This video saved me. I didn't use the same strat or anything, but I had no idea you could surprise them, which let me kill Ketheric before he even moved (since I failed the roll to make him give up :/). Thank you!
I've done the same but with Ranger 5, Rogue Assasin 3 and 2 Fighter. Build practically the same. Killer Sweetheart instead of Callous Ring cause I had no source of Radiant, bracing brand kept. Ability Improvement in Dex for Feat instead of Sharpshooter, cause Sharpshooter doesn't give enough accuracy against Myrkul. Assasin guarantees critical on Surprised Enemies, so you don't need to rely on luck and it restaures first action done in turn mode or to start combat. So it goes like this: Enhance Leap, Protection From Evil rest the same. Jump close to him, mid jump activate turn mode. Use Speed Potion, first strike. Now activate Psionic Overlord with bonus action, second strike and Ketherics dead cause now it's a critical attack cause hes surprised. Then for Myrkul just Action Surge and use all atacks all critical cause hes also surprised. Second turn starts with the player cause he was surprised that gives 3 more attacks to finish him with 2 guaranteed criticals from Killer Sweetheart and Luck Star smt. He's 100% dead and attacks almost 100% accuracy.
Could you make some videos for the companions? I really liked your companion guides for Pillars 2. Especially Eder. I know most people just respec them but I like to keep them how they are when you get them. I don't think I have seen a single build that does not respec Shadowheart.
How did you score all those critical hits or was it just really lucky? Excluding the attack using the luck of the far realms, the probability of landing at least 3 of 4 attacks as critical hits for a champion attacking with advantage is only 2.4%.
You can do rhe same with Ranger 5, Assasin 3, Fighter 2. Assasin guarantees critical hits while enemies are surprised. So you just have to save Luck Star and Killer Sweetheart for second turn that gives 2 criticals from 3 in second turn. And for first turn all criticals. You can do it with high accuracy no need of Sharpshooter and no need of luck.
Ive been able to get to level 10 shortly before this point as well on multiple runs. Explore every nook and cranny of the map for xp, talk to all the people you can for side quests, and dont shy away from combat unless its someone you really dont want to fight. Might not feel as good from a role playing perspective, but you should be able to hit Level 10 in the mind flayer habitat under moonrise shortly before this fight. Also, beware that thrower builds might not give you xp for enemy kills from the thrown object's crushing damage. Not sure if thats been fixed or not.
Also, while it depends a bit on your order of doing things, I use some references to know if Im missing things while leveling up. If you killed Zhalk and all other enemies except the 2 cambions on the Nautiloid: You should hit Level 3 during the first goblin fight outside the grove, level 4 by the end of the spider matriarch fight, level 5 by the time you start fighting the hyenas/knolls, level 6 before you fight Grym, level 7 early into the gith creche, and level 10 just before the final Ketheric fight.
+1 from the weapon +1 from the Draconic Elemental Weapon buff (granted by using Drakethroat Glaive as a buff tool) +1 from Diluted Oil of Sharpness coating
• You steal from vendors, they reset their wares every time a character level up or after each long rest (no camp supplies needed, partial is enough). You can do it once in awhile or you can farm it in one go by spamming parital long rest or respec an unsed character/hireling to spam level ups. It can be time consuming regardless. • Arrows and Consuambles are easy to steal with any characters with high Dexterity and proficiency + expertise in Sleight of Hand. Make sure to get atleast Advantage from equipments or buffs so you don't risk rolling a 1 (critical fail). e.g: Cat's Grace buff from Enhance Ability or Graceful Cloth itself , or Gloves of Thievery gives you Advantage on Dexterity checks.
Another way to get more potions and arrow: Respec>buy items>up lvl>buy items>up lvl>buy items...etc. Every time you level up it refresh items from merchants
• You'll get the bonus attack right from 1st level War Cleric and a select few of useful spells. The second level grants Guided Strike (+10 bonus to attack rolls / Channel Divinity charge). This split is mostly temporary for progression after level 8, as Fighter next big breakpoint is not until level 11 for Improved Extra Attack. • As for Diadem of Arcane Synergy, it functions like Scrolls and uses spellcasting modifier based on last class taken, so it'll use Wisdom in this case with War Cleric.
Not technically solo, Dame Ayling landed the final hit :D Didn't know War domain bonus attack allows for special arrows, that's neat. Is champion fighter taken just for the crit range?
yes, because in this case only Special Arrows were used so Champion is useful to get in some crits. However, for general purposes, Battle Master subclass is still solid and provide more with their Manoeuvres around these levels, if you don't want to run around "farming" for Special Arrows from vendors every Long rest / level ups.
They’re all easy and gortesh is the stupidest. I backed out a bit because I didn’t like the way the traps where springing and gortesh dies from his own traps. Thorm is the hardest because of the mechanic of having to achieve a certain objective first; plus he doesn’t go down on the first attempt. Orin is somewhere in the middle because her help comes from the trash helping her in sanctuary. This is in tactician. One last thing. Due to this reason among others, I agree with people that say act 3 and 2 should’ve been switched.
Were you watching the video...? He literally hover over his stats and its said where its came from. During act2 you can find the statue of ketheric (where u free the other part of the spirit), u can touch in a right order statue ... things... idk how its called... writings... and get to shrine of sharr, she gives you blessings if you pass 14 difficulty checks. P.s im playing on honour too but idk how hes 10 lvl there, I'm 5k exp away ._.
So many of these solo honor runs have a whole team buffing them and waiting in camp in case you die( and in this case releasing dame aylin). I'm not saying this isn't impressive still, but the titles of everyone saying "solo" when its really a whole group just 1 main is kinda disingenuous.
when you hovered over your arrows and it showed all the different types of rainbow damage i laughed so hard 🤣
You've been busting out a bunch of content today. Love to see it! Always learn something new when I watch your videos.
Bro just casually teaching me stuff i would had never done alone thanks
these arrows of slaying are actually insane, carrying me thru tactician
With the correct type, they do double dmg. I just keep doing long rest to make sure I can stock up, lol
Where do you get them from?
@@JSiuDev You do not need a long rest for vendors to stock up. Level ups (e.g. with a hireling) are enough. :)
@youngdonald4109 Jep. That works.
I recommend to hire an hireling and let they level up.
But of course, you can do it also with your main char.
This video saved me. I didn't use the same strat or anything, but I had no idea you could surprise them, which let me kill Ketheric before he even moved (since I failed the roll to make him give up :/). Thank you!
Plot twist: he won't give up anyway
Really eager to see your builds in steam. DOS2 ones were so good and helpful
Ahhh finally the end of act2, you are a treat to watch since the very begining ! Let’s play the video now hehe
Can you please bring out a honour mode party comp? With gear distribution between them :)
Awesome! Shall we see the build guide for this ranged fighter soon?
Hope to see that too
Awesome to see your bg3 content after having seen a lot of your DoS 2 stuff. Any chance we could see a thorns build similar to the DoS 2 tank build?
I've done the same but with Ranger 5, Rogue Assasin 3 and 2 Fighter.

