Honestly, I was just thinking about this just now and how since he came back from covid lockdown Seth hasnt been the same. He doesnt wear a suit and his bits are more angry then funny as of late. Then he started the pod cast with his brother which he plugged every night for weeks until people started to complain about it. I think he's ready to give up his cushy gig as late night host and move on. To me it just seems his heart is not in it anymore, dont be surprised if he announces that hes leaving to pursue "other interest" like Trevor Noah did and now Trevor (much like Seth) is doing a pod cast.

Really, it seems like Seth has been on hiatus almost as much as he has actually been on the air lately. What a time to be off as well. I notice that he is starting to sometimes get fewer views on ACL, his biggest draw, than some of the other late night hosts’ corresponding segments.

The joke about the Bronx River is completely inaccurate. The comeback of the Bronx River is an environmental success story built upon years and years and years of clean ups and community involvement and interface with science. The beavers, the turtles, the wildlife returned some years ago. Maybe Seth's writers can visit and see for themselves. It's easy. Take the 2 train, and you can see the Bronx River on display on your way to the entrance to the Bronx Zoo. Or take metro north to the Botanical Gardens; the Bronx River runs through the massive Botanical Gardens. Or Google. Really, the recovery of the Bronx River is a very well documented story.
