This morning my best friend and I were talking and I told her my hobbies were now watching mask-making vids and ukelele lesson vids. She asked how my uke playing was going and I said, "Not very well." I told her I struggled with keeping it in tune and actually making proper chords but that I found a very good series from Appleton, Wisconsin, and that I was watching all of the good teacher's new daily series called 16 Days of Strumming. I said sometime I would be able to play chords and keep it tuned and I would know how to strum ... or where to look again for a refresher. Thanks, Katie. (And I've not made a single mask but I've been charmed by some of the makers.)
Very good lesson! Thanks for teaching here. I found that in your video, all sentences are useful! Super good quality. Love your channel as always. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for these happy patterns. I loved learning that shhhh chuck string technique with the added bounce of the unmuted chord. Sparkly understanding, still need to coordinate the time with barre chords. The C chord one... Success. Thank you, happy day 🙌😍🙏
Hi Katie, I've always wanted to learn how to Reggae strum, Thanks for bringing this into the the16 days lesson you sort of have to relearn, because all other is strumming on the count, and this is after the count. i'm going to be persistant this round, I tried before, but gave up halfway.. probably because the song I wanted to learn have cords that I'm struggling with. Thanks, love your lesson. God bless
This woman is a very gifted teacher: a Ukucator!
Awwww! Thank you!
really challenging strumming but it's too much nice in order to give up and you are an amazing teacher so...I can, just do it! Thank you so much!.-)

I'll have to get used to rolling my thumb over the top. Not used to playing like that. Wondering if there's a different G7 that would be easier?
Newbie here... Can you tell me if a strum can change in a song of does it just repeat over and over
