Legit that McDonald's worker was so sweet, double checking to see if they have a toy in stock that some random 20 somethin year old man asked for, no questions asked. Didn't even sound annoyed about it, just very genuine and helpful. Probably thought he was looking for it for his non existent child but regardless, bless her soul

In my experience all McDonalds workers have been like this. The pokémon promotion from last year had me asking all sorts of questions and every employee was kind, helpful and non-judgmental so I really appreciated it. Fast food workers get such a bad rap and I think it’s completely undeserved
Trying to collect current toy lines at McDonald’s is a pain in the ass. When I was trying to get a complete line around 7 years back, I had to go to multiple locations a few times and still wasn’t able to get all of them
I don't know about now days, but when I worked at McDonald's. You could buy a set of just the toys. No food purchase needed. We had a customer that came in for every new toy set. The only time we had to limit the purchases was the Beanie Babies sets.
@@aaronbennett7714 they told me they were sent the toys in pairs of 2 at a time so during the promotion, they would receive the different toys at different times and I kept running into overlapping stores with overlapping toys who always only had 2-3 of the toys. I wish I could have bought the set 😭

I might be overthinking the roulette block, but I think some item blocks in the series randomly cycle through some items you can see on front, and they have a kind of transparent look in some games. That's just based on memory though so take that with some salt on the side, lol. Great video!

Well what do you know, these ones were pretty decent (which makes last year's phone-ins even more embarrassing). I remember back when Burger King ran a HUGE Pokemon line of toys years ago me and my brothers literally BEGGED my Mom to travel all over to multiple Burger Kings to collect them all. Some employees tried their best to help to mixed results, and some literally just couldn't have cared less, but there was ONE in particular who went so above and beyond that she actually opened a brand-new shipment AT THE COUNTER and let us look through the WHOLE BOX picking out ones we wanted for like $2 each! It was quite the experience.

I saw the Mario Kart toys at McDonald's just recently and got super confused because I thought they already released the exact same series when Mario Kart 8 first came out. I even remember getting the little Luigi toy when it first released. Pretty trippy to see it on display again. Maybe its because it's the eighth anniversary of Mario Kart 8 this year? Feels like it just came out yesterday.
7:04 I always thought extra lives were worth slightly more than a star. I mean, personally I LIKED the star more lol, but value-wise, I thought a 1 Up was the ultimate item you could get(back in the days when games had limited lives lol)

I used to work at McDonald's and when the pandemic started we just used whatever toys we had left over and one Karen threatened to call corporate because there were no boy toys Also you can just go to McDonald's and buy a toy for a dollar. I've had a dude on 2 separate times order just 10 different minion toys

Toys and playgrounds are dying so fast...
