#Nintendo #Toys #Peebs - Ігри
I 100% rergret buying these toys, but hopefully the video is worth it. :)
Thanks for watching!
My brother got me the Kirby ball in mouth one for Christmas but he got it at a thrift store, and not for 100$ haha
Imagine not knowing how the Revtops work, did you not watch chapsticks burbger king pokeyman video
Good God Peebs, watching you trying to figure out the Diddy Kong one was watching an actual monkey try to figure it out. Even WITHOUT watching the commercial, WHERE THEY SHOW HOW TO USE IT, I think that it would have been pretty obvious that you were pushing on the part that you place Diddy on!
Its only adult OOT link in Majoras Mask world. Hilarious!
Oh It was worth watching you play with them! 😂🤣😂🤣
Peebs, you gotta put Diddy on the small part and hit the large square part, your doing it backwards
yes
Litterally came from my smart TV to my phone to say the same thing.
This bothered me more than it should have
yeah it's driving me crazy
@@generallovesucks lmao same
I like that Link can't have a sword but it's ok to show kids Mario's crippling gambling addiction
Why does that Link toy have better winged eyeliner than I will ever achieve?
Think of it this way; now you have a reference to copy from!
5:10 “It’s just like BeyBlade” proceeds to make a Persona 5 reference
Ike karubi
Peebs could've played the "Spin OUT!" sound effect when it stopped spinning but no I guess. Who edited this video? I want to launch a complaint and a compliment. I loved the Diddy Kong edit!
I started vibing for no reason
To be fair to Peebs they should've included the right instructions in the first place for Diddy.
Idk he watched the commercial and had diddy on the wrong part of the flipper bit.
Also plastic nub smacking diddy in the bum bum.
I love the part where Mario gets a gambling addiction and goes broke trying to get a jackpot
And then Mr Goodman demands his house payment if this were old SML.
@Jod-Why!? That sounds like a Mario version of what Logan Austin Thirtyacre could end up doing 'cause of his Jeffy puppet bringing the downfall and corruption.
Yee I love the part where my life collapses in on its self
Ikr.
Same
Intensely amused by the Zelda toy, which only uses one piece of official art for the Deku. The other two are just N64 renders
Paid 100 dollars for a Diddy Kong toy made for 3-year-olds. Can't even figure out how to use it. This is the quality entertainment I come here for.
(For reference, I'm pretty sure Diddy sits on the spot you were pressing. The little bumps are to hold him in place. The big pad on the back is what you press to launch him.)
Because clearly THIS is important
Peach and Bowser chasing each other around the first toy seems strangely more adult than it should.
How so?
@@justsomerando4905 I don't know, just something about the image of peach and bowser chasing each other around in circles gives me a weird image lol. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't.
@@hylianchampion8867 I get that your interpreting it dirty but I don’t really see why, it’s a funny thought though
@@justsomerando4905 Just my weird mind, I don't know why either lol.
That was one of the best intros I’ve ever seen. Absolutely fantastic
ikr he even doxxed himself for it :trololol:
Anyone noticed the man of steel theme?
"this may have worked ten years ago".
You are aware that 2002 was almost 20 years ago, right?
For those of us in our 30s, never! 😂😭
Crap I feel old
@@windrawindra1080 Agreed. It doesn't matter how long it's been. Nothing in the current millennium is allowed to be that old.
that Mario slot machine was so hilarious cause everybody in Vegas huddles and guards there slot machine like that lol.
"i have a knife but i don't think we're gonna need it.." as you have a band-aid on your finger, good call, DON'T USE KNIVES D:
+It's Just Rowan (That's my name, BTW) He got that bandage on his finger in a previous video when he tried to build D.W.'s preschool.
That wario toy is probably what inspired wario himself to make warioware.
He was so disappointed with how bad something with his face on; was, so he made a series of much better minigames to save his public image.
Shake 'em Up Fries were SOOOOO good, lol. They have cheese seasoning and chicken seasoning that you added to your fries. I remember them so fondly because they were amazing for such a ridiculous and simple concept 🤣 . I also remember these toys, but Peebs! Get the original FULL set of BK Pokémon toys they came out with for the first movie! Me and my brothers were SO excited when they came out with those 🥰. We ended up with a good bit of the set back in the day.
