Doing this on the collectors edition was so easy cause of the starter 240sx. That car honestly had the stats of a tier 3 car 💀💀

Man I almost completed Carbon with 1 car, never rlly tuned until Tier 3, and had to switch to a Tier 3 car due to canyon.
I won carbon in a fully modified ford mustang just because i thought the car was cool and didnt really understand about the tier concept of cars in carbon back then lol looking back i always wondered how i did it
@@apolloxlix679 usually if you don't give a rat shat about Tiers you are good to go, The reason I couldn't use the same car for Darius' Canyon (btw I did beat Darius' City race with that Tier 1 car I had) is prolly my skill issue or smth
@@apolloxlix679 Well, the Ford Mustang is actually a decent car in any NFS game.
We've gone over this before my man, in vanilla Carbon the AI indeed doesn't receive the bonus from the drifting multiplier because someone at Black Box forgot and left the number set to 1. Every year the same question pops up and every year it gets answered the same way.

70 charger in this game is a corvette for tier 2 cars, that thing is a monster. The only thing that makes it difficult to use is the fact that it's old boat muscle the new muscles in carbon turn better than the older ones
That's not exclusive to Carbon. You get to see quite a few old and new muscle and pony cars here in Sweden and even the old ones from the 70s are absolutely massive compared to the average modern car. That massive wheelbase certainly doesn't help with turning, which is something you'd expect manufacturers to have remedied with technological improvements over the last 5 decades.
My little 122 Amazon isn't precisely the pinnacle of turning radius and you can fit two of those inside a 70s American landboat, can't imagine those things turning too well. You can certainly forget about parking in series on the sides of the road like you normally do here in Europe, you're gonna end up doing a 500 point turn.
I imagine you're also gonna need quite the muscles yourself to turn that wheel drawing from my experience with classic cars lacking power steering and considering those American classics weight quite literally 4 times what my European classic does.
@@supermaster2012 i see what you mean, i was just meaning the differences with the old muscle car handling vs new in nfs carbon..The newer ones in the game turn better than the classics but the old had pure power

5:55 Crew Members base class has been decided the moment you choose starter cars. If you choose tuner, they'll be using Tuner for the rest of the game. The same goes for other car classes.
An exception would be regional Crew Members where they adapt to the crew they're in (Yumi = Tuners, Samson = Muscle, Colin = Exotic), whereas Nikki in an earlier build had a mixed car according to tiers (Tier 1 = Chrysler 300C, Tier 2 = Dodge Charger SRT8, Tier 3 = Ford GT)
Sal and Neville's cars are determined by the starter car you choose in the game, if you pick Camaro, they will only drive muscle cars

0:39 Most of people don't care while play the game, that whenever you start from the Bayview Airport you have 50 cash and 25 for collect red "i" icon. And do some hidden races until Rachael forces you to stop doing races.
They not hidden per se, they are marked on the map.
@@dbclass4075 it's marked at the intro in the minimap and it become collectibles just like hidden races.

I beat Carbon with the stock RX8 on Wii of all versions lol. It was a challenge, but totally worth it. Haven’t touched the game since
I can barely beat Carbon with a fully upgraded car, the final Darius race was so hard
I remember playing this game a long time ago, using the ol' Charger because it is my favourite car. I remember slamming the back end against walls to turn the boat around some corners. This is one of my favourite NFS games there is.
0:38 reminds me of the last time I played NFSU2, I used the Nissan 240SX from the very beginning of the game to the very end of the game without using any other cars (and completely ignoring the SUV races because they're optional).
Technically all the races in UG2 are optional (except for sponsor races) as long as you complete enough races to fufill the objective for a given stage, you will complete that stage. SUV races count towards stage completion
You can actually complete the game in an unupgraded starter alpha brera, I once did it, it took me about 3-4 hours to any% get to darius and then another 4 to beat him with sheer luck and determination. Funny thing is most of the races up to darius are really not too bad, and some of them feel just right in difficulty later on. However beating the final races against mr big man is just straight horrible. Would not recommend.

Sal and Neville are driving the class of cars which you picked first at the start. thats why Sal is driving Muscle's the whole time, because you chose the Camaro

You must also try the challenge with stock cars from the beginning (enter rx8, alpha or cc) without upgrade and without other cars. From the beginning till the end.

