Watching part of this on my lunch break, will come back to it later (probably several times), and seeing all the little details that add up to falling behind, and knowing that you're gonna be catching up, is just awesome. GG on the new PB, and good luck with however far you want to take this run.
Drewski screwing around with wall jumps at 0:34 is clearly where he got that 0.2-second edge. He got a 46.55 Ceres compared to Zeni's 46.71, so I think Zeni will need to practice screwing around on the CRR wall for future runs. (I'm already so hyped to watch these two incredible runs side-by-side.)
@@KQVTownTheme I know this is a joke but in all seriousness Drewski can move Samus in ways I simply can’t, and my time is better spent focusing on other stuff lol
This was a combackrun on your behalf. Have seen you at far better paces after the first 20-25mins. Great runs both! Good luck WR hunting! Your potential run is a low 4020, as far as I can see.
This is, of course, until Drewski gets BT skip. I kid, I kid. 😅 Cool stuff. Thanks for putting it together and sharing. I always love side by side comparisons.
Zeni's run finished the final boss laser eye thingy first but on Drewskis run the metroid came off the boss's head first - seems inconsistent. Awesome run btw🎉
The thing that blew my mind was that Drewski was a full screen ahead at mother brain. Maybe 5 seconds? But it was dead even after. I'm sure the 20/10 made a difference because Zeni had an extra super, but maybe Drewski also had worse MB rng? I didn't know the MB fight could swing that much.
Drewski got “good cutscene” which is RNG based on when MB decides to step forward or not in relation to her firing a ketchup beam. It saves a few seconds.
I don't mean to start anything. But how is it, during the mother brain fight, Zeni managed to get to the Super Metroid "cutscene" first, and somehow...during what I always knew to be a predetermined, timed "cutscene" did Zeni have the cutscene end second? Did his run longer for no reason? Did Drew's run shorter for no reason? Zeni even had more health so if it was determined by health, Zeni still should've came out of that first. I'm sure I'm just missing something, but that stuck out to me like 🤨🤨🤨
insane phantoon kill by zeni at 11:00
@@Sir_Leelord pretty standard kill for me at this point lol
@@ShinyZeni cutie would be proud

Total congrats on the PB! Loved watching your replay on Twitch just now.

Cool comparison for two wildly different runs. Tnrscking resource issues and management is cool. Also drewski right side bubble mountain was dope.
Love comparisson videos. Such a good tool to guage strats

Never RIP a run. Excellent comeback sir. WR is within your reach!
I was patiently waiting for this, thank you ❤❤❤

if it wasn't for that little tiny boggle at morph ball zeni would've won. soooo close. i think one of u guys will take the WR soon
Drewski didn't take the missile right before wave beam, he picks it up elsewhere I assume?
@d-5037 nope he just skips it to try to save time (sometimes it saves a few seconds, sometimes it doesn’t)
Oatsngoats doesn’t pick it up his world record either
Por qué el Metroid de Zeni ataca primero pero muere segundo?

Should have put both of your 40:43s!
I might do a second comparison of those
very unlucky motherbrain fight by Drewski, he could've taken the WR if it was super clean. those charge shots kept failing.
Drewski got good cutscene on MB, which saves 4 seconds. That likely wouldn’t have happened with literally any other change to the fight.

@ShinyZeni ahhh okay thanks!
