I'm Building A Bass Boat
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- This year I'm documenting the entire boat build process of my Falcon 205. Each time I've taken my boat to the water I've found something else I liked about it more and more with each visit to the lake. The process of building a fiberglass boat is fascinating that I wanted to share the event with you here. Since the build is about a 1 week long process I'll split the vlog in to several videos highlighting a different aspect of the boat each time. I hope you find it valuable for your boat search!

Be sure to comment with any questions about Falcon boats. We will try to answer them as they come through!
This is such a dope video. Even like 5 years later. It’s still so dang engaging to watch. Also, falcon boats are KILLING it
Dude!! You are probably the first person to show this process and ITS AWESOME! COLOURS DOPE!
HATS OFF TO FALCON BOATS FOR LETTING YOU DO THIS!
A thousand thanks for this video. This is a win win win for everybody. The boat builder couldn't buy this type of exposure. For people with boats made of this material it gives them repair techniques. For fishermen it shows how tight the community really is. For people buying boats. It teaches you what to look for.
You are one lucky young man! I knew exactly how a boat is made, but seeing the actual process and how much work goes into it is something else. Thanks very much for sharing this, and the boat looks fantastic!
The black and blue looks cool you pick the right choice I think
Enjoyed watching this because it took me back to my childhood. My dad worked as a regional sales rep for several boat manufacturers in the Nashville area when I was growing up. I always loved going to the plants and watching those guys build the boats. It is amazing how the process works. Thanks for sharing Brian. Good looking boat there. Love the color choices!
Great color. Falcon makes a terrific bass boat. Thanks for sharing.
I did not know that I would watch a bass boat being built when I woke up this morning. So glad that I did. Very impressive.
Love the black and blue!
Great colors, my favorite jig color
very speedy process, thank you for sharing
that black and blue is exquisite !
Excellent series of videos.... Can't believe nobody else did a video like these
This answers a question i never knew i had and it answered it pretty well you get a big 👍
Color is very nice ! I like that you follow them building your bassboat . Thank you
with this kind of presentation, looks like your competitors are gonna be "BLACK & BLUE " from envy of your highly refined choice of launch.
Love the color scheme.
Best video I've seen yet when it comes to boat manufacturing. Thanks for the video!
that blue stripe on the bottom makes the boat look awesome love it.
Such a cool idea. I love seeing how things are built.
one of the most interesting videos I've ever watched. Thanks.
I love the blue and black. Beautiful boat.
Like the colors! Can't go wrong with black and blue!
my jaw dropped seeing this. i gotta say thats one of the coolest things ive seen on you tube.
I’ve worked for Ranger Boats for about 4 years now using a chopper gun and rolling fiberglass. I’ve also put in transoms and put down the sub floors along with foaming the floor and foam tanks in the back of the hull. I don’t know much about the deck side of the boat but the hulls to a falcon boat is very similar to a ranger boat. We build about 15 boats a day though. It can be very stressful at times. 60-70 hour work weeks
Newberry SC baby! That’s where my family is from. The Langford’s moved there in the 1700s! Lol but I’m going to stay in south GA lol. I would love to build me a aluminum bass boat like nobody else has ever seen, all welded.
Those colors are shape. Love the black and blue
I have never seen that done before....its soooo interesting how they do it. Thanks for posting it.
That color combination is sweet and slick!
Color combo looks great! Amazing video. Never knew how they built them. Cant wait for part 2.
Angel Jimenez part 2 is my favorite so far
This was such an awesome, educational video about how a bass boat is built. I had no idea they started with the gel coat. I just figured it was painted on the mold after the glass was set. Great vid B. Lat, beautiful boat
Zachary Shott it’s crazy how it starts!!!
Color is killer dude
Fascinating, wow , so this is how boats are made. Would love to watch in person. Love the color u picked out.🚣
It's quite the process, & many people wonder WHY boats are so expensive...It's not so much the material cost, as it is the labor hours & the mechanized equipment involved in the process...!
Really, a lot goes into building a decent boat; & this is one of the most perfect examples I've seen of this.
Very labor intensive
Great video, thanks for sharing this whole process with us. I grew up with one of the Falcon owners when he was back in Tennessee. His family started building fiberglass boats about 1970 called BumbleBee's. He grew up with fiberglass in his veins. Good to see him doing well with this brand. I've still got my BumbleBee from 1986 wouldn't take nothing for it. Your new boat might have Falcon on the decals, but it will have BumbleBee in it's soul. You might not have your boat but a few years, but if it's anything like the ones his father made it will last someone a lifetime. Tell Stephen I said hey.
It's is amazing how they build boat. Thank you showing me that. Your boat is SWEET!!
Very cool just like how its made
Awesome footage and very interesting to watch. 👍👍
Gotta love that black and blue, next season “look out”!
Beautiful colors brother
Thin Blue Line boat. I'll be rooting for you
Cool ! Nice colors. Quality build.. the electricity that's created when boat is stripped from the mold is just static electricity like rubbing balloon on hair or vacuuming sawdust with a corrugated hose, you should see the amount of static electricity a chinook helicopter builds up. Riggers have to be grounded off before they can touch a load thats hooked up to one
I really like the color combo, but I'd probably do the inverse on mine and go Cobalt Frost with a black stripe.
Nice boat man! Thanks to you and Falcon for bringing us along on the process!
I love the color, good choice, looks beautiful already!
That color is sick. Good Choice. I would definitely do the green stripe as well. I'm a fan of green but that blue pops good.
