My dad had this cd on this song in his car when he died. I played this song at his service (much to the dismay of my evangelical mother 🤣). Now it just reminds me of him whenever I hear it ♥️☠️
Sorry about your Father. I have a song for my dad and he agreed with me. Wanted dead or alive by Bon jovi. He has passed away but we laughed later on in his life about the song.
My first concert without my parents was to see Metallica when I was 13. Best concert of my life!! Had Korn, Kid Rock, System of the Down can't beat that concert to save my life.
A song i grew up with. Hard to imagine people havent all heard what you grew up on! Its great to see new reactions to these classics. Check out Metalluca's "Unforgiven" Trilogy. Made over decades and shows the developement over time. great!
It sounds like the drums are itching do go at the beginning like a monster being held back by a chain. A master class in dynamics and tension building.
They can aim for whatever they want, it isn't going to happen. That was the first open air rock concert in Russia after the Soviet Union dissolved. 1.6 million people went to be a part of a major event that was changing the world as they knew it. It wasn't just a concert or festival.
An old-fashioned story books The sandman used to come and sprinkle sand in your eyes which made you close them and that's how you went to sleep it is also however sad euphemism for death. When you close your eyes forever
I had the exact reaction you had the first time I heard this song. Right down to the last head thrash, convulsion, and trembling lips. Uncanny the effect heavy beats have on the mind, body, and soul. Just crazy 🤪 ✌️ out y'all 🇺🇲
you should try out ... And Justice for All, Master of Puppets, maybe even Ride the Lightning 🤗 ive loved Metallica basically my whole life and they dont have a bad song ! (not including Lulu😂) any song you listen to by them wont be a mistake 😉👍
I was in highschool...1994/95 when I got introduced to Metallica by a metalhead classmate. I bought the Black Album (first record album I ever bought) and still remember rushing home to play it on the radio casette player my dad bought me (a first as well). I played both sides, end to end, that whole afternoon, and couldn't believe that there's something I could buy in life that I could enjoy thoroughly. Went on to get all their albums up to Garage, Inc. Didn't get Kill 'em All since it was too heavy for me at 15. Even now, " The joy of violent movement, pulls you under."
check out the live Version in Moscow- 2 million plus at that concert- its the craziest thing you will ever see- you will think its fake the crowd is so big
"Off to Never-Never Land" isn't about Peter Pan specifically. It's a catch-all metaphor for a land of dreams. In this case the "sandman" is an old folklore story of a spooky boogeyman that caused dreams to happen. Mostly just scared children not to go to sleep.
Hi! Wow - this is really cool and such an awesome song! We are a kids family band from New Zealand and we hope you might like to see our version of Enter Sandman too :) thanks

We need to get Metallica to watch your reaction videos to their songs!! That would amazing!! 🙌🏽
It sounds like the drums are itching do go at the beginning like a monster being held back by a chain. A master class in dynamics and tension building.
React to the live video from Moscow 1991 this is what rappers need to aim for when they say filling concerts
EPIC!!!
They can aim for whatever they want, it isn't going to happen. That was the first open air rock concert in Russia after the Soviet Union dissolved. 1.6 million people went to be a part of a major event that was changing the world as they knew it. It wasn't just a concert or festival.
The most incredible open air concert ever.
Hands down still my favorite band to this day
Your emotional reaction to the guitar solo was priceless. Top tune 🎩
I usually don't like remakes, but 500 Musicians are awesome performing this.
You must check this out LIVE in Russia. What a scene it is
An old-fashioned story books The sandman used to come and sprinkle sand in your eyes which made you close them and that's how you went to sleep it is also however sad euphemism for death.

Holy diver by DIO 🤘
Metallica in their heyday. They performed that song at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992. That was my introduction to Metallica.
Oh wow, I didn't know that. There must've been so many different people at that because he had so many fans.
Sad But True-Metallica
This song to this day hits hard! When the bass and drums start its go time!
I absolutely loved how you were talking about Peter Pan and abruptly stopped when you noticed Kirk’s guitar solo began 😂
Good Stuff. Listen to their No Leaf Clover live, with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Unique!
If this song comes on when I'm driving I have to pull over! I am a bit of a lunatic when it's on. I'm 60, it's a site!!
This song is so sick, love that you got to hear this for the first time like this
My favorite album is the black album.

The sandman and the boogeyman man aren't the same entity... they're quite opposite actually.

Amazing song
Four horsemen is a good one too
More Iron Maiden reactions please!
This is what we call it America head-banging music and that's why your head is doing that
You should do the music video of One. It’s a very heavy song with a lot of meaning.
Tune
Man, Lars has a heavy foot.