Maybe I'am stupid but is your Tav actually The Dark Urge? How did u costumise her?
You can customize the dark urge :)
How his bow is +3 ? Magic weapon from allies? But they are not channeling it?
Yeahh there were 3 +1 on that bow. Never saw that before
+1 from the weapon
+1 from the Draconic Elemental Weapon buff (granted by using Drakethroat Glaive as a buff tool)

@@sintee106thanks, didnt know it would be shown like that in the UI
do you think its Possible playing Honor mode with just one or maximum Chars in the Party?
You can solo it if you know how. There is speedrun of honour in 38 mins xd
I'm guessing in this mode, you don't use Haste that much right? This spell is so strong but also kills you if you roll wrong ahah
Can you tell us how you acquire so many of the arrows? or any of the other potions/etc

@@sintee106 makes so much sense, always wondered why you were always kitted. love your vids
Hey you play fighter and wqs is the other class?
Sup with this (Ranged) fascination you have going :v
I’m still trying to figure out how you get so many of these potions and arrows.
Part rest, dont use food but still reset vendors and then buy or steal arrows and potions
Another way to get more potions and arrow: Respec>buy items>up lvl>buy items>up lvl>buy items...etc. Every time you level up it refresh items from merchants
Thanks folks.
Does all this damage stacking still work on patch 5 honour mode?
Take you 2 level Cleric for "Bonus Attack" and Arcane Synergy from Wisdom?

Is there any video where this guy fights without invisibility or surprised round ?
How difficult is Katherine Thorm compared to the Gortash or Orin fight in act 3?

Hey can you make a game/ wizard build
How did you get so many different damage types added to your attacks?
Watch the full video 4:39
Flawed Helldusk Gloves - 1d4 fire dmg
Strange Conduit Ring - 1d4 psychic dmg
Callous Glow Ring - 2 radiant dmg
Drakethroat Glaive to enchant bow - 1d4 lightning dmg
Phalar Aluve: Shriek - 1d4 thunder dmg
Can you beat every fight in the game solo?
Scratch gooddess boy
How do the arrows make almost 100 damager?
how are your stats so high?

Aylin with the kill steal😒
something smells fishy in here
First =D now lemme watch the master
Legendary action! 3 damage. 🙄
wth varus doing in the thumbnail
Aylin solo XD
I wonder how myrkul is able to use legendary action being surprised.
It´s just so sad that this is possible...

these fights are so easy without mods to make the game harder, they need to scale the difficulty better
lvl 10???
Can you make a monk build