Yummy yummy fries
I remember those Pokemon the First Movie BK toys! I pestered my parents to take me there to get some until they caved, haha.
Do tgey still have the fries?
😋
Aww man... I remember really wanting them when they came out, but we'd almost never go to Burger King. The one time I had a chance to get them, I asked my dad, but he had hearing issues and I was shy about it, so I missed out. :'(
I love how he's using the Diddy Kong toy wrong
I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed lol, it was almost more entertaining though.
He had just watched the commercial too! it's ok Peebs...
It hurt me too
As a former owner of Kirby, Destroyer of Desks I can confirm that it did not work any better in 2002
But did you rev it more than once? Because I also had top toys like that (although not Kirby specifically), and they worked just fine. You just had to rev them several times before setting them down.
Of course, that didn't do one's desk any favors.
16:49 Gotta love that new donkey kong game to where he travels in time
i remember trying desperately to rip the lil mario off the slot machine toy as a kid because i wanted a mario figure that had fludd
Peebs: "Who plays a casino with like your face like right into it?"
Has he never been to a casino before? Even I haven't but I feel like if I went to one that description would be an accurate representation of every single person in the building
agreed
Been to a couple and I can confirm that folks do exactly that in front of the machines. You're barely able to tear some people away from one spot sometimes.
I remember the Burger King Pokemon toys. The Pokemon tops scratched up their tables and the BK employees were pissed.
You know the reason they painted FLUDD all silver was because he had some yellow on him. If they had to use reflective/metallic yellow paint, I feel like they would have gotten an endless storm of calls from parents asking if their kid won the sweepstakes lol
I remember these toys! Not fondly, but I remember them! As you showed in this video, most of them were either boring or didn't work (or both). I didn't have all of them, and I never found the mythical "golden toy".
EDIT: I should also mention that I was in the target demographic when these came out, and I _still_ found them boring.
At first I wondered how Peebs knew these were all different toys but then I realized they were numbered.
I had the Kirby toy back in the day, and I can confirm it never spun like the one on the tv commercial.
The one in the commercial must be a working model. Ba-dum tiss.
I never expected to feel nostalgic over toys I’ve never owned, but here I am
RIP shake em up fries they were good
I had the kirby one as a kid! You gotta really tilt it sideways and push the rubber part on the table so it won't scratch and your mom won't yell at you... Not speaking from experience or anything... But It'll spin super fast that way too, the maze still isn't great but at least he works as a top. My friend and I would see who could get it to spin for the longest.
I actually had the Kirby top as a kid! I never knew you were supposed to rev it up. I just assumed you spun it like a regular top, and was confused about why it never worked. The track is way to small for him to actually stay in it, though
weird story, but I remember these coming out in 2002 when I was at the height of my Nintendo Fan phase and I legitimately cried when I saw that Burger King had Nintendo toys. Finding toys based off Nintendo characters today is easy, but in the early 2000s I never saw them at the store. Also the stickers that came with the Kirby toy are still on my Nintendo 64 that I still play today.
They made toys in around 2010 too! I'd love to see those, I remember watching PBG back in like 2012? Main reason I got into gaming
Peebs pushing the wrong button on the diddy kong thing really triggered me
Haha especially after he watched the commercial again and it showed him the right way!
"Go back to your jar!"
Oh no
Now that is a glorious title for a video if I ever did see one.
Funny to think that these “games” that aren’t even fun the first time and, in most cases, can’t even be played with as an individual action figure, will all likely take centuries to fully decompose. We’re a weird species 😂
Peebs not realizing the Deku princess was supposed to go on the end of the toy took years off my life
It's not supposed to be on the end, it's supposed to be exactly where he has it, even Burger King promotional pictures show it that way
I knew I had some vague memory of these toys when I was a kid after seeing that commercial, but seeing that Yoshi definitely made me remember I actually owned it! I might even still have it somewhere in my house, the egg standee things are probably long gone, though XD
(Thinking about it I think I may have also had the Peach and Bowser clock, but that also might be long gone.)
