@@gameguy1337 I disagree. Firstly, it's worth noting that my comment said that this animated movie showed: "a better fight" than in the official Batman V Superman fight. That statement in itself does not mean that fight in the live action movie was bad. Just that it's "worse" in comparison to this movie. In this fight, we actually see Batman use a variety of weapons that are nowhere to be seen in the actual Batman V Superman fight. We see him use an electric shock against Superman, although we also see that that has no effect. We see him use his stealth bomb smoke only for Superman to see right through it. Sure, he used a stealth bomb smoke in the live action movie as well, but it's never explained how Superman couldn't see through it. Many people theorized that the smoke was made out of lead (somehow) But that is never stated nor implied in the actual movie. I do appreciate how both movies used a sound box to use Superman's superhearing against himself. It's a shame that Superman just destroys it in both versions immediately, because it seems to be the only device that Batman has that actually has any sort of effect on Superman. The only other alternative is kryptonite, which just feels like such a cop-out
@@carealoo744 Fair enough, in the actual comic book this movie is based on they never really fought anyway. Batman tried talking to Superman from the start but Green Lantern kept trying to provoke him. Personally I think that is my favorite version.
More superman lives more power he get from the Sun. He can also resist to the kryptonite, untill he start to be immune at it. But even if it is under the radiation of that green crystal, he has a strong force of will. The only reason why batman beat superman is because the kryptonian doesn't want to hurt somone, he is scared by his own power. Superman can destroy a solar sistem with a blink of his eyes (and it's not a very big exaggeration). BvS shows a very "weak" superman.
Batman: *protects Gotham for over 20 years* Everyone: omg Batman’s working with those weird ugly creatures cus he wears a cape that’s black and looks like his
Well, at this point in this universe, he's only been Batman for a very short time. He hasn't even started working with the GCPD yet and most people believe he's a myth.
@@basementbrickfilms4821 Yes he did. If I'm remembering correctly Hal thought he was a myth when he first met him which tells you that this is earlier in his career before he came out of the shadows and started working with the GCPD. But the problem with this is that this movie takes heavily from the new52 which basically shortened Batman's career but kept most of his major continuity.
Superman is depicted rather accurately in this movie. No bullshit weakness, the only thing that can really effect him is large force knocking him around, but that’s all it can do. It’s certainly always refreshing to see the characters depicted with actual power level taken into account.
@@ToadstedCroaks Yeah, plot armor is still in the movie for sure. The absolute biggest offender being Batman, a human without superpowers, dodging omega beams.
Batman hitting Supes with everything he’s got in his utility belt is really telling. Batman essentially tested what could’ve worked and now knows none of it did, so his adaptation was already in play. The whole fight was basically to get information, to figure out what Superman’s weaknesses were and what weren’t. The Sonic beacon was the only thing that seemed to stun him, even if it was for a moment. I guarantee Batman was already thinking of means to defeat Superman should it ever become necessary, especially after their first encounter. Goated hero

Batman is never in danger of being killed because he has super speed and invulnerability like Superman. It's the reason he can get punched over a hundred yards through the air, land on a brick wall with enough force to knock it over, and get right back up and keep fighting. I'll never understand why fan boys always praise Batman for being brave when he fights Superman. He's not being brave- he knows he can't be killed. He's got super powers just like Superman (minus flight, breath, and heat vision, of course). He's basically got all of the powers of Mr. Incredible
There's one part of this depiction of Superman that's off, they show him flying through random buildings, breaking things and doing all kinds of unnecessary destruction. Supes usually avoided randomly destroying things
Yea, it bothered me a bit, too. What I tell myself is, since Supes powers are that ridiculous, that he can still feel and see every person around him, so he probably punches Green Lantern just right so nobody gets hurt. Then again, why even punch him through buildings or a crowded street?
it’s cause this is New 52 Superman who is a little more aggressive as both his parents died in a car crash border he fully became superman. He matures as the story progresses though! And starts to resemble more the superman we know.
I can just imagine when GL ran into the building to fight Super-Man, Batman just stood there counting down how long it would take for GL to get his ass handed to him

Superman is special character to portray because he is only limited by his own unwillingness to take a life. Even when its his enemies. To have a power like he does but to have the restraint to hold back to the limit he does is what makes him special.
"I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard, always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die. But you can take it, can't you big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose and show you just how powerful I really am."
He's powered by yellow sun, he's pretty much as strong as needed. His villains in general also tuned up accordingly (like Darkseid, who doesn't hold back like Supes does, obviously)
ALso the fact he puts in limits makes him stronger. If he went all out in every fight he'd actually be a lot weaker than he is. So his restraint is his greatest power because it makes him stronger.

