Love all these ideas! I’m curious have you done a home tour before? I’d love to see how you organize and set up kids rooms for a large family. We have 5 kids in an 1144 sq ft home-we are always looking for ways to maximize our space.
You know how one becomes an expert? With extensive experience on a particular subject. With your analytical mind as well I would say you are an expert.
New subscriber. I was looking at video where kids meet Benjamin. When the girls started crying i lost it and started bawling my eyes out. Pretty sure my bf thinks im crazy lol binge watching both channels
I just listened to your first 3 chapters of your book, I loved it!!Talking through your childhood you reminded me so much of myself. I was also such a shy child compared to my sister. I never really fitted in and also like yourself grew to find humour to hide when I felt uncomfortable which turned me into the glass clown I may say. But what stood out to me about your story is how you never really felt like going with the crowd and doing what everyone else does. SNAP! Same here I just cant be put forced into a box. I'm a homeschooling mom of 6 children and woukdnt have it any other way.( Well maybe an other way would be to adopt a house full of children.) If that's part of Gods will for my life it may very well happen one day. Godbless you and your family always xx
im a preschool teacher and the owners philosophy is nothing plastic, only wooden toys and containers. and more things to bring along imagination. and since we have 2 to 5 year olds in a large classroom together, it works for everyone. magnetiles are a huge hit as well as the blocks and animals and stuff like that. we have that blotters too, they are great. everyone loves them. we have those puzzles too lol
We got a radio flyer wagon that’s just like your canvas one. It comes with seatbelts and a canopy. We love it. Love that it folds and takes up very little room.
Yes!!! So true! They get completly bored with things that are there all the time. And the I get annoyed because they are in the way and are not being played with. So I put a lot of stuff away, too, and only get it out for playing. But I've been letting it slide a lot lately, so thanks fir the wake-up call!
Great idea of having one thing out at a time & putting it away when done. That is what we did when I was young, we didn't have a lot of toys anyway. I see so many ppl with toys from one end of the house to the other & what are they really playing with. Nothing, they dump & go. You are a very thoughtful mom. You think of the important ways for kids to play.
Please do a must haves video for twins! My first set of twins felt like an overwhelmed disaster, and I'm due with my second set in 2 months... I just want to make some changes and put the time and thought into making this a much better experience for them and for me...
I just got those magna-tiles too. It does work for multiple age groups. Growing up with three siblings as long as you have trees and a backyard, I agree that you don't need a bunch of toys. Half the time we played with sticks, mud dirt, and in trees. Toys are for when you can't leave the house.
I'm so glad you did this vlog. Lot of fun ideas for the littles. Those wooden toys last forever! Millie and Ivy are super cute in those dresses. Love those shoes.
I agree I love this method because as you said they do get bored of it easily if they see it everything they won't play with it as much or anymore thanks for the video
I'm very picky with toys, too. I wouldn't call myself a minimalist, but I really hate clutter. As far as the big items go, we too have a bike, a slide, and the mini trampoline, lol. We also have a Bilibo, our toddler is high energy, so the indoor items are so needed.
Having Twin Toddlers in the same age as yours this video really helped me a lot! A storage video would also really be great, i personally could need some help how to store the toys away. 💙💙
It’s all about the wheels!!! Many years ago I had wagons similar to yours. I chose them for my daycare because of the seatbelt feature. My husband adapted them so two could fit together. I have since upgraded to a five seater stroller with great big wheels.
You’ve basically listed all the toddler toys in my house 😅 I’m a childminder and at one point things got so out of control, so we decided to downsize the toys! The wooden toys were a definite must keep. Another fun thing to do when it’s warm out is to have a bucket of water and different sized paintbrushes and let them ‘paint’ the fence or patio.. I’ve found most ages enjoy this, it’s sort of rebellious for them I think 😊 hope you and your family are all well x
This was great! I'd love to see your recommendations for older kids too. My 5 year old is getting bored with a lot of her stuff, but it's hard to find things that she enjoys that her little sister doesn't want to destroy
I really admire your approach to toys. I wish I could adopt something similar. I’m just a sucker for their toys. I love how my two littlest combine their toys together to play. They build duplo treehouses for their hatchimals. Paw patrols show up to tea parties. Dinosaurs frequent the princess castle. Etc. I just love watching their creativity when they mix and match their toys. BUT it is a lot of effort on my part because they do make a huge mess with their stuff and I fight the toy battle daily!! I’m also a little obsessive with toy organizing, I just don’t dump it all in a toy box. And that takes a lot of my time.
Love having the toys in bins out away I made a few themed ones for occupying the baby/toddler while I'm homeschooling... but having more for all day play I might consider that sounds good idea!!