I remember breaking a lot of these just to have the figure of the character without the extra gimmick
I remember owning ALL of these in my childhood back when they released. A few notes, pretty sure you overfilled the water on the Wario one which causes it to not work as well (I noticed the cap pop up like it had too much pressure inside), you definitely over-twisted the bananas on the DK one making it too easy (DK's also not supposed to move as fast when you push the boulder so I think you got one with a manufacturing error), the Mario one seemed like it might of got bent a little while in the package because I don't remember him blocking the slots nearly as much (that one does kinda suck though so it really doesn't matter in the end), you're supposed to hold the platform from the bottom for the Kirby top which keeps him more stable for longer (I do remember struggling with that one back in the day as well though), and finally most of these are meant to be two-player games where each player picks a character (like Peach and Bowser or Luigi and Boo) so that's where the "fun" was supposed to come from (I would mention the Diddy toy, but A LOT of people already did so I won't waste my time.
Are these worth $100..........absolutely not in a million years.....sorry Peebs.
I actually remember those shake em up fries. Basically when you get the meal it will come with a packet of cheese or something, you pour the fries in the bag along with the cheese, and then you shook it up. Now you have some cheesy fries.
My favorite kids toys from fast food was the inspector gadget from McDonalds. Basically a transformer, it was so cool.
Toasty wishing Luigi wasn't a bottom is the best part of this video
WHOA, THAT'S WHERE THOSE CAME FROM! I saw a few of these around my house and wondered what they were from.
Loved the yoshi bit that got me cry laughing
Peebs: "This one has loose little balls" -Peebs 2021
I remember getting these as a kid for Christmas. All the games sucked so I just used the detachable figures as toys to play with.
i think it's kinda cute when peebs was playing with his toys like a big kid
Anyone remember the spinning Pokémon toys at BK just like that Kirby one?
I also love how much Peebs likes to sing, like he can’t help it and has to sing in like every video lol
I had Marill.
Yes! Thank you! I was just telling my wife that I had a Jigglypuff one and was sure there were more.
Those were pretty neat!
Holy shit, I haven't seen that kind of top since like kindergarten. there was a whole line of Pokemon ones at McDonalds or something. Our teachers got made because we would play with them in class and scuff up the desks and junk!
Oh my God! I remember these burger king toys!
I didn't even know there was a special contest attached to these when I was a kid!
I have vague memories of owning the Wario and Link ones as a child. I remember thinking the art of the Deku scrubs were neat.
Watching pbg press the launch pad instead of the button, with Diddy sitting on the button is painful
Luigi is really 'call me by your name'-ing down to hell.
that intro has to be one of the best I've seen dhsja loving these toy videos so much, really enjoy to learn what old ass things I missed out on as a kid, can't wait to see the next finds!
9:02 I was half expecting it to be *Doodoofart* 😂
That Yoshi one was hilarious to watch!
Holy crap, I actually had some of these toys as a kid. I know I still have the Mario Sunshine one and the Peach/Bowser roulette, and I might still have the Kirby top? I remember that thing spinning surprisingly well, you just have to be sure to stand it on the ball. It was spinning super fast on the last attempt
Those kinds of tops do work well, if you rev them more than once.
i'm in love with kirby ball
Bro. The spinning Kirby one unlocked a memory for me, I loved that toy growing up. ❤️
These kids meal toy videos are a delight, thank you!
As a kid I remember wanting the Link one, but I think I lucked out with getting the Kirby top instead.
The Link one was the only one from this series that I owned. I think I lucked out because it was actually pretty fun to play with... even if he always hit the dekus every time.
Fun fact: the bigger the nose, the longer the pen- yeah yoshi scientificly have longer rod than Luigi.
I was 9 when these came out, and I had so many of them. Dunno if it's the pregnancy hormones, the nostalgia, or both, but I might have shed a few tears seeing some of these crappy old toys again.
The censorship at 19:22 was HILARIOUS
"This left a mark on my table Burger King!"
>Continues violently dragging Kirby toy on the table
I had these growing up, you’re bringing back great memories!
This vid has a beautiful title, beautiful intro, crappy toys, and you! Amazing =)
jeez man, that clip of MatPat saying he just simultaneously whipped and nae-nae'd that ya threw in startled me more than when my uncle screamed while playing FNaF
Peebs finally found Lanik Professor Levi!
