- Today we'll be exploring the premise of getting every Achievement in Fallout 4 in one sitting. Otherwise known as obtaining a platinum trophy. What makes this challenge so difficult is the range of achievements Fallout 4 has and how difficult and time consuming some of them can be. We'll have to complete all the base game achievements and the extra 34 achievements that come with the DLC. Is it possible? and if so... can I beat a Speedrun World Record in the process?

I’ve been trying to get all achievements and I’ve been working on it for about two weeks, I can only imagine the sheer torture Jabo had to endure to give us an hour of entertainment
I've started going through my steam library 100%ing my top played games. God damn are multi-player achievements hard.

@@screamingcactus1753 Couldn't agree more. When I briefly speedran new super mario bros wii the wr holder joined and gave me tips even tho I had like 3 viewers it was really awesome. And a world record is way more fun if you have to compete for it as well
everyone who's better than you is someone to learn from, sure it's a great feeling being the best, but you can't improve with no competition, that's like the whole driving idea behind capitalism and it's the reason the US is the most technologically/medically/everything-ally advanced country on the planet

Personally? It’s cheap, but I get it. Our attention spans are so brutally short these days this style of editing is becoming frequently more cashed in on. Exhibit A: That popular TikTok a while back, or the other TikTok’s, which have subway surfer in the bottom half of the screen, ultimately leading to more viewer retention.

Lol, mad props to you dude. Earlier this year I got the Fallout 4 plat and got all DLC Trophies and that was freaking painful my man. Benevolent Leader and the Eyes on the Prize had me steaming. Coming home from a long day at work just to stare at one settler for an hour as I try to give him EVERYTHING and the countless minutes of just crouching a basketball in a hoop repeatedly was VILE.
In one sitting deserves respect. Good for you man, I would've gone simply cerebral if I tried lol.

I recently got all the Fallout 4 achievements myself, it was actually pretty fun as it made me finally go through and actually finish the dlcs. Very tedious at times, considering how often the game crashed in Boston, but overall it was a good time

@@lighter_even6867 Thankfully the recipe didn't glitch, definitely the most tedious was getting all the tickets
Getting eyes on the prize isn’t too terrible if you do the target mini game with an explosive weapon like spray and pray. The explosion counts as a hit and has a surprisingly large aoe, so it can clear all of the targets on screen in a single shot.
Yeah I used Lorenzo's gamma gun and it made it pretty easy and quick
I have 100% achievements and I did the tickets with Spray and Pray in the Shooting gallery, it took a while but I got there. That was an amazing Video im glad I watched him get the record.

a rather comfortable way to do the nuca cade tickets is on the shooting range game. it wants you to use the thirst zapper, but doesn't stop you from any other weapon. even guns with area of effect damage like the spray'n'pray
I’m assuming “Achieving Peak Masochism in Fallout 4” was a rejected title.
Dude, base game alone this challenge would have been so mentally straining but no, you also did DLC, so my respect for your poor soul.
Honestly, this was fantastically entertaining to watch. I remember getting every Fallout 4 achievement less than a week after release (that settlement happiness achievement was atrocious) but I haven't ever returned for the DLCs. It may be time to load it up again and get back to it!
I love jabo cause everytime I watch a fallout video I'm always like "wow this game looks fun and easy I wonder why" and then I forget jabo's on the easiest difficulty and drugged up the tits on everything imaginable in fallout

For anyone having issues with this. The molerat disease prevents many achievements from unlocking. Use an old save before you contract it or start a new character.
every time Jabo uses music from Beetle Adventure Racing it is a painful reminder of how few of us truly appreciated that masterpiece 😭 yes it was shameless promotion for VW but it was fun damn it
I actually replayed the game recently and it wasnt as good as I remembered, but that game has a spot in my heart

Achievement hunting is, indeed, very addicting. Hell, I've bought some games I was on the fence about simply because I wanted to 100% them...
Glitched speedruns are almost always more interesting. I dont get how there are still people calling that cheating. Glitches are often way harder to pull off than just standard playing.

As someone who suffers from a crippling phobia of most arthropods, I also hate cave crickets. They're one of an.. uncomfortably large number of Fallout enemies that trigger that phobia.
One of the phobias where a near-total ecological reset actually makes things worse because it allows the little bastards to thrive.