Bomb : supes is unaffected by fire & extreme temperatures Taser : Unaffected by electricity Sonic grenade : testing if superman's extreme senses are a potential weakness For anyone thinking he was just in the heat of the moment & fought reflexively. Batman knew what to say to make Superman disengage at any moment & also knew Superman was on his way to them ahead of time along with being forced to stand back while Lantern fought first. He knew that he was going to fight Superman & that he wasn't going to win from earlier statements in the film. He also had time to think about what he would do & his trump card to make the fight stop whenever. Yet, Batman still fought. From a creative point of view, it was all just an excuse to make the two fight for fangirls, but they at least bothered to frame it as a data gathering session. Batman was also aware Superman wouldn't kill him, so he was prepared to take some bruises for the sake of learning how to potentially take him out if needed/what plans wouldn't work.

Superman is treating them like villains, because they gave him multiple reasons to think that they were.
Id take this type of movie over live action any day. This is probably the best batman vs superman. Superman is strong and OP and he knowns it. Batman is just testing out plans and gathering data. He already had a perfect plan if he lost. However, Nobody hit anybody with a sink so 0/10.

Amazing how this movie shows a better fight between Batman and Superman in 1 minute than an entire 2 hour movie called "Batman V Superman" does.
We must have seen a diffferent movie. For as terrible as that movie was alot of people agree that the fight was done well at least.
And yet still they both share the fatal flaw of the fight continuing on because they don't know how to *talk things out.*
Dawn of Justice was so bad Snyder’s daughter killed herself.
Batman is properly powered here. Puts up a fight, but stands no real chance without Kryptonite

Tom Norton where is that line from?
Adedolapo agiri when Superman fought darkseid in the justice league cartoon
He's powered by yellow sun, he's pretty much as strong as needed. His villains in general also tuned up accordingly (like Darkseid, who doesn't hold back like Supes does, obviously)
ALso the fact he puts in limits makes him stronger. If he went all out in every fight he'd actually be a lot weaker than he is. So his restraint is his greatest power because it makes him stronger.

Bomb : supes is unaffected by fire & extreme temperatures
Taser : Unaffected by electricity

