Having this same helmet and same adhesive, I have a pro tip (that may not actually be necessary). I put a flame lightly to the adhesive to warm it up before sticking it on. I misplaced it the first time and it strained my neck a bit too much since I put it too far forward, so I had to take a blow dryer and heat it up so I could remove the adhesive (it's SUPER strong). Once I eventually was able to roll it off, I redid the mount a little farther back. Tbh, the placement of the adhesive in this video is where I had it first try and it was too far forward for me. Mine is a little farther back than this (it's covering the A and part of the S). My video gets a tiny bit of my helmet in the bottom of the video, depending on the angle of the camera, but it's all good with me haha. The weight of the GoPro is much more centered above my neck now at least.
So, a solution there is to turn the post of the actual mount around the other way and offset it 2” or so toward the back of the mount. I really don’t recommend adding heat, removing and reapplying. You’re supposed to add heat to remove the base plate entirely. Re-using that adhesive plate could result in a lost camera. We will see how it shakes out but I’m guessing it’ll be fine.