If I can be kinda bragy here,I did on my channel (althou low quality) beating all Stage 3 bosses with Stage 1 cars. Keep in mind that AI changes it's behaviour if car is stock or max tuned so if it's on max it doesn't let you win at all.

NFSU2 sure hard to grind.
But Carbon is also hard to grind.
Your only option is keep stock car till you meet Darius crew.
Then buy C6 and upgrade to the max.

your wrong about underground 2, do the races from the garage menu, enough to EZ max out heaps of cars
But, bro here's the thing you have hidden races such as suv races and these races will help you to complete 100% game AS WELL. And several hidden races, so yeah suppose you got 240sx and after completing the races and chooses the Hummer H2 then you have no choice but you need to get the suv car.Another thing is that, playing on hard difficulty the URL races becomes so tough and grindy. And, also most of people don't care that whenever you start from the Bayview Airport you have 50 cash and 25 for collect red "i" icon. But to end this up, I have to say it's the hardest nuzlocke challenge to challenge with underground 2. Like even DustinEden completed the NFS Most Wanted but not other and Kuru as well. @@Crazyfellow2005 You know, in the PS2 version, I actually find out a trick to get a money from the world map event (the one from garage). If I remember they pay more cash than the normal races on the free roam (well, still less than hidden races). Idk if Kuru use it, or this is still possible in PC, but it could help quite a bit to get more money

The thing about Nuzloking this game, is that if you unlock the Nissan 240sx, you can pretty much beat the whole game with it. For a tier 1 car, it has stats simiral to the 350Z and the Evo in stock. You COULD struggle in the speed traps, but since you're not upgrading your car, the rivals won't either, so... Yeah, for me is the best car in the game, at the lvl of the Evo or even stronger. Fully upgraded can match T3 cars, the only one that can give you troubles is the Corvette and that's it.
now i wanna see if Kuru can beat Payback or Heat with stock cars only, no using stock supercars or hypercars is allowed!

Huh? I used to max my garage. You could access extra races in the menu that gave big bucks. Don't remember how to access that menu but it was definitely a thing.

So far, I have beaten Angie, Kenji, and Wolf using Stock Camaro SS, and yeah. You can actually beat this game using stock cars, and even tier 1 cars. Unless you know how to exploit your crew's rubberbanding, the only race type you have to avoid is speedtrap race.

Wolf's Murciélago gotta be the hardest Canyon race in the game. I still can't beat him after years of playing this game.
Did you know that you can upgrade your teammate’s cars for free? You can also change their liveries & body kits.
I believe car type of AI is based on whatever you started with, exception with Neville and Nikki, think Nikki is always same and Neville switches [except custom races the rules for crew are just dumb]
Another dumb thing is that Carbon will lock out certain cars until after your beat Darious, like R34 is only avaliable in Muscle and Exotic after Darious but its on the map on Tuner campaing, very ass.
Neville and Sal follows the class of the starter car. Everyone else has a fixed class (Colin uses exotic, Samson uses muscle, etc.).
I tried doing this with the Camaro and managed to get up to the canyon races with Darius’ crew
try to beat flatout 2 with no upgrades good luck

When Carbon came out, i was just a kid and i played the game on PS2...
I couldnt beat him with my pimped-out Viper, so i sold it and bought a Lambo, BUT i was dumb and didnt realise that i would have no money left for better parts, so i beat him with a stock Lambo.
It only took me few hours and lots of pain, but damn it made me feel good to finally beat him with that shit-ass car and my shit-ass driving.
The answer is yes. My friend was playing this game,last battle. His friend stopped by to visit. While my friend made lunch, his friend played the stage with stock Camaro,and won. Neither me or my friend have finished this game.
It's easy to beat the game in a stock car but once you get into Silverton that's where it gets difficult.

You are probably aware of this, but canyon races are actually rigged in favour of the player. First of all starting behind the opponent means that you get the chance to pass and eliminate them BEFORE they get that chance. Equally important is the fact that if you fail to pass them and follow them all the way to the finish line, you keep getting points to the very end. In comparison, when they are behind you the race ends as soon as you pass the finish line. This last point saved you against Darius.
I tried beating the game with a stock brera but got stuck at the darius canyon race :(