For anyone thinking he was just in the heat of the moment & fought reflexively. "I was kidding, you have a private sattelite?"
Smugness overload
I love how Superman is like: could you please explain what these boxes are? And Batman and Greenlantern keep futilely attacking him.
I know right they can easily talk to him and be like dude i'm a hero and this here broguht those creature here but no Batman is throwing bunch of shit at him lol 😂🤣 and Superman is not the kind of guy that would just kill someone for no reason.
@@fernandorivera2131 To be fair Superman did chock slam him into a wall, I can see Lantern getting his ass kicked because he was looking for a fight, but Superman went on the attack against Batman first solely on the fact he was holding a Motherbox and the bad guy he encountered had a one before blowing himself up.
Superman started the fight, Batman just retaliated until he could catch Superman off guard with his identity. Honestly its how most of the Justice League meet EVERYTIME they think someone else is a bad guy and they beat the crap oht of each other before they troll rach other and become friends.
@@francisharkins yeah that is good point 😅, Superman did slam Batman to the wall first but because he saw that was with green lanthern thinking that probably he could attack him next , but from a what i see he grab Batman by the cape and Batman had time to call him Clark Kent, and that probably would had stop Superman on attacking, and when he cut the cape he could be like Clark i'm on your side when he threw the smoke bomb, but yeah the Justice League every time they meet each other they want to beat the crap out of each other, it happened on the Comic, Cartoon and in the live action movie, but i find it sometimes dumb lol cause they are heroes and atleast they could ask for some question and keeping their guard up if they see something funny before beating someone up. But when is a villan they stop and ask bunch of question to know who they are they let them get away. 😂😂
@@francisharkins But superman obviously didn't want to hurt anyone. You can see when batman tried to kick him he moved his head to the side to avoid breaking his foot.
@JiYun Yikes someones a little mad at Batman fans...
All I was saying was that Superman threw the first punch.
Honestly Superman and Batman are both plot armor heroes. I mean if you don't consider an alien that could survive a nuclear blast without a scratch as not having plot armor when their only weakness is a plot device... yeah. I love both superman and batman and I don't watch and read DC stuff for realism and lack of plot armor from everyone and everything. I go to Marvel if I want a sense of realism but less badass fights. Lol
“I was kidding, you have a satellite?!!” Turns out he’s not just some dude with a costume
Why couldn't justice league have waited a couple of years and followed this blueprint
Money
They could have almost replicated this movie as a live action production and it would have been better
Because Disney were raking in the mad cash on the MCU and Warner Brothers management screamed "NOW! WE WANT THAT *NOW!"*
This movie and it’s sequels are doing what the DCEU should have done. It such a shame.
because they wanted to play catch up. thank god we have animation, and cw and gotham.
Batman: We think it's alien.
Superman: Well it's not Kryptonian.
Superman: Alien is relative, by the way. It's a big universe, *_racist._*
lol
Zerebrat Eightyseven not really seeing as he isn't wrong as it's alien to Earth
*speciesist*, I think you mean.
Water is not wet
The right term is "Extraterrestial"
3:51
Batman: "Note to self; Look into lead lined cowels."
Landon Letterman
and lead liked bat cave
Or you know convince Alfred to stop sewing Bruce Wayne's name into of Batman's clothing.
Not that he needs to hide his identity from Superman anymore lol. Tbh, Superman was an asshole for using Bruce's full name, Bruce only used "Clark" lol.
this is the most accurate batman vs superman fight ive seen
Yeh its sooooo accurate that superman cant kill batman😂😂😂
@@Windbrindle he is just toying with him
@@Moyocochis214 i was joking
@Kryptoskillet batman woudnt even have a chance
@@Windbrindlesuperman doesnt kill so whats your point
Remember the good old days when superheroes (and their writers) cared about collateral damage and the people they might kill fighting the bad guys?
Yes.
When fighting GOOD guys, it matters none 🥴
Yeah, what the hell
That's not how superman would deal with this situation
I recall Superman and Batman meeting at a nightclub, Batman in the middle of interrogating a criminal. The only thing that got broken was a table that Superman was judo thrown into.
@@andyknightwarden9746 ,by batman himself. It was cool.
This is how you make a movie DC cinematic universe should take notes
Well people hated this movie so...
Still better than Justice League movie.
@@rahulsar2030,did i say the oposite?
Adrián Alonso who hated it it was a justice league introduction movie with an enemy that actually required them to join together and showed each character correctly instead of Batman playing super hero instead of being one
@@feritperliare2890, mostly fans of darkside.
Batman: Clark
*WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME*
News flash, Batman had to actually investigate because in DC, glasses and a hat are more than enough
Becoz I'm Batman
LEGEND 25 😂😂😂
LEGEND 25 he should have said Martha
What if instead of saying clark he said martha?
“Green latern kicks Superman’s ass...”
the fact he said that with a straight face 😂
THIS is the most realistic conflict if Batman was meeting Superman for the first time.
2:18. Superman moves his head to the left so Batman's kick doesn't cause him to break his foot.
Edit: spelling
Haha, good catch.
Yea i noticed that too.
Good Guy Clark 😅
Or he was simply dodging Batman's kick...?
@@MissMartianDCAU I suspect he was being sarcastic. 🤔
Regarding Superman kind of being an arrogant jerk in this scene:
To be fair to him, two guys who he has never seen before show up with an object linking them to a previous attacker, and then immediately attack him without attempting to communicate. Superman is treating them like villains, because they gave him multiple reasons to think that they were.
Want a cookie?
Lantern gave him reason to think so, Batman was just there, and defended himself when attacked.
Marines InSpace
Batman was nearby, wearing an evil-looking outfit, holding the evil box.
I don't think it's too much to ask the guy who is damn near invincible to wait four seconds and ask another question.
Marines InSpace good point.
Flash: You have a satellite?
Batman: I have 6
Hahahaha Batman tried kicking him
ragnoss darth Batman>superman
Yeah I lol'd he probably hurt his leg
@@joeclarke9577 Santa Claus > Batman
and doesn't break his foot.
Worth a shot
Id take this type of movie over live action any day.
This is probably the best batman vs superman.
Superman is strong and OP and he knowns it.
Batman is just testing out plans and gathering data. He already had a perfect plan if he lost.
However, Nobody hit anybody with a sink so 0/10.
You've got to see Justice League Doom. Easily the best bat ever by far
@@AshwinRamaswamy it's in the same continuity as War, isn't it? Probably that's what he's doing here, testing some strategies for the contingency plan knowing there's GL to back him up
Nah this movie and the comic it is based off is shit. The JL series is far superior.
@@DoNutx777 No. Not the same continuity.
This one scene > Batman v Superman
3:58 that's like saying who's Bill gates
Kaeden Ngai-Natsuhara well I didn't know who bill gates was until last year I heard of him a few times but I watch too much MEMES than media
Who is Bill Gates?
Kaeden Ngai-Natsuhara who?
He is a badass rapper and did alot of weed
Eh...more like Elon Musk
Why did Batman Roll out of the bottom of that jet and not just step out? Imagine getting out of every vehicle batman style.
You didn't see Green lantern dematerialized the jet before he could even reach a step 🤦🏾♂️👑
"An object is in motion, stays in motion" I believe is the physics of it. The jet did fully stop but it seems he was in a rush and wanted the momentum so he could leap out quicker. Superhero shit 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, you'd get all the style points and the jump on anyone expecting a slow entrance.
"Chains?"
*Y O U ' R E F U N N Y*

Superman’s seen it all
Chains ain't gonna stop the Man of Steel GL is dumb lol
If Batman had a lantern ring he would be more than unstoppable because his will is unbreakable
MrFrankg209
There's actually a couple comic stories where he does get a ring. The most recent one was a tragic story of a Bruce from the dark multiverse getting a ring around the time his parents were murdered and the emptiness in his heart from it warping both him and the ring and making him a monster.
Lol no, superman will beat batman (LG)
Except for his spine
@@ignaciogarcia2517 for you