My oldest is 21 and she had a water mat like that. It didn’t have suction cups so they have made improvements in the last 20 years. If I’m lucky enough to have grandchildren one day I will be all over those Magna Tiles, and the wooden puzzles. My kids don’t remember playing with them but I have fond memories of buying them.
Yes, a spatula! My now 3 y.o. has had a favorite spatula since he was 1. He carried it everywhere and even slept with it for 8 months. He isn't as attached anymore, but he still plays with it regularly. Thanks for the video, loved it as always!
I’m in my 20’s and have yet to have children of my own, yet found this so fun to watch. I also work with four and five year old preschoolers and can vouch that magnetiles, wooden puzzles & the letter ABC thing that you stuck to your fridge are still pretty fun for little ones who are older. Prior to my state closing schools for Covid I listened to that sucker at our preschool for an hour a day at five days a week. Some days twice a day depending on the schedule. They love it. 🤪🙉
Awesome suggestions! Wish I would have known them when I was raising my children. I learned later as they got older. Now my children are very minimalist and rarely want anything.
No judgement here at all as I think magnatiles are absolutely amazing. Have you seen all the cool creations people build on Instagram. But I would be carefully personally recommending them for under 3s. Because at least here in Australia they are strict 3+ marketed toy. Of course they can be used by younger children if parents choose but they should be closely supervised because of the chance of swallowing a magnet and ending up in emergency.
Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE Ivy’s darling blonde curls! 💗 I think it’s cute that all of your girls have super straight hair, but one! As my kids are 14 & 15.5 year old girls, I’m not super sure what made me watch, other than just loving your channel. I will attest, though, to every.single.one of the things you named, with the exception of the water mat. We literally had ALL the same things in some form or fashion, only we had the Crayola mess-free markers & books that were the same concept on a smaller scale. The bingo markers that are still here from 12-13-ish years ago, that haven’t dried up, still actually get used! And, I used to do the same with butcher type paper and just roll out a huge piece and tape it to the table or the floor and let my girl’s go. I’d add, too, that MOST of the Melissa & Doug toys, for the most part are worth every penny, even starting with the most simplistic puzzles of just colors and shapes, to help teach toddlers those things. And, last (I didn’t mean to make my comment so long!), BOARD BOOKS! My girl’s loved all of Eric Carle’s, Sandra Boynton, Dr. Seuss, etc., but in board books so they wouldn’t tear out pages. I’d give them a couple of books to ‘read’ when it was nap time, we read before bed, really whenever they were interested. We were consummate readers around here, and still are, and I strongly believe that starts very early on!
I’m so with you here. I am constantly changing my kids playroom, minimising more and more. This has been great for some new toy ideas and I will also be putting a bit more away. I’ve got rid of the play kitchen too- they just throw the stuff and climb the kitchen. 😂 x
Quick question: Are you planning to do a book giveaway? ♥ Also, I want you to know that you've inspired me so much! I have a relatively large family, too (five kids -- large by my standards, haha) and you've inspired me to keep my home cleaner, to get myself together every day and not wear pajamas all day, and to be the best I can be!
I absolutely love the whole putting each toy in a box! I am not in complete toy hell and we have a playroom, I am constantly donating toys they don't play with, but I think this is a better solution. What liter size storage boxes do you use?
If you wouldn’t mind could you share, if you got to pick which family’s embryos you wanted, do you know the parents who made them possible, if so will they get to meet them some day? Did you know if they were girls. Could you pick which sex? How did you go about going this direction. I find it fascinating and think it is a perfect way to increase or start a family. Do you have a blog on this?
I’ve been meaning to ask you for a while where you got your layered necklace! I’ve looked all over the internet and can’t find anything quite like it. Thanks as always for your thoughtful and great content!
Oh, I have to great ideas for birthday/Christmas gifts that Grandpa and Grandma can get the kiddos!!! Love the girls' flower headbands, where are there from?
OMG we really like these magnetic tiles ❤️ to this list i would still add some kid-friendly cookie cutters. My toddler loves to make cookies with me! 😂
Wao it was so good watch the twins participated in this video...they are definitely models in the making!!! My the Lord keep blessing them and all your family... Much love from my beautiful country Panamá 🇵🇦 💖!!!
Where do you keep the toys? Can you show us the storage area?
I’d love to see this too!
Love all these ideas! I’m curious have you done a home tour before? I’d love to see how you organize and set up kids rooms for a large family. We have 5 kids in an 1144 sq ft home-we are always looking for ways to maximize our space.
We haven’t- I will when we finish a few of our indoor projects 🙈
You know how one becomes an expert? With extensive experience on a particular subject. With your analytical mind as well I would say you are an expert.
Haha, I guess that’s true. 😂
My sister: are you watching that lady with a million kids again?
Me: yes
My sister: if anyone should be giving baby advice, it should be her

