I have to agree, A Closer Look is at the very top of my list “ Can’t Miss” list. Kudos to the entire staff for making it great!
It's right up there with Meanwhile. I love them both. Between Meyers Kimmel and Colbert it really is a great time for late night TV. (Fallon is hit or miss for me, he has too much energy for my taste)

I love how late night has evolved from what was once a highly toxic and nasty culture to something where all involved are so supportive of one another and not bitter, or intimidated by one another.

Not to detract from your (very good) point, but I understand James Corden can be quite toxic to work for.
While that's not _quite_ the same, it's worth considering, because I can't envision any of the other hosts failing the test "say just one of your camera operators' names."
It is still highly toxic but only if you are a certain Orange man, sometimes funny, but most times sad and boring.

This is surreal to me. Growing up during the Late Night Wars with Letterman and Leno... you'd never expect to see anything like this. It's great to see late night hosts friends with each other. I know Kimmel and Fallon have done stuff before but it's still surreal.

I only watch 3 talk shows at night….Meyers, Kimmel, Colbert. I forget Seth is late night and I always think they’re the main three! Fallon is not my cup of tea.

My two favourite hosts! I’ve never seen them on TV but I watch everything they do on UA-cam. When Trump and MAGA are finally dust, these two should be honoured for their contribution to the survival of Democracy and Truth by helping us laugh, loudly, through the darkness of COVID and wannabe fascists.

It was a different time, and the tone between networks is different now, it seems.
But I can't picture Dave and Jay as friendly with one another, at all. [Were they?]

I can imagine them avoiding interaction. Maybe that's just because I like Dave, and Jay- not so much.
I try to not bash on anyone I don't personally care for, but I'm going to be transparent - I couldn't find a way to like Jay Leno.
Jay screwed over Dave so hard with the inheritance of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. (Apparently Jay has been a baby about getting his way going all the way back to doing stand up at night clubs). . . Def worth a google. Also, check out the Letterman show where Dave had Conan on and they rip on Jay. . . bc Jay also screwed over Conan. But nobody hates Jay and that network more than Dave.
Never thought Leno was funny.
Dave seems as he gets along with everyone except Jay and his successor, the phony and sycophantic Fallon. Who does Jay get along with? No one I suspect.
