When he entered the recruiter office...an officer of the Army, Navy and Marines saw him...coming in the hallway. All three service men..at a distance of 20ft.. said to my son: You want to enlist? You gotta drop a lot of weight, man!..then all three laugh in my son's face!..l was in shock! My son was so.. so... embarrassed? He made a U turn and left by telling me, Let's get out of here." Then he said: This is the USA Military Service!? He felt bullied and so discriminated. He never went back. My son is 38yrs old now. He works at a construction company in Virginia., lm just struggling so hard. Sometimes, l feel like throwing the white towel and giving up? And l feel so overwhelmed with financial problems all on my own. It's just really hard. So sorry for my venting sincerity. I just don't talk to no one in this state. BUT, l think, lm silently dying inside?.. I feel that all my years of working and working..as a single parent, time or seen my youth fly by me..then l ask myself, now what's left!? I'm so sorry. Thank you for your service, Sir/Ma'dam..if in family? Thank you...bye...
