THAT'S WHERE IT IS!! I was wondering where that toggle switch tip was. I just figured it was still in your shop somewhere. I took the one off my padauk N2 Washburn for the time being, since I haven't been playing that one lately. Now that I know where it is, I'll have to go find that box when I get home. Thanks for the video! I never would have known. 😄 The guitar got to me safe and sound by the way. And everything works and looks great!! I've always loved the way these particular Vs feel. So comfortable to play. Thank you again for all your hard work!!! (Andrew)
Good Video Mark. I always put some thin foam wrap between the strings and the pickups. I also always leave some string tension. on a really thin neck, i leave the strings a little loose, but i won't ship it with full string tension. Just because of the truss rod considerations people used to say to always take the tension out of the truss rod. I don't find that to be true. Keisel and Jackson will always ship the guitar in tune and ready to play. I think Solar does that too. (Might need to tune it a little by the time it arrives, but the intention was there)
Thank you! Here is a question. Say I’m moving from Wisconsin to California. I have a total of 5 guitars with cases. Now, I’m wondering if shipping them as individual boxes is still best or stacking all 5 guitars in their padded cases into 1 very Large single Box? Not even sure that is possible. Also not entirely sure it wouldn’t cost way more for the total weight of that one large box. Any suggestions in this situation?
You and me both, Michael! Are you a Patreon member? I just tried to check but there are a few Michaels there and your last name isn't here on YT. I am just finishing a series on there showing an Alien Blood Rhoads I built recently. Part 3 of that video is coming out tomorrow.
@@GuitarGuts sorry 😞 mark i’m not a patreon member, not in my budget right now to do that we’ve got some family members with different medical issues and been helping my dad since it’s been a year since we lost my mom to covid-19,but i’ll always watch your channel and comment rock on 🤘🏼 bro
IF I ship a guitar WITHOUT A case I also cut an extra piece of cardboard and inch or two shorter and an inch or so less wide and basically "double up" on the inside of BOTH sides...lots more protection from stuff poking thru.....
I shipped a bass one time just the way you demonstrated and it arrived damaged. Otherwise I always double box the guitars for shipping - never had a problem this way. Thanks
Damn!!!! Looks like I'm selling this squire locally. I could of swore I shipped a keyboard for cheaper but that was before covid so I'm guessing inflation.
Reverb should make watching this mandatory. Great video as always man!
As someone that used to work for a shipping company, can confirm they do not give a rat's ass unless it's a hazardous material

Oh man! Glad you still have the box!! Glad you're digging the guitar Andrew! Rock on brotha!!
If everyone watching this takes a minute to forward it on to their local Guitar Center we could all but eliminate the issue in the continental US.

And don’t forget shipping a guitar costs 300 fucking dollars. Actual quote from UPS I received today.