I have hundreds of hours in fallout 4 and I didn't know to pick up the enemy guns for more ammo. There's always more to learn.
Mad respect on the grind, just one thing stood out tho, you said that the run would be glitches but then used them to help complete achievements. Most notably the 50 terminal hack glitch.

There's a theory that the character itself is a synth... The fact you can use vats pre obtaining a pip boy and their is a terminal in the wasteland that says the version 3 synth has an advanced targeting system that can also slow down time (ie VATS BEFORE PIP BOY)
It would be a nice lore way to justify vats and inventory management actually. You know the joke of “wait a minute enemy I’m just gonna sort my inventory, and perfectly time my kill shots”
One could say time does pass, but it’s milliseconds that the enemy can’t even comprehend because it’s so fast.
But then again, I don’t think Bethesda is that deep lol

@@Fiemus9 buddy I continue to think way too much about it. There's so much interesting things that are brought up. How synths are programed to have Implanted memories. It's a fun theory for sure and though Bethesda don't tend to seem to give a shit. I know they do about their lore.
I forgot where I read or saw it, but somewhere I heard a theory that Father replaces your player with a prototype synth in vault 111. Then he lets you out to see what his creation will do with “free will”. One of the skeletons in the vault that you pass is actually yours ( it doesn’t have a pip boy, like when you entered the cryopod)

I enjoyed every second hunting all the achievements in this game. Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 as well. No matter how many hours I spend playing these games the fallout series never gets old.
Skyrim and Oblivion are fun too. Hopefully Starfield has a good achievement list.

19:26 If you just decline to do them, you get an option to evict her from her own vault. You get all the plans, and gets rid of her anyway.
I felt super happy/excited when i got all Fallout 4 + DLC trophies, but I got burnt out and haven't played it since. Hopefully when the new version is released later this year, I'll be ready to play again lol. love the vid by the way

I picked up fallout 4 again a few months ago and decided to go get all the achievements. The Cabot questline bugged and got completely locked, which stops me from ever getting in to the Parsons insane asylum to get a bobblehead. RIP. Great video though! 😌🤙
I'm pretty sure you can use console commands to fix that, but even with using them it's kinda tricky to figure out cause there is two methods to fix it. If I'm thnking of the right quest, did it glitch out when you were trying to find the lady and she is supposed to appear in the locked room, that's when it glitches out and she's not in the room?
Hope this info helped if I'm thinking of the right part of the game (and also hope you ha ve a pc for console comands to work)

The only game I've ever achievement hunted added like, more than double the number of achievements that were originally in the game when I played, so I went from 100% completion to 40% completion and that just rubbed me the wrong way.

Do you have an outline for each step of the run that you could share? Maybe what perks you took at each level. I'm interested in following this route myself.
I remember my first game that I got all achievements. Assassins Creed II... and man, it was pure pleasure
My first game I 100% was BF4. I remember trying for a long time to get a kill with an AA mine. And I will never 100% another multi-player game.
Mine was Fallout 3. I went and cleaned up all the achievements instead of studying for my exams. I felt like I’d really achieved something when the 100% one popped 😅

For anyone else doing Eyes on the Prize, you can use the rug glitch to stack the basketball hoops on top of each other, I can only fit about 3, but 3x faster is better than nothing

When I tried all achievements, I didn’t do it in one sitting, but I went for as long as I could without breaks.
I had to restart in Vault 111 over a dozen times because I was stuck banging on the inside of the cryopod without the cutscene for the Institute to steal Shaun and kill Nora starting
The achievement that got me interested in them was What the ? from modern warfare. Kill an opponent with their own explosive through a wall. was a weird one that you couldn't really try to get. So when I finally got it i was so excited. Love all the content and im super late to the party for this one haha.

I’ve just recently decided to try and 100% fallout 4 myself and it’s taking absolutely forever. I’m NOWHERE NEAR done. And I’m including all the dlcs. This was inspirational. I’m currently trying to get as many suits of power armor as I can. I just got the galactic suit from Nuka world.

The Mechanist and Nuka-World DLCs are exhausting. I tried to avoid the Mechanist quest, but I forgot where I was walking and stumbled upon the battle that initiates it.

Benevolent Leader as you mentioned is rather easy to get with the vault 88 dlc. For anyone trying to achieve it. The key is less is more.
-Make sure beds are covered under shelter
-4 Settlers (One harvesting mutfruit, one working a bar, one working the clinic, one works as trader)
-Collect cats (I had 5 when I got mine)
-Then build a bunch of vault tec happiness items.
