Thank you both for more beautiful sights, the volcano lagoon was something really special. Looks like you have taken to the water like a pair of ducks, you did real well with the paddle boarding, keep enjoying it all & stay safe 👍💞
Hi from Christchurch. Loved the humor in this video.😄 Those toilets are a bit scary. Have been to a similar one somewhere else and always expect the door to just open when you least expect it. 🙂 Whangamata is such a beautiful place. Pretty crowded when the annual Beach Hop is on though with hundreds of Hot Rods, classic cars, and people descending on the town and surrounding areas for the 4 day festival. Worth a look if you love cars. Wow, I have never paid more than $7 for a bag of grapes here in the South Island and I thought that was expensive. They are imported though at this time of the year. Have been enjoying following your travels around the country.
Hi Susan, it feels like the toilet is in control. 😂. I’m learning how to shop a little better now. We are heading to Christchurch soon so if you fancy meeting for a coffee let us know. Best, Peg 😀
I thought food bills were expensive here, clearly not. It’s £2 for a punnet of grapes in Aldi! Beautiful footage as always. Love the time lapse stuff as well. You are getting really good at this 😊xxx
Thanks Cathy, glad Aldi still has grapes! Rob is developing and improving the editing all the time. I think he enjoys the creative side of it. Sending love, Peg xx
Food is dear here. Grapes are very expensive. KFC is cheap for meals, just not good for the body! You certainly are having an awesome time. Whangamata is lovely
Thanks Cedric, we are trying to learn how to pronounce te reo… but struggle a bit. We do give it a go and are prepared to be taught. Are you a kiwi? Best, Peg.
@@pegandrobsgameforadventure Yes I am. I am enjoying your travels thankyou they are actually reminding me of places to visit on our next campervan trip. My suggestion was meant to be helpful not a criticism. Whang is pronounced fong as in wrong and in Ngatea the g is silent. I hope you enjoy the rest of Travels , stay safe and keep up the good work.
@@cedricsmith8821 I took your comment as helpful 😀. I have kiwi cousins here who laugh at my pronunciation. It isn’t natural for me. But neither was Welsh when I moved to Wales. Really glad you are enjoying the videos and we are so grateful to be travelling in your beautiful country. Best, Peg
@@pegandrobsgameforadventure Dont worry as a Pakeha Kiwi, my Maori pronunciation is not perfect either. I try to respect the culture making the effort.I hate to think how I mispronounced place names when I traveled in Europe. 😅.

Thanks Phil, I wish I’d been a little braver and gone to the island. We are having fun. Best, Peg
Amazing as always Peg and Rob x
Thanks Chris. Lucky for me the navigator on this mission was very experienced and so all went smoothly 😉 Was a truly amazing experience.

This week I brought 10lbs of spuds for $5.00 cad Peg, Rob did a good job of your fringe, this morning we woke to 12ins on Vancouver Island, BC Canada!
Thanks Brummie,I will eat my fill of spuds there then, . I’m happier with my hair now😀… is all that snow looking pretty? Best, Peg
I’m sure the subway guy probably trades food with the other shops 😂. At a burger place we used to cook up all the cut fries etc. who knows!
You’re probably right Ben. We never thought of that - it makes sense!

Thanks for the tip Pam. Any excuse for a KFC! Every day has been a new adventure and we will have more to share very soon 😎
Man tell me about those food prices!!! My normal weekly shops used to be under 200 now I easily spend more. I just want to eat 😢
Ouch! Even though it’s so expensive to eat in NZ, we do love camping here as it’s so cheap! (compared to the UK)
@@pegandrobsgameforadventure Why compare?
Great video, I am sure if you ask the locals they will be happy to give you the correct pronunciation of Maori place names.
