Flash's death made me the most sad, cause he only got captured again trying to help his friends, he even sacrificed himself saving Harley and the Squad twice . He got captured stopping Batman from shooting Harley
He saved Boomer twice and Boomer thanked him by pissing on his corpse.
@Penance2277 which is especially weird since from what I'm aware Boomer is one of the group of Flash's rogues that actually respects him as an adversary and has a kind of understanding of lines neither side wants crossed.

Flash totally could have survived this if the one building they ran into wasn't the one that had Batman in it. Really hate that old move. You're in a massive city. I refuse to believe that's where you end up. That was literally just forcing it into the story tbh.

Flash saved Harley and Boomerang and they treated him like shit. But Wonder Woman who pretty much cared less about their well being and told them they don’t deserve to be free, they play sad music for her and show the most sympathy out of any other character.

I'll acknowledge that, despite what everyone says, Green Lantern could beat the Flash... IF, and only IF he uses some imagination.
The Green Lantern ring is called the greatest weapon in the universe, but every Green Lantern I've seen uses it pretty crappily in my opinion (please tell me if you know one who uses it well). Has no one thought to, I don't know, summon an army of supermen using that ring? It can apparently create anything you can imagine, so it shouldn't be too tough.
Oh, and the same goes for Flash. The only time he uses his powers in a remotely good way is when he's facing another speedster, or it's a crisis event.
@@KiroanaI believe that it also runs on willpower or something like that, so aside from imagination, they have to have a strong willpower that will literally bring that Superman army to life.

I hate how little humanity they have for the world going to shit and the flash saving them. You’d think they’d try to protect him better, put their differences aside a bit and get him to safety rather than step all over him and cut his finger off for a laugh. Especially strange since they wouldn't even have to be happy about helping Flash. He's one of the few remaining Leaguers who wasn't mind controlled when they found him. They should've been desperate to keep him from getting brainwashed because a) he'd be horrific to fight if he was (he should've been but lazy Devs gonna lazy dev) and b) he's one of the few people with a real chance of stopping the invasion if he has enough help.

Honestly, the whole premise of this game would've been insanely cool if it was a flash game where you have to save the juctice league members along with diana (since they were the only ones not under braniac's control), and use the anti justice league protocols batman made during the 5 years he was with the JL and try to make a counter to braniac's mind control and shit

That's only if you're lazy with it. Speed comes with many powers, some we even see in game. Tornadoes and Vortexs, Lightning Strikes, Phasing, Time manipulation just to name a few.

@@dankali735exactly, the Crime syndicate solves two issues at once. 1) you don't have to worry about people being upset about having to fight characters they look up to 2) the Crime Syndicate especially genuinely could be a threat where the League or especially a group weaker than the League would have to kill them. Also, it has the further benefit of the Syndicate themselves no doubt being much more entertaining as antagonists instead of the Justice League but EVIIIL

@@305backup got it. By the way, whole it doesn't really fix the issue ls with how they treated the JL it's pretty much confirmed through leaks that they'll be getting resurrected. I found an audio clip leak on the Reddit that is Flash talking about the game's events all in the past tense while clearly not being evil anymore and he explicitly asks why he's back because Bruce told him Waller hates them.

But as you said, even if their clones why on earth would they kill a kevin conroy clone for his last ever video game performance lol. I think itll be good once it comes out though, because it definitely will "unsour" some of the drama, i think.
Once they reveal the whole clone thing, thatll fix most of the big stuff people have a problem with. For example Justice League will at least be alive and can have their own game in the future

I'd love to see a game centered around the Flash, or Green Lanter, or Superman, or Aquaman, or any number of other DC characters. Why did they think any of this was a good idea?
because we're seeing a trend of wb trying to milk justice league for all it's worth. they came out with an alright movie and decided they HAD to make a mediocre game about them.
To be fair, we've gotten plenty of games about the Justice League or at least key members of the League, and none to my knowledge starring the SS. And seeing how popular the Squad is i'd bet there are lots of people who'd love to play as them, but i agree that 1) making the mission literally to kill the Justice League, and 2) setting it in the beloved Arkhamverse, were terrible ideas. I wonder if the reception would've been good had this game been its own standalone thing.
Because gameplay. They knew how to make a fairly enjoyable shooter with epic bosses. And they made it. While playing as this running around guy or flying around guy isn't fun. Idk about Green Lantern. You could probably make a decent game by giving him a stated number of things he can create as abilities. But that requires a lot of thinking

The thing that kills me with this game is the fact that the only JL member to get a proper death was Wonder Woman. Like the flash saved the SS not once but twice, they caught him captured, and they proceed to kill him and try to piss on him. While WW actively tried to avoid the SS, told them they were nothing but criminals and just bashed on them the whole time, but she’s the only one who they feel empathy for? It’s bad writing

It always felt so weird how much they all seemed to worship wonder woman, which is fine, but then have this apathy and borderline hatred of the flash. Like they were happy he got captured so they can kill him. Even outside of boomerang, just felt weird how much WW is put on a pedestal with like no respect to anyone else. Being Villans, thought they would have hated the entire league.

