Some suggestions. 1. You should have build your second fence on the inside of the other. It would require 16 fewer wall segments and 32 fewer metal plates and corresponding nails and propane. 2. Following the first would have allowed you to build stake traps at the corner where the zombies approach most at night. You can make the spears out of limbs rather than boards and you don't need to replace them. If you find glue and scotch tape you can repair them enough to be usable. If you have common sense mod you can repair the spears with kitchen knives, butter knives, etc. and ripped sheets. This means you can reuse all the spears indefinitely with just the materials the zombies bring to your base! I would turn insta death off for the player though. Stake traps are hella dangerous. If you can kill 30 zeds a night that's 30 zeds who aren't beating on your walls and attracting attention. 3. Build a stake trap that is shaped like a square with a hollow center and put 4 alarm clocks in it. Have the alarms set for every 6 hours. The zeds will naturally be interested in those alarms and this will help clear the area around your home. 4. You can fill your oven with old clothes and ripped sheets. Fill your backpack with the clothing and then select rip sheets. It will rip all the clothes in your pack and render threat and sheets. Burn the dirty rags and use the clean sheets for weapons and clothing repair. This will save time chopping trees and give sewing exp. 5. Since you have the Nomad mod and possibly RV interiors you could set up some chest freezers and a TV inside your panel van and then kept food frozen and watched TV whenever you wanted. You could also sleep in there when traveling. 6. Were you forbidden to use fire? Take that El Camino and go start a campfire in a field a ways away from your base but not too far and lure the zombies to it with your horn. They catch fire and you drive around honking until every zombie in the area sprints over and catches fire. It will take a lot of pressure off your base and clear the surrounding area of zeds.

*_Wow dude! That's some top tier acting right there!_*
_You really made it sound like you where "one millisecond" away from death! I mean, seriously! Bravo! 👏🏻_
1:20:22 "I just need a car, any car." *Earn to Die flashbacks*
27:40 antizin? Like in Dying light??
Love the editing, the music, and the challenge. I've never seen much of this game and have never played it myself. It seemed like not my kind of thing, but this was definitely enjoyable to watch.
Plus, as a creator myself, the kind of effort put into this is admirable. The effort alone earned a like and sub.
rick always has the best musics for the videos, is there a chance for you to write them in the description?
Ye totally forgot to, my bad
@@Ricksdetrix dw its fine
I got the best experience watching this while purposely avoiding to look how much time remained on the video, not knowing if / when you'll get overrun. Let me tell you, the last days got me on the edge of my sit! :D
1:03 what roblox game is it, please tell me so i can crush some egos
You make the best Zomboid videos on youtube in my opinion. I don't care if I have to wait a year for the next big vid, I'll come back everytime. This must've taken so much effort to make, thanks for the amazing content Ricky 💛💛💛
4:18 those zombies killed themselves by hitting the blockage? Ok... interesting challenge I see :S
You know how to tell a story dude, that ending with westpoint and trying to return home was phenomenal. I was on the edge of my seat.
the zombies really just said *BANG DOOR BANG DOOR BANG DOOR BANG DOOR*
>first 2 and a hour hours: tense, nigh hopeless survival, slow and methodical
>those last 30 minutes: *FUCK IT WE BALL, THE ZOMBIES DESERVE SOME PUNISHMENT ANYWAY!!*
amazing experience, was on the edge of my seat!
Video was so long I'm getting recommended a ton of UA-cam movies. Amazing stuff man, I don't know how you manage to edit these super long videos but man are they great.
gotta love the TF2 engineer quote (And if that don't work, use more gun) XD
Ricksdetrix and Welyn my two fav storytelling gaming youtubers
Hopefully you are better health wise now. Absolutely fantastic video, thanks for the good work.
aw man, this looks like a fun thing to do with my sister... when we play together, i tend to be a homebody, sorting loot, reading skill books, building, and cooking, and my sister drives all around town looting, coming home when everything is stuffed and coming in only long enough to dump everything onto the floor. we also both like shooting, with her preferring rifles and pistols and me preferring shotguns. it seems like a good combo!
Had me at the edge of my seat for the last 10 days. Wild stuff!
Always been a big fan of the channel. Your videos always help when I'm feeling down. I love the somber and sporadic tone of this video. Especially the ending. Love the vids!
This has gotta be one of the most entertaining zomboid videos I’ve watched, great work man! 👍🏿👍🏿
love the buckshot roulette music in the bg. makes everything feel extra hyped.
my eyes shot open upon hearing the risk of rain tracks lmao, good stuff as always dude.
loved this so much! the clutch at the end was insane. keep it up!
I have never played this game but I am still here binging all your videos. You're an awesome creator dude.
When you went down to the cage, it was like you enter a blender machine jajajaajaj You were shredered!! xD so close, super fun watching. Awsome video man :D

This was an insane video and I can’t even imagine how it was trying to play it through. Absolute props to u!
I love your 100 days challenge, your rooftops videos got me into this game. Great video, wonderful editing, I hope you make more of them ! :)
Love the music choices, great editing and great video!
@Ricksdetrix Absolutely phenomenal video. The determination, the edits, the strategies, and the funnies, *THE MUSIC TOO* You have a real knack for this man keep up the good work. edits are in "*"
this video is actualy so good.. how did you trick me into watching a whole project zomboid movie when I don't even play the game
Thanks for making an awesome video. Really makes me appreciate this game and its modding community even without having the chance to play it in recent time and more importantly, the amount of work and pain put to make such awesome content.
At the end idk how did you manage to not loose motivation bc if i were you i would have accepted my fate when i got the 1 bite, it's just too much of menu's, crafting recipes and scavenge you need to finish it, you deserve a medal mate
Nearly choked on my drink at 56:55 dang Lugias melody goin hard.
1:07:02 "Today is a... lost day. I'm not sure what happened, but now it's 10pm." Said no gamer ever
New fan, what amazing story telling and editing! Wow!
I mean this with a lot of respect when I say your videos are perfect to fall asleep to, I jumped on it when I saw it on my recommended page 😂
Sleep content meta baby! Although saying that, I'm sure the loud voice acted bits and montages aren't great for staying asleep lol
@@Ricksdetrix you'd be surprised lol, keep it up man! And hey, more watch time for you XD
Just finished watching this at 4:50 am lol, thank you for the content!!!
