human into a "personal relationship"...He did establish the Rock, the Petrine Office, the Papacy for He mentions it, multiple times and it is on THAT Rock, that He builds HIS ONE Holy Catholic Church! In Heaven, not everyone claiming to be a Catholic will be, and many will come from the East and the West, but ALL with be Catholic!
Yes, indeed.... Right on brother. So true in what you have said here. I was never comfortable in telling anyone what or if I was in a certain man made religion, so I have always just told people that I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and this leaves no doubt as to where I stand in all the various religions.

Denominations are like shoe stores. Every shoe in them serves the same purpose, although some have tongues and some don’t. If a denomination centers around Jesus Christ and Him crucified for our atonement, giving us His righteousness, then that’s what we unite under, no matter what the other doctrinal differences are. We serve the same purpose of being ChristsChurch.

Ask Him. Ask God about these things and refer to the Bible. He will tell you what's for you and what is not. Apostles and prophets are very relevant today, but they are human, like you and I. You have to hear from God yourself and pray for discernment. I have been hurt by a prophet, but I still believe in these positions within the body of Christ.
@@TheRastacabbage That doesn't follow. Jesus created the invisible universal church through salvation, then delegated man to meet together aka visible church
The earliest Christians after the apostles taught in the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic church. You have rejected all of the Church Fathers and the church of the bible which was lead by the apostles and had bishops, presbyters and deacon. The church of the bible had councils and could excommunicate people. The difference between the Catholix claim of being the true church compared to Mormons and jehovah witnesses and church of christ is that they all came from America 100 yes ago and the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic church was founded by Christ 2000 yrs ago. God used this church to give us his scriptures, defend the Trinity, and defend the deity of Christ. You reject what you don't know. Show me some early church fathers that believed you
The historical evidence shows that Roman Catholicism started during the 4th Century by Constantine, who mixed paganism with Christianity. That’s why you won’t find many Catholic practices in Scripture, like praying to saints or worshipping the Eucharist as if it’s Jesus Himself. Who would you rather believe, God’s Word or men?
@@laurad2932 Paul clearly believed that the eucharistic was the body and blood of Christ and that it was a sacrifice. Go read 1st Corinthians. " When we eat of the bread is it not a participation with the body of Christ? And when we drink from the cup of the blessing is it not a participation in the blood of Christ ?" Paul says that we can die it we eat the eucharist is an unworthy manner. The church fathers believed this. Ignatius in 107 ad said not to associate with the docetists because " they obstain from prayer and fasting, and they don't believe the eucharist is the body and blood of our Lord " . He also called thw true church the catholic church because it had the fullness of truth. The apostles creed also doesn't come from the 300s. It comes from around 100 ad. It says there is one, holy, catholic, and Apostolic church. You can not believe in the catholic church but you have to reject all of the earliest church fathers.
@@nickynolfi833 Did the Apostles at the Last Supper worship the bread and wine? Of course not. Paul was speaking out against false teachers in his day, and later Ignatius would do the same. Ignatius did not call the true church the Roman Catholic Church, nor did he affirm the actual presence of Christ in bread or wine. Communion is a somber memorial of Christ’s sacrifice, and we should not take it casually, but it is not the actual body or blood of the Lord.
@@nickynolfi833 Seeds of Roman Catholic heresy: Tertullian (155-255) taught the authority of the church over Scripture and apostolic succession, celibacy for clergy, baptism for forgiveness of sin. Origen (185-254) taught allegorical method of interpretations, baptismal regeneration, and salvation by works and Mariology. Ambrose (339-397), bishop of Milan, believed the Lord's Supper was a sacrifice, offered prayers for the dead. Jerome (340-420) translated Bible into Latin, believed Mary was co-redeemer holy water, venerating bones of dead saints and praying to saints. Augustine (354-430) taught baptism and Lord's Supper were the means of salvation, the church is the only valid interpreter of Scripture, Mary was sinless, purgatory and celibacy.
@@laurad2932 Jesus said this IS my body, this IS my blood. The eucharist was the worship of the apostles. Ignatius did not believe what you say. He said where ever the bishop is there is the catholic church and where the catholic church is there is Christ. The docetists didn't deny that the eucharist was bread and wine they defined it was the body and blood. They denied the bishop. They denined the catholic church. Ignatius would not agree with you
How many true churches were there when the leading members were named Peter, James, John, Andrew, Thomas, James, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Simon, Jude, and Matthias?
I was raised Catholic, but didn't get Saved until 38-years-old. My mom insisted I was already a 'Christian' because I had already received 'the sacraments' and had been 'baptized' as a baby. I had to tell her, God doesn't have any grandchildren & she couldn't make my decision for Christ for me.
The sacraments are of God Himself. They are life giving. You have abandoned Christ in the Holy Mysteries, cutting yourself off from life. And yet you would have the audacity to dethrone Jesus Christ as judge and take His place and presume your own salvation? Shame on you, apostate. You are deeply in satan's thrall.
@@bigtobacco1098 Yea because the modern child is absolutely in submission to the will of their parents in 2024 (sarcasm if you can't tell). You act like there are no atheists who were baptized in the Catholic church
I say this as a Lutheran. The Roman Catholic Church is the true church. Im sorry but the reality is, is that there are protestant denominations that are wrong enough that they are no longer Christian. Mormons and JW have weird ideas about the divinity of Jesus, whether he was always god or became god. Calvinists have weird ideas about predestination. Even Luther, I think has left a damaging impact on Christianity with his "Scripture alone" theology. Scripture being the soul source of authority has led to the formation of all these strange denominations that continue to stray farther and farther from the original Christian church as time goes on. The Roman Catholic Church is the church that the apostles established. Its the church that gave us the bible. Protestantism didnt happen until 1200-1300 years later. The bible says that the holy spirit would guide the leaders of Peters church so that it would never be led astray. Where does the bible say that some thousand years later, only then the holy spirit would guide men like Martin Luther or John Calvin to create conflicting doctrine to that of the church set up by the apostles? Of course salvation can be found within other denominations, and if having perfect biblical theology was a requisite, we all would be doomed. However scripture and historical evidence points clearly at the Roman Catholic church as being the original, true church of Jesus and his apostles. You say things like this and people get comfortable with leaving their church and just calling themselves "believers in Jesus". Its damaging, people NEED to go to church. We need the eucharist, communion, confession, baptism. You can say your a believer all you want, but never bothering to take communion is rejecting Him. I make that point because there are a bunch of comments below of people saying that they dont go to church anymore for the reasons you make in this video. God Bless.