Yes! So glad you’re enjoying it! Learning I didn’t have to fit in a box was the lesson that really changed my life!
@@angela.braniff forgot to say I'm from UK so I didnt think I was going to recieve the free 3 chapter download. So I'm thankfull did xx

Jacqueline Thompson agreed magnetiles are always popular here too!
The twins are adorable in this video! It’s like they knew they were the center of attention!
We got a radio flyer wagon that’s just like your canvas one. It comes with seatbelts and a canopy. We love it. Love that it folds and takes up very little room.
I can't believe the twins are almost 3!! I didn't realize I'd been watching you that long!
Not only did you give ideas, but tips and tricks, thats great. Putting toys away, staying away from pink (shoes) etc. Great ideas
We have a canvas wagon too that we got to bring in groceries up to our 3rd floor apartment but our 2 year old loves it
That’s smart!
Tbh I would love a video on how you store your kids toys! :) I’m thinking of rotating toys but not sure how to

I got my son a wooden trike like the twins'. Its 17 years old now and still going well, so they definitely last!
Can he still ride it;)?
Great idea of having one thing out at a time & putting it away when done. That is what we did when I was young, we didn't have a lot of toys anyway.

Great ideas!! We love magnitiles too! And toy organization is so helpful👍
I have been volunteering in preschool at my church for YEARS and we LOOOOVE the magnet tiles. Even I enjoy building with them. They are the BEST!
Please do a must haves video for twins! My first set of twins felt like an overwhelmed disaster, and I'm due with my second set in 2 months... I just want to make some changes and put the time and thought into making this a much better experience for them and for me...

Yes! Keep going. Have a 6&4 yr old. Any games/books/toys you love?
I'm very picky with toys, too. I wouldn't call myself a minimalist, but I really hate clutter. As far as the big items go, we too have a bike, a slide, and the mini trampoline, lol. We also have a Bilibo, our toddler is high energy, so the indoor items are so needed.
Love this!! I would love a preschool age video! I have a freshly turned 4 year old who is quickly outgrowing what we have!

I am another vote for toys for each of your kid ranges. Also, I love watching your videos, you have such a beautiful family.
I just love your channel! ❤️
I love the container for each toy idea! I have 5 young kids I NEED to do this🙂
Love all your recommendations! Thanks!
Yes yes yes! This is a great choice for a video! Love your choices! Thanks!

So funny all kids really love the simple inexpensive things! And quality time with mom and dad! Which yours are lucky to have in abundance💗
So helpful! I found myself nodding and laughing ,and pretty much agreeing with you the whole video!
Awesome suggestions! Wish I would have known them when I was raising my children. I learned later as they got older. Now my children are very minimalist and rarely want anything.

Okay fineeeee I’ll buy the water mat I’ve been eyeing for a year now 😂 thank you! This is great!!

This was really helpful, my daughter is the same age and these are great suggestions for her next new toys!
Did you ever clear out the hubby’s closet? Just been watching cleaning videos for motivation 💙💙💙❤️❤️
We have the exact same magnet set for our 3 year old son, and he is obsessed with them!
Could you add a toddler idea list with these items to your Amazon page?
Your toddler watching a movie in that box... cuteness overload 😍😍😍
Great content keep it up 😊
I love how you’re such a great mum ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing! Please share more content like this!
I'm 14. But for the past 4 hours I've been binge watching u. I love u❤
Love this video!!!
I love this! My son is 15 months old and his favorite things are spatulas, bag clips, my socks, the broom, and dog toys. lol
As a mommy of a (very wild and very energetic) 2 year old little boy and trying to convince baby number 2, I appreciate this video so much!!
I would LOVE to see this series continue for older kids, too! Our oldest is 8 and that age group is unknown territory for us!
How do you do birthday gifts then and have others? With even just family giving them gifts they get soooo many...
That box, with a cushion or bed, would make a nice cat bed or dog bed.
Love your vids Angie! What music do you use in your videos? Especially in this and the recent night routine 😍
Thank you for sharing! I love the trampoline idea!!! 💕 we have a foldable wagon and I love it!!! 😊
The do a dots markers are the same as the bingo markers
Great video 👍🏻😍❤️👏🏻👏🏻
Yes another Angie video!
I've always looked forward to having kids but you honestly make me so excited for it (I'm 21) thank you Angela :)
Hi Angela! Do you know the brand, name, and sheen of the black paint you used for your kitchen cabinet? They look great!💗
I’m so with you here. I am constantly changing my kids playroom, minimising more and more. This has been great for some new toy ideas and I will also be putting a bit more away. I’ve got rid of the play kitchen too- they just throw the stuff and climb the kitchen. 😂 x

I love the doll house! Now I want one!
What a PERFECT video!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💛
How do you go about books?
the way she smile really melts my heart 8:30
I'm planning to keep toys to minimum and let them play with pots and random stuff but I love the idea of putting toys away and keeping them fresh!
oh how i looovvveeee Ivy's curls 😍
This is so helpful! Thank you.
Hi Angela just wondering have you added another arrow tat for Benji yet?
I absolutely love the whole putting each toy in a box! I am not in complete toy hell and we have a playroom, I am constantly donating toys they don't play with, but I think this is a better solution. What liter size storage boxes do you use?
Thank you I’m a Nonna this has helped me 😘😘

Well those twins are two very excellent models for toys. 😂💝
They did a great job!
Watching your videos from Bangladesh and love it 😍

Are the duodots basically bingo dabbers? I can get those at $store.
Yes! I get these at the $store 😃