Fantastic another video
Love watching ya keep up the awesome work
💜
Such nostalgia. So very worth it
The Kirby top is the best of the bunch. It fits his character pretty well.
11:43 with the "spleesh" whenever he missed I was expecting the "KABOOOM!!" Sounds whenever he made the shots. Lol
Ah yes, my favorite Nintendo characters: Kurbee, Maro, Looweegee, and Others.
Loving these toy videos 😁
I actually had the Wind Up Kirby Top when I was a kid! Omg the Nostalgia you provided took me back to dream land :0
Mario straight up t-posing to assert dominance on a slot machine. I'd expect nothing less.
i just recently subbed to your twitch, caught a few streams since. been waiting for the next video, happy it's here
Love these videos :)
That Link toy brought back so many memories. I mean, no memories of the toy being any good but memories nonetheless 😂
hooooly molllly these are nostalgic. I remember getting the Mario and DK ones back in the day!
Maro always loved Burber kinge 😍
Ah yes, this reminds me of the halcyon days of almost always being thoroughly disappointed by kid's meal toy from, like, 3-12 or something. I think the only ones that ever didn't suck were when McDonald's would get Hot Wheels. They were at least slightly cheaper versions of something you could buy at an actual store (though they didn't come with definitely-totally-for-realsies nutritional food). I dunno how the "girls" felt about the My Little Pony stuff since I was too big a manly man McManhboy for those. The one friend I had back than that was a girl always wanted the Hot Wheels so even back then the sample size of "am MLP toy is good?" was basically zero.
In hindsight, those MLP ones might be worth something now, what with the Bronies and whatnot. I'm unsure if pre-Friendship Is Magic stuff is still under the Bronie/Whatever-Not-Guy-MLPFIS-Fans-Are-Called umbrella or not.
My favourite part of Majora's Mask was when Link went around punching all of the Deku scrubs.
i never knew burger king made a line of nintendo toys, but now im tempted to buy them for my collection of figurines
4:24, well, according to Minus8, kirby is clearly a top
Kirby is a submissive top.
Can't even spin right.
that thumbnail is beautiful
I remember these toys!
That one where you have to push the button and have the balls go into each slot was so frustrating!
That luigi one at the end unlocked some buried memories. I totally remember having that, fucking with it sometimes, then going "meh"
These video’s always put a smile on my face, even in harder times, thanks 💙💙💙
Thanks for watching!
Interesting. I found several of these in thrift stores and grabbed them. the link was without the foes, luigi was just the main piece with out the base so nice to see how the heck these things worked
I've seen the Link one before but I avoided getting one because Link would NEVER attack the Deku princess.
@@Hauntaku Yeah that was a really odd choice they made using dekus, especially the princess. Theres soooo many other enemies available. At least the king would had been more understandable for trying to "punish" the innocent monkey.
@@Anna-Sasin A Carbuncle from final fantasy :)
@@kagehikari4281 cool
1:00 dude, they have these fries in Vietnam here, they come with a package of like powdered cheese, and you close the bag and shake it up, it's really the most fun one can have in their adult life...
I think Yoshi should've gotten the #1 spot, since he's the only one that's functionally just a regular toy and not part of some funky contraption
I had the Kirby top maze when I was a kid! Kirby left red marks on our basement tile for years. This was a fun blast from the past.
The kirby top with the rubber bottom is actually a really good top, you just need to spin it more than once lol
I remember these! The burger king we went to only had the spinning kirby toy. So me, my brother, and my sister all had the same toy. We were even able to go back a second time and they STILL just had spinning kirby. 6 year-old me was so mad.
It's amazing how much of a difference the instructions make
You know peebs I like how chill you are. I remember in an art channel, jazza showed getting genuinely upset to some extent when the magic pad scratched his leather desk. Granted the ending is dramatized, but there was some real anger there. You just vibin
Man, seeing the kirby top brings back so many memories, only because it was one of the toys my childhood best friend had at their house. And man did they have a lot of cool toys. (They're a good friend too, BTW)
that kirby one somehow gave me hella nostalgia!
I remember the shake bag fries! They were like cheese fries or something and they came with a cheese powder that you poured in the bag and shook to coat the fries... in hindsight, that's actually really pathetic, but as a kid it was the coolest thing.
