    Must be his years of experience combined with extraordinary intelligence, honesty and decency to be so patient and humble in his explanation that even a layperson like myself could understand.
    I actually taped him as I couldn't see it all day.
    It was very educational to listen to him. And yes, he is so spoken and articulate.

      Not so fast. Dr. Langenfeld, the ER doctor, said the blood gas level was tested and showed a Carbon DIOXIDE level at 100%. NOT an oxygen level at 98%. So one of these doctors is either lying or totally incompetent. And how did the prosecution not notice this huge contradiction?

    • @jimkiser1429
      @jimkiser1429 3 роки тому +1

      There is a huge discrepancy in Dr Tobin's testimony. Here is a another direct quote from him in the testimony: “Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for 3 minutes, 2 seconds, after Floyd took his last breath, Tobin said. After that last breath, Floyd’s oxygen levels went down to zero and Floyd “reached the point where there was not one ounce of oxygen left in the body,” In other words, Floyd had been dead at least 3 minutes and 2 sends before they took him away in the ambulance. With the lungs not working and the heart stopped, how could the oxygen saturation go up to 98%? To re-oxygenate blood from 0% to 98% is impossible without the lungs working and the heart pumping blood through the lungs. Some have said that CPR in the ambulance is the reason. While it's easy to charge the lungs with breathing-like action, without great heart action pumping blood through the lungs, it can't recharge the hemoglobin with oxygen. Yes, CPR moves a some amount of blood through the lungs, it's not like normal heart action. Not enough to recharge a dead man's hemoglobin up to an extremely healthy level of 98%. I've been in the hospital many times with non-respiratory issues, and sometimes had oxygen saturations lower than 98%. This dog just doesn't hunt.

    • @LisaMurphy
      @LisaMurphy 3 роки тому

      @@noob3dprinter Yes that's right. Someone cleared this up for me. Landenfeld did say his carbon dioxide level was 100, not 100%. Also, this was a different blood draw from the one Dr. Tobin was referring to, but the testimony didn't make that clear. It got very confusing, especially when the prosecution brought him back for rebuttal.
      But none of it matters now, the jurors apparently had their minds made up for them all along by public pressure. Chauvin got over charged in this case and over convicted.

      1. If you know anything about trials, ANY AND ALL expert witnesses can be contradicted. These people are testifying for their own gain (like Tobin did this for free to help him get clients in civil cases who pay $500 per hour).
      2. As you could see, Chavin had a shoestring budget ... while the state spent millions ... unfair fight for sure.

      @big andy lol don't worry you haven't solved the case in relation to Oxygen in his blood and dying from asphyxia , Believe me this was common knowledge to all the experts that had received a copy of the blood tests and and had months to prepare ,if it had been some kind of ureka moment they would have brought it up ,iam sure there was a reason why they didn't ,that's why they are experts in their field ,try CPR and recieving oxygen ,but could not get the heart started again because the brain had been starved for too long and no electrical pulse for the heart but was still being artificially pumped

    • @MrCOUNTYCORK
      @MrCOUNTYCORK 3 роки тому

      @big andy yes he was a late addition ? but the judge wouldn't allow the new evidence because the defence hadn't had time to prepare ,that's what would have caused a mistrial ,he just went over blood oxygen levels to rule out carbon monoxide being a cause of death ,as far as the blood oxygen levels were concerned they had known that information for months it wasn't anything new ,he just stated because of the high oxygen levels carbon monoxide was not a factor in his death and the jury had a right to know that information obviously or the judge wouldn't have allowed it

      This study (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6072928/) states an ‘...SaO2 (oxygen saturation) between 94-98% is a dedicated treatment goal in current guidelines’. Meaning doctors aim for 94-98% oxygen after a cardiac arrest, during CPR.

Although that was not allowed in, the fact is it could not have been over 2%, which is also normal. So no, he wasn't sucking on the tail pipe of the police car. Fowler was a total joke, a paid witness. Unlike Dr. Tobin - who was not paid. Fowler did not realize that the data that WAS available precluded what he postulated. Pretty basic stuff here. From what I see in comments I think people forget that when you’re in custody of officers your well-being is their responsibility. Hence the sentences given.

      No disrespect to Kyle’s family, either. I just think his case is solid evidence that you can suffocate via limited inspiration. Also, John Jones’ death can be a counter argument as to him dying via blood to his brain from an upside down position, as John lived for several hours upside down and Kyle died with an hour, or so.