Hey, I went to that church for 13 years too long. I thought God had led me there, but it turned out to be very oppressive. Everyone was afraid to confront the pastor and get on his bad side, because he would berate them to the rest of the church. He alienated me from newcomers, warning them to stay away from me because I had different ideas about who could be saved and for how long, and I would bring up Scriptures to substantiate my position with the pastor. People were also afraid of telling him when they were leaving, because he would read their exit letters to the church and then stomp on them in front of the congregation and say they were leaving the faith. I finally left when he backed down on the advice he had given me to deal with my husband's abusiveness, denying he had ever said such a thing. I realized then I couldn't trust him with my vulnerabilities, and no help was forthcoming. After I left, my husband was brought back into his good graces, and he encouraged my husband to divorce me, since I had left as an unbeliever. Ouch.

Jesus Christ did establish a church. He did not create 30k different denominations of “Christian “ churches. It would be wise to figure out which Church Jesus established and go there. Rejection of the church that Jesus established is rejection of Jesus.
@@sanfordj59 Why do I have to 'figure out' which church your jesus established? Shouldn't it be obvious?
@@MrWeezer55 Because IF you love Jesus more than anything, you WOULD devote yourself entirely to finding His truth, His words and His Church, His Bride that He established, loved, and gave His life for.

The only reason why I go to heaven is because what Jesus did upon the cross that's it he purchased me with his precious blood

@@CynVee First off I don't know what a Calvanist is and second I knew you wouldn't be able to actually back up your comments with facts and scripture. You just want to display ignorance and make derogatory comments. Election or predestination is scriptural and available to all.
Here are just a few.
John 15:16
"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you".
[So you don't choose God. He chooses you. When you are born again, it is because God chose you. You don't get to choose the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That is sheer arrogance].
Ephesians 1:4-5
"Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will".
[The Father, Son and Holy Spirit were all present at the creation "before the foundation of the world". And he "predestined us for adoption". Nothing to do with you, so that you "may not boast"]
Acts 13:48
"And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed"
[God appoints the elected or chosen ones to eternal life, not you. You are just not sure if you are one of them. That's the problem you have. It has nothing to do with all the "isms". Its what the Word of the Almighty God says].
Romans 8:28-30
"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified"
[Once again "God calls you". Once again God knew before the beginning of time those who would be predestined "for those whom He foreknew He also predestined"].
2 Thessalonians 2:13
"But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth"
[Once again, "God chose you as the first fruits to be saved"].
2 Timothy 1:9
"Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began".
[Once again, God called us "for His purpose" and He did it before the ages began. Only the chosen ones are saved"].
John 6:37
"All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out".
John 6:44
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day".
Revelation 13:8
"And all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain".
I don't know why you are so angry. I am praying for you.
Absolute truth. My experience over half a century agrees.

