I absolutely love the Alpha and can't wait to get my hands on the Bravo. Simming in a 748F can't get much better at home. Thank you for the review Emilie.
I have the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant now for 4 months. As a XP-11 flyer, I enjoy the ability to work the throttle. BUT only 2 months in using the unit, I started to get problems with the thrust reverse switches. I first were thinking it was my poor ability to interact with the XP11 software. But later I realized the problem was not with the software of the switches in the levers, but the fact that the wires running inside to the controller card were breaking. I realized this when I opened the controller and visually inspected the wires. 4 of the routed wire were all broken. My observation was that the wire they were using is too hard, and during bending would suffer fatigue damage. Realizing this, it was not really possible to solve the problem by doing an exchange of the bravo unit, as this problem is a Design fault, and I would just be getting the same failure in the future. Therefore, I replaced all the routed wires with a thinner more flexible gauge wire and adding additional support at the tight corner bends. After my repair to date I had no more problems with the functionality. I do not know if other users have the same problem? Let me know.
@@Pilotemilie Thanks! The way you are doing the flightsim work is so refreshing, your style! I was very surprised you chose Lukla Airport. In real life only a selected few pilots are allowed to land there! I know Madeira Airport can also be a challenge because of the strong the island hills wind! Salute from west Europe
Oh that throttle looks really nice! Maybe it can’t quite do all engines of a B52... but it will do anything I want to fly including the 747. I need one! The trim wheel is a great feature. Also, your cat is very beautiful.

don't forget the Emergency Brake...lol....great video
hahah Thanks Larry!
Hahaha and not too far from Xmas. You were like the 'kid in the candy store'. The set-up looks impressive. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this - I have now pre-ordered the Bravo Quadrant and the Alpha Yoke. Keep the videos coming Emilie.
Been watching your channel for a while now. Its soo good to see genuine happiness and excitement when you are flying. Thank you for the videos and taking us all on your flight simming journey! ... Stay safe and happy landings always! ... Cheers!
Thanks so much!!
You seem very comfortable with this set up...I wonder why 🤔 Love that you set it up for left seat - of course - and I noticed you seemed very at home with your left thumb on the trim wheel. Great camera angles too! Well done Capt. Emilie!
So glad you got one of these!
Your vids are awesome Emilie. I hope people keep sending you equipment, it would be so cool to see you fly a Q400 (or similar model in the sim) with the full equipment stack and to have you run through some training scenarios. Fantastic.
That would be cool!
Great job Emilie. You’ve really got to get some pedals to enjoy the Yoke and Throttle Quad.
Totally!
I bet you like to hear your passengers screaming, judging by those landings xD
Subscribed.
Great video Emillie, I can not believe how quickly your channel is growing!!!
Same 👀
Great video! I cannot wait for my Bravo Throttle to get here! Surprised you had to configure the Alpha Yoke. I plugged mine in and it was set up perfect.
Had to configure it because I don't have any pedals!! Thank you! :)
About time, Honeycomb! Congrats, Emilie, you totally deserve it =)
That was awesome!! Yes please, would you set up the configuration for the 737? Would love to see you fly that. Thanks again Emilie for another great video!!
it always make me smile watching your videos. Thank you so much for that!
You are so welcome!
Definitely need some rudder pedals for sure! Thank you for the great look at the new Honeycomb hardware! Cant wait to get my hands on that for sure!!!!! Thanks you for all the great videos! Congrats on getting back in the seat and best of luck to you in all your endeavors!
Oh and would like to add,.... :) Unequivocally, you are by far the most beautiful and classy professional pilot on youtube!!! 100%!!!
I love the gameplay part at the end. She looks so happy :)
Mine is on order, can't wait to get it. Well done Emilie, thanks.
Hope you enjoy it!
@@Pilotemilie I am sure that I will; a bit envious of you folks that get to have it sooner. (hehe)
Epic. The alpha and bravo are going to help your precision so much!!!
Agreed Blair!! It already made a huge difference when I was playing around with them!
So jealous. Waiting for my alpha and bravo. Would love to see more interaction with the switches and autopilot buttons. Maybe a cold start and a flight? Thanks for posting this!!
Great job on the subs... Your channel is growing
Thank you!
I seriously doubt that I could have done any better without rudder pedals or brakes. You did fantastic with the setup that you have. I want that throttle quadrant!
I learn so so much from watching Emilie , I am a Plane nut who has worked at JFK for 15 years on commercial aircraft , I have always been a pilot wannabe , I have to order the quadrant
Been waiting for the next vid, and here we are...used to live in Calgary, spent many hours at that airport.
Nice!
I absolutely love the Alpha and can't wait to get my hands on the Bravo. Simming in a 748F can't get much better at home. Thank you for the review Emilie.
Enjoy!
Yeah. Rudders would be nice... great video!
very jealous - looks great! Congrats on closing to 100k
Thanks Mark!!
Great to see now you will be flying with a GA/Commercial quadrant and yoke, and not with a galactic fighter throttle and flight stick!!!

Cool and fun checklist complete. Takin' off.
love that!!
Thank you for sharing the unboxing of the new quadrant and the different features of it. Looking forward for the next livestream. 🤝
Oh that throttle looks really nice! Maybe it can’t quite do all engines of a B52... but it will do anything I want to fly including the 747. I need one! The trim wheel is a great feature. Also, your cat is very beautiful.
Thank you!
HI Emilie! Thank you for taking the time to do this unboxing/review for the benefit of all aspiring pilots and flight simulation enthusiasts. If it's good enough for you, I'm so buying this! L'amour de Montréal.
Love your vids! Relevant content, educational and always leave a smile on my face. Thank you!!
Glad you like them Dag! Thank you!
Great to see somone other than a geeky male get excited over new Flight Simuation hardware as it's a very fresh perspective. And I'm a geeky male.
Whilst I don’t have rudder pedals, I use my Logitech racing pedals. takes a bit of setting up but works very well.
Good to hear!
Good landing and good job , Emilie ,Thanks for vidéo .