I like the color combo! It's going to look great!
Awesome part of boats that we never get to see until now. Awesome video B lat
Kevin B me either!
Love this one - both the boat and the video. You definitely come up with some educational and entertaining videos. We can count on you to "go where no man has gone before"! Thanks for the education. Makes me appreciate the build process even more.
Ozarks Hillbilly me too!!! I’ve seen bits and pieces but not the whole deal. And it moves so fast
Tried and true with the black and blue, nice colors!
Good color choice. Your boat is so perfect.
Brian love the color scheme of you new falcon.. Blue is my favorite color. Boat looks great.
Marvin Gardner this is my first blue one!!!
The black with blue trim is bad ass. Nice choice.
that's sweet they use Gel coat with metal flake now. I worked at a boat repair shop in the 90's and all bass boats with metal flake were painted with Emeron (not sure the spelling) but you couldn't just sand and buff to bring original color back. You had to match the paint and remember seeing the painters throwing crap around due to frustration trying to match the metal flake color lol... Awesome video!!
Can't wait to see the rest of the build.
Jason Boose the next part is my favorite
Love the color!
Thank you for sharing this. The process is fascinating and that color combo is stone cold 👊🏼
SnB Fishing Videos I absolutely love how it turned out
Thanks! I always wanted to see this!
Great video! The colors are sweet the boat will look sinister on step! You gotta win big in this one. Good luck.
Cool video, love to see how various Bass boats are made
Looks good, B-Lat! Can't wait to see it on the water
I'm loving the new color scheme!! Cant wait to see the finished product.
AMP FISHING 84 me either man!
Pretty nice color combo. Thin pinstripe of platinum silver metal flake between the blue and the black really would have set those colors off and made them pop.
Very cool video. Thanks
The “Bruiser” Colors look sweet!
Super cool to see the build 👍🏻👍🏻
Darryl Shisler thanks man
OK take notes, the friction from pulling the boat from the mold creates surface tension friction creating a charge. You can eliminate this by connecting a grounding cable from the boat to the ground, or to the gantry crane. The boat is free floating and ungrounded when pulled out and all those charged particle are floating around on the surface of the resin waiting to find ground. The person touching the boat first becomes the ground and gets zapped. so ground the boat to avoid this.
I really love to see how the boat builds go down!! Super cool
Thank you for sharing!
Thin blue line. Nice color man. I think it's neat how they paint them the whole prcess really.
Awesome video! Keep the great knowledge flowing
Thanks for documenting this! Super interesting! We are loving Falcons!
Do we need to stock a BLat edition?
That would be so cool!!! Never thought about that!
I personally like the silver, dark red,and the dark color you chose
Nice video. I toured the Stratos and Champion plant with Gary Clouse who was CEO at the time. Very cool process and place has over 300 employees working together to make 12-13 boats a day if I remember correctly.
Pretty wild how the color coat transfers to the fiberglass. I pray you make a lot of money on this boat this season. I’ll be watching
That color scheme is ON POINT
Poppa K thanks man
Beautiful boat, great to see it being built from start to finish. An amazing representation of you and Falcon Boats. 2019 will be your year! Can’t wait to see the test run.
me: watches 18 minute video, "I can build my own boat now".... 6 months later "should not have tried that at home"
*Excellent Job* Built to be rock steady!
Brian I have to give credit where credit is due.
I stumbled into your videos basically because of my interest in boats and there construction
To take one through the process was amazing. I don’t Freshwater fish anymore but I still Saltwater fish and crab.
People call me a water snob because I stay away from freshwater. I guess it all depends on where you live.
Anyway thanks again for sharing the process of how your boat got built .
Happy Fishing
My next boat can’t wait
You’ll love it
Color choices are on point!
Color combo is sick!! Great choice!!
Great looking boat and I dig the colors 👍
Awesome colors and great video thanks for sharing
You picked the right color scheme very nice
Edward Mcleod I’m definitely happy
Absolutely gorgeous colors beautiful boat!
Nice boat, amazing to see the building process
Thanks for sharing.... color combinations are sweet! You have to name the boat.
Jamie Rawson I’ve never named one before 😂
@@BrianLatimerFishing Maybe we can help you find a good name... It might be good luck like Christening ship with champagne. LOL
Nice, way easier to build than to repair. 👍
Must be nice to get a new bass boat every year. Can i have your old boat?
For real
Boats looking pretty slick B.Lat !!!
Nice info, thx for sharing
Boat looks great, very cool video. I had no idea the gel coat was the first thing down.
britt murray yup!!!
America still has many great businesses building quality boats
Color combo on point
Nice looks really good. Love the colors
Very cool process Brian! Thank you for sharing. That new boat is going to look sharp man!!
BigBearFishing thanks for watching I’m looking forward to it!
Very nice color scheme. My family lives in Union, SC. I’m currently in Japan. Talking to my wife right now about getting a Falcon built for 2019 👍🏽. #greatcontent
This was really cool to see, I had no idea they built them backwards like that!
Its triboelectricity. The boat pulls electrons off of the mold and if you touch it before it can be discharged. those electrons will jump to you.
Beautiful boat Latt.
Awesome combo! I now understand why they cost as much as they do. All man hours and no robotic help. Like building a Ferrari. I'm not yet able to afford one like that, but I'm excited to purchase my first boat in the near future. Thanks for the vid
Nemesis A6 it’s literally one boat at a time hand work. No automation
my thoughts exactly Brian at 10:44.
