Don't be scared Maybe try building and tearing down a simpler engine first like a motorcycle air cooled If that doesn't give you confidence then... Find a good mechanic and share the wealth😊
Before I knew it the video was finished. Wish you would have shown a close view of the active fuel setup behind the timing cover, never seen one. Looking forward to the next video. ✌🏻
So is pulling the engine required for the delete? Have to pull the rockers to pull the heads? Doing the DOD delete myself now. But engine is still in the truck. At the point of pulling heads and timing cover
@TWAMotorsports From watching your videos it seems best bet to pull it to deal with heads etc. Already have had dirt blow in. Can't afford to mess up. Plus all the work needed to drop the pan. Going to head that route. Appreciate your response. Your videos have been extremely helpful
I see that little Travis is out there right in the middle of this job , he’s got a brush cleaning something up, he must be related to you. LOL LOL LOL .
Very excited to follow this engine build!! Great content!
Thank you.
Dude is legendary! I'm so scared to tear it down, and can't figure out what bolt go where? Any tips on that issue?

Can be done in the car. Yes rockers need to be removed

I'm getting old too and hate working under a hood. Lol
I apologize if I missed it, but what cam are you using as the replacement? Hopefully, one that retains the low-end torque for that big 'Burb.
Coming in a video soon

Texas speed has great kit, as well as Brian tooley. I did the same to my 2012 Hoe
Using mostly gm parts
A decent quality oil catch can is cheap insurance for sure.
May do that eventually