Church of Christ thinks they are literally the ONLY ones going to Heaven 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
No way. Seventh Day Adventist say that. Wait...JW's say that...and...uhmm Mormons too. Oh gosh, there's bound to be a fight.
Anyone in Churches of Christ who still claim that are very old school. I know of no congregation who actually believes that.
As a member of the church of Christ I don't hold that belief
Read Revelations 12:9 then think about it for a while. It may shed some light on the situation.
Watch out for false teachers.
I heard a man on a Catholic channel say that - The bible was not the final authority.....My mind was blown..........
It is standard Catholic doctrine that the Magisterium, not the Bible, is the final authority. One of the tenets of the Protestant Reformation that the Roman Catholic church strongly objects to is that scripture alone is the final authority on theological matters.
Sadly catholics believe in tradition over the truth of the bible
Someone has to interpret it. Yet many theologians, believers debate it….
Because they teach that the bible is only true if it is in line with tradition. They mean the catholic tradition. So what it really means? Is if the bible contradicts it they change what the bible says to match what the pope says.
@@user-uf2ox2mh1mThe bible is not difficult to interpret. Hermanetics is a science not an opinion. The problem comes when people want to insert their preconceived ideas.Or their existing group into the bible. Just read the plain words and don't try to add.
Ex Catholic myself. after being saved kept reading my Bible and after 18 months left that Church for good.

I am a Roman Catholic and reading bible regularly and the bible told me to stay in this church, my local church, a Roman Catholic parish. The church never abuse me.
I don't think you can do that. What I mean is. I don't think you can just declare yourself saved, walk away from the church Jesus started. And on your personal judgement day tell Christ that this is what went down. Had you stayed in The Church, confessed your sins and received communion your Bible study would have been more fruitful. For you would be given the graces to draw yourself closer to Our Lord. Please don't wait until judgement day to recognize you have been mislead.

But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

He also told a couple who were fornicating that we were most welcome to attend the church. God says Christians are not allowed to associate with the sexually immoral who say they are Christians.

1 Corinthians 3:16 ~ Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

The means of Grace are at church. That's where we hear the Gospel.
Justification by Faith alone is the article upon which a Church stands and falls.
One thing I noticed about John 14: Jesus does say, "If you love me you will keep my commandments." What he does not say is, "Prove you love me by keeping my commandments, then I will consider giving you grace."
I've seen the saying: "The essence of theology is grace (unmerited favor); the essence of Christian ethics is gratitude." We are justified by grace as a gift (Romans 3).
@electus1 Noah also followed Torah, something that was not done by everyone else, that's why the flood happened.

Such an important word! I hope this message will drop before the eyes of people who have heard or are hearing this claim so they may be comforted, and so they may make their way out the door of the falsely exclusive buildings and leaderships, to be free indeed.
Belief is an action word. Devils believe and tremble.they are going to hell, but they believe. Takes more than superficial belief. Requirs action.
The Letter of James confirms your perspective.
Yep. Absolutely true!

Don't TALK about God's annointed either. Lightning will strike, Heavy rain will descend, large hail and a tornado will occur.

One true church the holy apostolic one. The one handed down from Christ to the apostles then to the fathers.

Jesus Christ founded only one church while He was on earth and named the apostle Peter as its head. If you don't get comfortable with that truth young man, you will be in serious trouble when you face Him on judgement day. I will pray for your conversion.
You can add the Church of Christ to this list.
Yep. Have a lot of family indoctrinated by CoC

I just found your channel and listened to a couple of videos. Also, some good comments here. I subscribed. I hope its okay if I camp out here and join some conversations.
Welcome!!
Yes, I always say the real church are the born again believers all around the world. It's not where you worship but Who you worship.
Amen and Amen
They have apostles and prophets and teach that you need a second baptism in the holy spirit evidenced by chanting.
💯% agree. Church means fellowship of believers, or people that are called out of darkness. It certainly does not mean an organization!.
Good point, thank you for sharing.
It's about Christ. Not about denominations.
Divisionations…nothing but divide. A Biblicist is the way to go

@@TheRastacabbage hi that’s the problem with religion, it takes truth and man mucks it up
@@TheRastacabbage That doesn't follow.
@@nickynolfi833
Seeds of Roman Catholic heresy:
Tertullian (155-255) taught the authority of the church over Scripture and apostolic succession, celibacy for clergy, baptism for forgiveness of sin.
Ignatius would not agree with you
I couldn't have said it better. I learned this the hard way.
You don't make decisions for your family ??
Your mom was right, sorry to break it you
The sacraments are of God Himself.
@@ryanpowell9003 you act like there's no unregenerate people baptized in every church 😒
God Bless.
you are absolutely right sir! thank you, and God bless you sir..
Just cling to the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, that can alone divide truth from falsehood among doctrines.

That is a brilliant quote.
You are so right, this is why so many people are goin to be lost through false teachings and false religion 😢
Ouch.
feel for you. hope u stay strong. also hope u have a few friends u can feel comfortable with. dont go back to that man.
