I catch this error a lot in boat videos: "millimeters" vs "mils."
A "mil" is 1/1000 of an inch. 22 mils is a very thick gelcoat and should be plenty durable.
A "millimeter" (she said the boats have "22 millimeters" of gelcoat on them) is 1/25.4 of an inch. So, a 22-millimeter gelcoat layer would be nearly an inch thick.

Jude Roberts Haha...I totally feel u Jude. These things have been annoying the crap out of me every summer when I’m fishing. It got to the point where I don’t even go to certain popular recreational lakes to fish in the summer anymore. They always pass by close to me too. I always think: Y can’t they go in the middle of the lake somewhere. They Have the whole lake available to them I only have certain spots I can fish at. I actually wave at them to give me more distance.
Now with my boys growing up and wanting to do water sports I’m shopping for one myself. They sure look like fun When you’re not on the receiving end. At least I am self-aware now to be sensitive to fishing boats. I’m betting most of them dont even know what a nuisance they are
@@whatscreenname they're probably looking for a spot that has the best water, just like you're looking for the best spots to fish. its really the same concept as fishing.
