Really can't be understated how great a job Cena has done jumping to acting. It's a role that really suits him where he gets to use his performing skills and his physical skills. It seems like he really gets the character beyond just being a goofy antihero as well, which would have been the easy trope to fall into.
The only weapons he used in The Suicide Squad that did not re-appear in the Season 1 was his Sword and Hatchet. I hope they come back sometime, imagine him using his Sword and Shield!
