So weve replaced the pump and the washer “sounds” normal now. Only problem is it’s not spinning! Any words of advice? I can hear the water come in and hear it drain but that’s it. I don’t see the water in the tub or it move.

How enter in service mode in this model GFWH1200D1WW ?
I bought this exact machine in Feb 2015. This is the 2nd time I’ve have to replace my pump. I refuse to pay GE to send someone out & have done it myself in the past. The last time it was in 2017. I won’t say this is the worst washer I’ve ever bought, as it’s the first one I’ve bought as an adult & otherwise it performs beautifully. I’m honestly not sure if it’s the pump itself with issues or the very hard water we have.
How do you reset the control board for that everything works I put a new motor new pump new water inlet but my control board won’t kick everything on you can hear maybe halfway through the pump coming on and then no water whatsoever no spinning no action so it sounds like it’s the control board how can you reset the control board because they are expensive

Does the universal pump you have listed for amazon work with the stock wiring?
Where is the tech sheet located ?
How do you know if the pump is the problem, because mine is like this same model GFWH1200H0W but without the liquid drawer, mine spinning but when current time pass over 30 minutes more less stopped and shown in the display pause mode alone and locked door and never make drain in any cycle , all inside stay wet and nothing to do because stay long time LOCKED mode , I'm tried to pause and after 10 minutes unlocked and try to do same cycle but nothing , begining spinning back and forth one time and stopped and unlock and locked but nothing then, sound crazy but I think is the screen touchpad mother board or maybe is the pump sending back information fault or what it is , please let me know what can I do ... I have one warranty year yet of this washer but at least I want to know more less what it is , drain pipe is close and lower from washer , filter is clean, please let me know what else I can do , thank you.

@@giselavillela6529 in mine the technician said was the motherboard but when he did the change the front plastic cover with display still with problem , the final troubleshooting found water pump was in short circuit and was replaced by new one and works , and the old motherboard with display was bad too , for free beacuse have warranty , mostly times the guy says is the water pump , put your fingers inside drain pipe without power and try to move , if is hard to move is that one .
@@giselavillela6529 disculpa , te explico mejor en español 🤦🏻♂️, gracias por tu ayuda pero ya me lo arreglaron , era la bomba de agua y el board electronico , al estar en corto circuito la bombita de drenaje se llevo tambien el relay solido en el motherboard y eso es irremplazable dicen ellos, en la parte delantera donde se baja la tapita donde esta el filtro , sacas el filtro , desconectas la lavadora de la corriente y trata de moverlo , si no se mueve libre es la bombita , por lo que me explico el tecnico , ya funciona la mia ya , so tuve que extender por dos años mas la garantia por si acaso jeje , espero te sirva igual aunque tu me querías ayudar , gracias igual

My model looks similar but my suddenly stop the wash I reset the new cycle it doesn't wash. It goes to pause mode like lock the door and drain. Then unlock. Play Pause flashes. So my washer doesn't spin and let water enter. I have new water hose. I clean the machine filter and had a machine self clean before that 2 load of laundry.
What is the problem? I unplugged for days and it still have the same problem. It goes straight into pause mode everytime. Pause mode as it drain for mins
It doesn't even spin and spray water
How do you know if the pump is the problem?

Why not just remove the bottom panel, change the pump and put the bottom panel back on? Removing the top, control panel and door seem unnecessary. I couldn't watch the whole video because of the frequent movement of the camera...made me ill.
I got sick watching it too.
I bought one of these stupid machines about a year ago & it's still under warranty but it's not draining the water & this was after it was fixed the last time. I's still not working. Will never get one of these horrible washers again. Pure junk!!!!!!⁸
Just buy an Electrolux and call it a day.