In this game Rocksteady showed that it can do more, they adapted Flash with his powers and personality, Green Lantern with creating things, Wonder Woman with her whip and sword, she also looks like a Greek warrior and the best thing is Superman (SUPERMAN) her story that He tells it through a hologram in the Hall of Justice, he uses his powers, and in a few scenes he had wow "since before several games he had were difficult but here they did it."
I hope they make prequel games of them since it has a lot of potential 🙏💙😢

But everything else he stated is spot on. These characters are so finicky and childish that they are not likable or believable in the slightest. I'd expect even Harley, the craziest one on the squad, to understand how important it is to keep the Flash safe. Also, as much as Boomerang hate the Flash, I doubt he'd actually try and kill him when he knows the Flash may be his only hope of actually surviving the mess the entire world is in. These characters just don't make any sense. It makes the entire story feel like a teenager wrote it. The pieces for a good story are there, but they couldn't make the more detailed connections to make everything flow together in a believable, likable, or thoughtful way.

@@ElmarXilokoan easy fix i would've suggested is to just swap wonder woman and batman's roles in this game. the batman boss fight is replaced with wonder woman's, and batman is the one who gets the heroic death weakening superman so the suicide squad stands a chance. it's not perfect, but it's a million times better than what we got

TLDR: ‘They’re mostly mad at HOW it killed Batman.’
Explanation: The game made Arkham Batman who in four different games fought a bunch of his villains in one night each and even defeated an army designed to beat him look like a pushover. People expected both a better fight from him, and a more dramatic death than just him being shot on a bench by Harley. Who he also has beaten in one punch every game he encounters her. Then it also implies Robin died, who went through the same stuff Batman did. Still kinda expected he would lose but still people felt it spit on both of the characters.
I’m not picking a side by the way, just stating the arguments that one side uses for why they’re mad at how the game handled Batman. So sorry for the long text.

You can tell from the comments the reason a chunk of people don't like this game is because they can't cope with watching their heroes die. Which imo tells me a lot of them are kids or man babies who struggle watching their idols fall even if it's a parallel timeline and not the main one. The justice league losing to braniac isn't the craziest thing either, since he's usually a justice league level threat like darkseid, ESPECIALLY when part of the problem is him taking over people's minds and turning the league against themselves.
DC fans usually complain about plot armor when heroes win, then cry about how they can't lose when they do. It's weird, and makes yall miss out on a unique storyline.

I don’t understand how Green Lantern was able to beat the Flash. I’m being 100% serious, isn’t a single universe where that is possible he just moves too fast for that to happen. He can even heal really quickly so it doesn’t make sense that he’d be that wounded that he would need help. Also, it still makes no sense to me how Batman let himself get captured. There are instances exactly like this is the comics and Batman usually stays behind because it’s an obvious trap. It’s just weird because they’ll have lore accurate moments, then they just have things happen that don’t make sense if you’re familiar with the JLA.

Simple. Green Lantern doesn't hold back and has no problem hurting or killing the Flash. While Flash is holding back because he doesn't want to hurt Green Lantern.

like i get that captain boomerang hates the flash but is he stupid or somthing given the context of the situation why would they just let him get captured flash is like one of the strongest justice league members (as long as he isn't nerd by plot) if anything the Suicide squid should have done everything in their power to keep flash on their side the writing for this game makes no sense
Cut seens look fire an the boss fights but everything else looks ass

IDK, this seems pretty bad. I was actually excited to see how they went about making a story where we have to fight the heroes and kill them. But, they failed miserably. These characters are just terrible. Shark is the only character that stays true to himself and is believable the whole game. The others will flip their personalities on a dime just to push the story forward. none of these characters learn anything or progress as people outside of learning that they make a good team. There is sooo much room for character development and they did absolutely none of it.
I really wanted to like the story. I still came in half hopeful despite all the bad reviews. I have to say, the reviews are right. This story is terrible. I honestly feel bad for the story writers because I'm sure it sucks when everyone seems to be shitting on your work. With that said, this is one of the worst stories I have seen in a long time.
I mean, there's a really old Justice League episode that i can point to for why Batman is so weak, it's another time he got brainwashed and he explains that brainwashing only earns their bodies and physical capabilities, not their intelligence and will to fight

how many times does it have to be said? people aren't mad at their deaths, but how shitty and disrespectful the deaths are.
story aside, you'd think ACTUALLY KILLING A JL MEMBER (the game's main objectives) would be anything dramatic or at the very least feel like an accomplishment but you literally just shoot Flash here and he falls to the ground like a ragdoll in an anticlimactic way (before getting pissed on), it's disappointing
Deaths are completely shit choreography wise and in terms of atmosphere I mean it’s like you are fighting some raid bosses without any personality
